• Katerina (10/5): - SeaLaVie was fantastic! The location is perfect - just a few meters from the beach, where the snorkeling is easily the highlight of the island. The breakfast was awesome, offering a huge variety of dishes to start the day, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. What truly stood out, however, was the staff’s incredible support during situation in the Middle East when my flight was canceled. They went above and beyond to accommodate me, extending my stay at a very fair rate and even helping me navigate the complexities of a visa extension. They turned a stressful situation into a seamless experience. I can’t recommend this place enough for their kindness and professionalism!

• Rishi (9/5): Highly recommend! - Wonderful stay! The staff is amazing, the room was very comfortable, and we could easily access everything we wanted to see and do around the island. Unfortunately, there is a lot of construction happening on the island. This impacts every place you can stay, but does impact the overall feeling of relaxation for a vacation.

• Robin (9/5): An Oasis in a Growing Concrete Jungle - The staff and the owner are extremely nice and kind people...always available and we genuinely caring . Sea La Vie is an oasis in a jungle of construction around it on Ukulhas ...once we were inside the courtyard we could forget the huge construction..although occasionally we could still hear it. Sea la Vie does a nice breakfast...and the lunch or dinner is served at an adjacent restaurant..which was friendly and tasty. Nice location, too, on the beach .. bathroom was spacious..plenty of hangers for snorkeling gear to dry. The reef was quiet nice ...not the best we've seen ...but easy to get to. Some sharks and a turtle. Some live coral ...good in places. The very best was the morning mantra ray trip ...and aod boat trip early in the morning just for us two . Very recommended. Certainly we were hugely disappointed by the encouragement high rise construction on the island ...it's already busy busy and it's going to be we guess twice the amount This small island already felt on bikini beach crowded ...something like Southern Spain ...lots of people too stamping on the corals .....we can't imagine what it will be like when the available beds is doubled??? Furthermore there seems to be no management by the island to ask tourists to behave nicely to their environment...especially the coral and sea life .there are no information signs 😕
• John (9/5): - SeaLaVie arranged our speedboat from Male airport to Ukulhas. We were met on the dock and taken to the accommodation. The room was clean & spacious and has a small table and chairs infront where breakfast is served. Staff were friendly & helpful. Although located on the other side of the island from the bikini beach, it's only a 10 minute walk to the beach. There is also a beach area directly across from SeaLaVie but the water is not as sheltered as at the bikini beach.

• Sabah (1/5): Very difficult stay. - L’emplacement We discovered bed bugs in the room on our first evening. In hindsight, the strong chemical lemon smell in the room at check-in seemed suspicious to us, although we cannot prove anything. We had to wake our baby during their sleep in the middle of the night to urgently move to another hotel. Thankfully, the staff were kind and helpful and assisted us in finding alternative accommodation, and we thank them for that. We were also surprised that the manager asked us to pay the “Green Tax” for our baby under one year old, whereas in other places this tax usually applies from the age of two. Regarding the rest of the stay, we prefer not to comment as we do not have enough perspective. Overall, a very stressful experience despite the kindness of the staff.

Paradise Lost for us, paradise found for another type of vacation. Sealavie is in the more preserved area with good snorkeling and cool restaurant/bars close.

E’ abbastanza varia ma non a buffet. Le camere vengono pulite spesso ed hai a disposizione i teli per il mare. Si sono occupati della prenotazione del transfer. Hanno delle sdraio sulla spiaggia di fronte. Nel complesso ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Wi-Fi disponibile. Purtroppo l’area del cafe era in ristrutturazione, quindi il patio della stanza aveva vista muro. Appena finiranno i lavori, l’area del giardino e del cafe saranno molto confortevole.

The place is very cozy and well managed by Fazeel and the staff girls. Our room was large and equipped with A/C, mini bar, bathroom with shower and a small patio where you could have breakfast. The property is a few metres from all the beaches of the island that have free sunbeds. We stayed 8 days with excellent breakfast select from 4/5 choices including continental or American breakfast or typical Maldivian dishes. The property also offers numerous excursions. None

In en kleinen Bungalows hat man Privatsphäre und ist dennoch in der guesthouse family integriert. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber ausreichend und man wählt zwischen kontinental oder landestypisch Beim Abendessen hat man sehr gute Auswahl und kann dabei wunderbar unter Palmen direkt am Meer. sitzen . Die Unterkunft liegt an einem schönen Strand der Insel, wenn es dort zu windig oder wellig ist, geht man grad ein paar Schritte zur anderen Inselseite und windstillem Badestrand mit Schnorchelmögluchkeit. Zur Zeit verändert sich die Insel sehr schnell aufgrund von Baumaßnahmen mit allem was dazu gehört Wir hatten bewusst ein local island gewählt . Authenzität beinhaltet auch Veränderungen. Wir haben uns dafür entschieden das Gute und Schöne in allem zu sehen.

The room was clean and perfectly prepared, and the location was excellent, just one minute from bikini beach. There was a wide selection of breakfast options, towels and drinking water were available for guests. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and efficiently assisted us when we had an issue due to the lack of a public ferry. Highly recommended!

Tasty and fresh breakfast (you select from 5 local or 5 continental options), all of them are nice. It was our honeymoon and we got a really nice welcome and farewell. The location is also great, close to the beach and a good restaurant. The room was big, same as the bed and bathroom. I loved everything, a really great stay.

Ukulhas offre belle spiagge e ricchi fondali, isola da visitare prima che arrivi l'overtourism dei grandi alberghi in costruzione. Base ideale per escursioni nei dintorni.

Die Zimmer sind groß, geräumig und bieten viel Platz für alle Sachen, die man so mit schleppt. Das Bett war riesig und super bequem. Es gibt eine Auswahl an lokalem und internationalem Frühstück. Die Leute vor Ort sind unfassbar nett und hilfsbereit. Sie sind so herzlich und aufgeschlossen. Wir haben alle direkt ins Herz geschlossen. Vielen Dank das ihr unseren Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht habt💕 wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder. Es gibt überhaupt nichts zu beanstanden. Alles war perfekt.

• José Fernando (10/5): Sitio familiar y acogedor - El trato del personal, pendiente en todo momento de ti, llegando a ser muy familiar. La organización y las actividades fueron espectaculares, siendo el único inconveniente la actividad del tiburón ballena. Recomiendo el hotel si quieres vivir e integrarte en la vida local de Maldivas. La actividad del tiburón ballena, muy masificada, ya que nos zambullimos solo una vez rodeados por 15 embarcaciones y éramos 50 personas en el agua en modo carrera, para verlo 5 segundos, ya que se hundió y no supimos más de el. Dejo una reflexión por aquí de la isla de Ukulha, ya que nos encontramos la isla en el que más de la mitad de las viviendas estaban haciéndose nuevas construcción ( como un hotel de 10 plantas), preparándose para el turismo, y que dentro de un año se convertirà la isla, en un resort local, perdiendo su encanto.

Но нам больше понравился снорклинг , на пляже который с другой стороны отеля, чуть дальше идти. Чисто,уютно в номерах.Убирают и меняют постели через день. Мы брали завтрак, обед, ужин. И не капли не пожалели. Повар Shaina прекрасно и разнообразно готовит.Мне очень трудно с сыном, потому что он многое не ест , и поэтому Shaina готовила все исходя из его предпочтений.За это ей огромное спасибо. В местных кафе порции маленькие, много приправ, мой сын точно бы не выжил😃 на этом 9 дней. Рекомендую этот гостевой дом на 1000% Комары заели.Мы использовали кучу фумигаторов, но они не помогали.Было бы здорово , если бы кусты в отеле чем то обрызгивали

• Bisalisa (10/5): Exceptional - One of the best vacations ever. Ukhulas as an island itself is a piece of paradise on earth; but these guys make your experience even more divine. We were feeling as part of the family from the first time we set foot on the island, until the last day these lovely people personally saw us off to the dock, making sure we care about nothing else but just enjoy the well-deserved vacation. I am especially thankful to Sheena; we took a full package including all 3 meals, and never regretted because Sheena is a great talented cook and the meals she made for us every day were simply amazing. I am highly recommending this guesthouse to everyone! And I am wishing all the best to the owner and the team. I didn't want to say good bye.
• Anna (9/5): Superb - Beautiful accommodation on a small island. Everywhere was close, rooms were clean, staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, restaurant right next to the hotel where you could have a good lunch and dinner. In the courtyard of the hotel a beautiful oasis of peace.

• Wineguy (10/5): a very good quality break for a couple or family - On arrival at the island (via speed boat), staff will meet you at the pier and help you with your luggage to your apartment, and the same applies for departure. The rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with air conditioning and a fan. There is a good choice of breakfast, with several types of local breakfast or a continental breakfast served on the terrace surrounded by tropical plants. It is accompanied by good coffee, tea and a choice of juices. The location itself is about 100 metres from the sandy beach. There are many restaurants serving local delicacies in the immediate vicinity. The staff is very friendly and helpful! That this holiday had to come to an end and we had to go back home.

Comfortable room , bead , there was tv and good wifi Some bad smell in toilette , probably from sewerage system, but I believe the owner did already take care to solve that
• Andrew (10/5): Both the accommodation and Ukulhas were exceptional - Fantastically chilled and ideal for relaxation. Easy to pop to and from any of the wonderful beaches. Great breakfast and evening meals . Room was serviced daily and very clean , nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and we highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Ukulhas. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like and will be rebooking on our next trip to the Maldives.

If you’re looking for a clean and relaxed place and want to support local people you should definitely go to SeaLaVie. We have been welcomed very warmly and Fasil, Darlin and the team took care of everything: transfer, breathtaking excursions for a very fair price, breakfast and basically everything we needed. The hotel itself is very cute and public area is very relaxing as well. We both love their breakfast. They have many choices so you won’t get bored, and the portion and quality are good as well. All the rooms are quite separated, kind of like villa to me, so lots of privacy. The location is pretty good, close to the port and bikini beach. Can’t really name one.

Maybe is a context thing, the hotel has a partnership with a restaurant and we catched a tropical.storm and we couldn't get to the lunch in time as it was raining and the streets were like rivers, but we managed to find an opened restaurant nearby after the rain stopped

The guesthouse is 1min away from a nice, quiet beach, and 2 min away from the bigger one with the beach bars. The staff was really amazing, helpfully and kind. The breakfasts were okay, could be bigger, but you can choose between Maldivian or continental breakfast. Next to the guesthouse there is a really nice restaurant and a few shops. Close to any beach as the island is very small. Everything right next to it. You can snorkel, swim, sunbathe and see turtles and sharks within 2 minutes of walking to the beach. Not a minus, just a suggestion to put hangers for hand towels in the bathroom :)

At night we can hear a little bit of the noise from the nearest restaurant.
