Important Information

Due to the renovation we will have, until December 2023, from Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, only one elevator available. However, it is possible that due to removal/supply of building materials we may not have any elevators available. The rooms will of course remain accessible by the stairs. Check-in: Mon - Fri 4:00 PM Sat - Sun 3:00 PM Check out: Mon - Fri 10:00 AM Sat - Sun 12:00 noon The bar will be closed until November, you are welcome to order drinks in our restaurant.

Sebastien (9/5): Excellent séjour pour le travail. - Chambre est tres (trop?) grande, les matelas ne sont pas très confortables, je trouve. La situation de l'hotel, bien que pratique au niveau accessibilité, n'est pas idéale pour boire un verre ou sortir un peu le soir. Le manque de sourire du personnel à l'accueil. Très formel, poli, mais pas très agréable.

Philippe (6/5): Ontgoochelende ervaring en totaal geen beleving - Het eten in het restaurant was goed. Bij het bestellen van onze drank vroegen ze van de bediening of wij een voucher hadden voor een welkomst drank. Wanneer wij antwoordden dat wij deze niet hadden ontvangen vroeg men ons hoe we geboekt hadden. Was dus niet voor klanten die boeken via Booking. Heel vreemde houding van het hotel dat de wijze van boeken bepalend is hoe je behandeld wordt. Wanneer wij bij uitchecken daar op gewezen hebben, werd ons letterlijk gezegd dat wij technisch gezien klanten van Booking zijn en blijkbaar geen klanten van Van der Valk, heel vreemd. Wij hadden geboekt voor een luxe kamer, maar voor de koffie op de kamer worden kartonnen bekers voorzien. Er is geen water op de kamer en de koelkast van minibar leeg. Het hygiënische papier van een bedenkelijk niveau. Er waren geen badjassen, maar gelukkig konden we deze huren aan de receptie. Echter moest ook een borg voor betaald worden, die alleen maar terugbetaald wordt bij terugbrengen aan receptie. Is wel vreemd om bij uitchecken met natte badjassen te staan aanschuiven aan de balie, waarom kunnen we deze niet gewoon op de kamer laten ? De kamers zijn groot en proper, en de bedden heel goed, maar er is géén beleving, géén bezieling, geen luxe. Wij hebben al wat ervaring met Van der Valk, maar mistten de beleving zoals in Arlon, Luik of Gent

Vivien (5/5): Overall, my experience was 50–50: there were good aspects, but I am slightly disappointed with the overall quality of m - The room was spacious, private, and well sound-insulated, and it was equipped with a sufficient number of towels. Upon entering my room directly after check-in, I immediately felt as if the room had not been properly prepared or checked before my arrival. The air inside the room had a strong, unpleasant ammonia-like odor — stinky, dusty air that made it clear the room had not been adequately ventilated or cleaned. Additional issues: • Air circulation did not work / very poor air quality • Sauna was not turned on at 19:30 • Fireplace was not functioning • TV remotes were misplaced and had no batteries • Coffee cups next to the machine were dirty and stuck together with sugar residue • Shower initially released foul-smelling water • Bathtub was dusty • Decorative lights were very dusty • Carpet was dirty and had an unpleasant odor • Check-in was a bit slow • Unexpected extra costs — parking was not included • Online booking price did not match the price charged on site

Duurde erg lang waarbij er drie achter de receptie staan en 1 zich verstopt en dus niet helpt waardoor het lang duurde met inchecken. Verder vergeten de creditcard te koppelen zodat ik in de bar niet op rekening kon betalen en maar apart heb afgerekend. Ben dit niet gewend van Van der Valk.

Heidi (8/5): Een weekendje weg - het ontbijt was heel lekker en veel keus. bubbelbad was zalig bed was fijn om in te slapen mooi uitzicht op onze kamer, vooral als het donker was. zwembad was niet zoals gezegd verwarmd, vond het best wel fris. de bediening in de lounge duurde soms wel heel lang, de tafel plakte ook van vorige gasten spijtig dat de sky lounge niet toegankelijk was voor de gasten, dit had zeker een meerwaarde geweest om s'avonds te vertoeven. Ook een plan van Utrecht voor de gasten ter beschikking leggen, zou zeker een meerwaarde geweest zijn voor ons.

Sydney (10/5): Degelijk hotel, goede service. Vriendelijk personeel, ruime keuze met ontbijt! -

Joop (10/5): - Ruime kamer/ badkamer en wc in aparte ruimte en royaal. Fijne wellness met ruime openingstijd. bij het zwembad en sauna’s miste ik ophanghaken voor badjas en handdoek . De stoomsauna stoomde veel te weinig en op de vloer staat teveel water (loopt niet af)
Stefan (10/5): - Sehr schönes, größeres Zimmer mit Blick über Utrecht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut sortiert und es gab ausreichend Plätze im Restaurant. Die Temperatur im Speisesaal hätte ruhig etwas höher sein können.
