Guest Reviews
- Edwin (10/5): Great value B&B - Everything about Paul and Carys and their wonderful b&b. No criticisms at all.
- Janet (10/5): Friendly and efficient hosts - We have stayed before and we were glad to return. Lovely hosts, plenty of choice at breakfast, a very comfortable, refurbished bedroom and spotless accommodation generally. Nothing
- David (10/5): - Staying at Yr Hen proved to be a very enjoyable experience. We had an excellent room with a very large and comfortable bed that was well equipped with everything you would expect to have in your own home. Paul and Carys were super hosts who were focussed on making our stay in their home a memorable experience. There was a huge choice for breakfast and we especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and local yoghurt. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Old Mill and would happily recommend it to anyone who needs a base for exploring the Llyn peninsula.
- Yeardsley (10/5): Special b&b no negative feedback only positives - Everything No negative feedback

- Mike (10/5): Probably the nicest B&B we have ever stayed at. - Absolutely everything was perfect. Our room was large and comfortable containing everything we might need for our stay with lots of thoughtful little extras such a milk in the fridge, cake left for us upon arrival, biscuits, tea & coffee facilities, plenty of toiletries in the bathroom, etc....
Paul & Carys were both exceptional hosts and we would definitely recommend. We also hope to return at some point in the future to explore more of the local area. There was nothing at all not to like, everything was spot on.
- Vicky (10/5): The perfect hosts and a wonderful stay - Paul and Carys couldn’t have done more! The room was large, well equipped, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We stayed for me to do the SheUltra Run and it was perfectly located. My husband and I are both vegan and were provided with homemade cake; vegan biscuits & chocolates, and oat milk. The breakfast was very generous and excellent quality; including a beautifully fresh fruit salad and a full Welsh breakfast. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area. Diolch yn fawr am bopeth /
- mary (10/5): A lovely quiet bed and breakfast and Thankyou Paul and ceris you are stars - My husband and myself had most wonderful time We could not fault anything Nothing it was excellent

Absolutely nothing.Everything perfect.
- David (10/5): Excellent value for money & I would highly recommend to others. - An excellent B&B, everything you could think to ask for was already provided. We wanted for nothing. Friendly hosts & an excellent location to explore the Llŷn Peninsula & surrounding area. Very difficult to find fault.
- Ellie (10/5): Paul and Cary’s were amazing and very friendly, we can’t wait to come back! - Lovely room!! Cant wait to try one of the other rooms next time too. Nice peaceful setting with garden views, very cosy feel. Loved everything
- Carol (10/5): A really delightful stay in a super B&B. - We were delighted with our stay. Paul and Carys are superb hosts and have created a really delightful, homely atmosphere. Their home is full of interesting artefacts and paintings and they have supplied everything a visitor could want to help them explore the area. The bed in Red and Gold room was possibly the most comfortable bed I have slept in and was certainly the largest. There was a welcome slice of Carys’s bara brith awaiting us in our rooms and tea, coffee, milk, water and biscuits supplied daily. These wonderful hosts had thought of everything, even down to a pretty box in the bedroom containing a variety of small things that guests might have forgotten to pack. Breakfast was superb and incredibly well presented in an extremely pretty dining room. There is also a delightful small sitting room where guests can enjoy magazines, books and information about the local area. Simply fabulous. Thank you Carys and Paul. I didn’t like the fact I had to leave. We should have booked to stay longer.
- Steve Luck (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful hosts. Really liked the individual stations at breakfast and the food options at breakfast. Room facilities and provisions provided unmatched. Could not have asked for more.

- Martin (10/5): Truly exceptional stay at wonderful property on north Llyn coast - Yr Hen Felin is a fabulous property that has been beautifully restored by Paul and Carys who were the most warm and friendly hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. Extremely comfortable large rooms with thoughtful touches throughout made this better than a luxury hotel as the care and attention to detail was so evident. Breakfasts were very special with a range of options cooked beautifully to order plus the usual cold buffet items from which individual bowls of fresh mixed fruit and berries were a highlight. Even three nights was too short a stay and we will definitely return when we can get back to the area. Nothing at all - our stay couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you Paul and Carys!
- Coleen (10/5): Absolutely wonderful in every way. - Beautiful, spotless and comfortable accommodation. Paul and Carys greeted us with a warm welcome. Such friendly hosts.
