- Angela (10/5): Very enjoyable stay. - We were very impressed with this hotel. The food and service was excellent. Exactly what we wanted for our stay. Thank you
- Barbara (10/5): - Thank you for a lovely stay
- Ivan (8/5): - Somewhere between a bed-and-breakfast and a small luxury hotel, the staff go above and beyond to make your stay very comfortable. The gem of this location is the restaurant which is perfect for a couple, but not suitable for kids. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
- Laurie (10/5): - We had the most amazing stays. The inn keepers are super friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Our first night we decided to dine in their restaurant. The food selection and quality was as good as any fine dining restaurant. We ended up eating there all four of our nights. The breakfast in the morning also offered many choices and was delicious. We did not want to leave. It is truly the nicest B & B we have ever stayed in.
- Richard (10/5): Second visit - Our second stay here and still superb. Very large dog friendly room perfect with easy access to outside areas.
Evening dinner was excellent as was breakfast.
Great stay! David and Gill are the perfect hosts.
- Tiana (10/5): A fairytale setting - A fairytale spot in South Wales. Truly. Every little thing perfect. However, if you're there in a Sunday night, eat at the inn as nothing else is open. We so enjoyed this place.
- Sonja (10/5): Business trip - Really lovely place to stay. Friendly welcome and amazing food.
- Danielle (10/5): Gorgeous place - Beautiful place, set in a lovely, quiet area. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely visit again. X
- Rosemary (10/5): - David & Gill were wonderful hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The food was wonderful and the place was very clean.
- Bob (10/5): - First class stay with very friendly hosts and excellent food.
- William (10/5): - Very pleasant location in the countryside.
- Nicholas (10/5): Great stay - Lovely building
Very friendly owners
Great food
- Ruby (10/5): A Delightful Stay - We were warmly greeted at reception by David and Buster, who happens to be a golden retriever. Tea/coffee and delicious bara brith offered in the lounge. We stayed in the annex, which was a very large room and bathroom. Spotlessly clean with a generous and comfortable bed and a decent sized smart TV with free streaming services available. Although there's a very nice pub very close by, we chose to eat at Ty Mawr both nights, and we're glad we did. The food is fresh, locally sourced and very nicely cooked and presented. Breakfasts were equally impressive - particularly the berry and granola pots with yoghurt. The care and attention to detail that goes into making your stay at Ty Mawr special is obvious. We really enjoyed our experience and look forward to our next visit.
- Nick (10/5): - Lovely people, setting and hotel. Buster the dog is a real character too!
Had a great time 😊
- Wendy (10/5): - Fantastic staff, service excellent, Food impeccable and location awesome.
- Bruce (10/5): - Had a lovely time at Ty Mayr, had booked two days but stayed an extra day. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. A good location for driving to the castles in the area. David is very friendly and helpful, did everything possible to make our stay a nice experience. Buster the retriever is a nice plus too. Would stay here again.
- Ben (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and did everything they could to look after us. The room was beautiful and so comfy, we left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Buster was the highlight of the trip! We will be back
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A warm welcome, nothing too much trouble for the team.
Food served was excellent, locally sourced and thoughtfully prepared and served. All areas of the hotel were clean , spacious and with a just a lovely place to relax.
- Dr Kamlesh (2/5): - We were expected to move 3 times over our 3 night stay. Never ever done that before as the rooms were double booked.
- Christian (10/5): - Super friendly and lovely family Hotel!
Nice, delicious and local food, nothing to complain.
Would every time book again!
- Jane (10/5): Stunning! - A delightful stay again. Everything superb. Accommodation tasteful, comfortable and spotless. Food, absolutely delicious.
