Pamela (10/5): - Everything. The view, was amazing. The cottage was comfy and cozy. The theme of the sea throughout. Not that we didn't like it, more of a suggestion. A grab bar or two in the bathroom for getting in and out of the tub. The tub is high and for seniors it can be an issue.

She deserves the 10 plus!! Not having a phone number where you can reach somebody quickly. Trying to figure out which cottage was assigned to us because we never received an email that was supposedly sent. Maybe advising the onsite staff which cottage is for the incoming guests.

Debbie (9/5): We had a memorable stay! - The cottage was simple but completely met our needs and was accurately advertised. We loved our “neighbours” the deer who visited multiple times a day. Having satellite tv meant we were able to watch the Blue Jays on their World Series run! Do wish that there were a few restaurants and a grocery store a little closer but the location was beautiful and relaxing. No complaints or concerns. Perhaps a newer couch?

Doreen (9/5): Whispering Waves is a wonderful escape from the city and the staff was very friendly and do wiling to please, - Peaceful and quiet, beautiful view from our deck. There were not any grocery or convenience stores nearby.

Sherry (7/5): We would go again. - We liked the location. It was a nice little hideaway place to go. The free firewood was a bonus and much appreciated. The jacuzzi tub when we turned the jets on it spewed out disgusting stuff and was definitely unusable. The door in the one bedroom stuck very much in the floor and was difficult to close. The toilet paper was very thin.

Shelly (7/5): Whispering Waves Cottages is a great place for everyone! - I love that it’s right on the water and the great, level and spacious lawn is great for lawn games and children and dogs to run around on. The cottage was very spacious and I loved the large, covered deck. Only minor things really. The taps in our bath/shower were very wobbly and I wasn’t able to find a hair dryer in our room. Although the bed was very comfortable to sit on, I didn’t find the mattress very supportive. A little too “squishy” for me and wasn’t able to sleep well. Something I wouldn’t have thought of if it hadn’t happened during our stay, we lost the power for a few hours and although we had a few little tea lights, some emergency candles and/or a flashlight on the premises would have come in handy. Water was delivered to each of the cottages during the outage which we very much appreciated.

The fireplace gave off enough heat to warm up the cottage. Only thing was the jetted tub did not turn off properly, when the jets were turned off the motor turned back on after it was drained and we had to use the breaker to turn it off.

Carmela (10/5): - Before I start, a HUGE shout out to the owners Trent & Pam! Our mini vacation at Whispering Waves Cottages was just what we needed. The waterfront views are absolutely stunning at any time of day! Our teens went into the water for a dip. There were some deer around the outer perimeter of the property that didn’t bother us but beautiful to see around. The cottage was clean and spacious for 4 of us and lots of seating area outside of the cottage and on the property. Bring some groceries and drinks with you so you don’t have to go out again. Most restaurants and stores are about 25–30min away and be mindful that many may close earlier than you might be used to. If you enjoy beaches, there are many around in all directions to explore. We had lovely neighbours who were a great wealth of information & extremely helpful to us. (They have been going there for over 15 years and couldn’t speak enough about Whispering Waves and the owners!) We found ourselves in a big pickle one day and Trent & Pam were able to help us problem solve. We can’t express our gratitude enough for this support!!! 💗 We hope to be back again with some more family & friends!
Ista (9/5): Superb - We got 2 cottages for our family New Year reunion, both of which were beautiful. The location was lovely, with a nice sunset view. Gorgeous for couples or small families. Lovely and responsive hosts. Not that I didn't like it, I loved all of it, but one of our our cottage's bbq pit could have been a little cleaner.

The cottage had everything we could need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway and the jacuzzi tub was fantastic. It is a place that we would love to return to.

Kathy (10/5): Perfect overnight stay for our Mom and Daughter get away - The communication with the property owner was excellent, there were no surprises, the decor and art work was lovely and the kitchen was fully equipped. There was a basket with shells and rocks that had guest comments and artwork. Although not beach weather, (we were there mid October) we went to beach to find a rock to leave a message with the pen provided. We arrived on the evening of the harvest moon and it was not in our view in the evening but we woke up to view it over the ocean in front of the cottage. My sisters and I took our elderly mother with dementia on a road trip and our stay at the cottage was perfect. Our mom gave our trip a !0/10 and a good part of that goes to the accommodations.

Anne (10/5): - The cottage was so charming. Loved sitting on the deck and in the adirondack chairs right by the ocean. Nice drives along the shore, great walks, great breweries and dining. Just loved it.
Josie (10/5): Come, stay, relax and enjoy. - Beautiful view, loved the accommodations, local sand beach, and so many deer. It was so peaceful listening the the waves. Would highly recommend this as a getaway. Need to stay at least a week.
Una (8/5): Very good - Very quiet and relaxing dispite a rainy weekend. Everything you would need is in the delightful cottage to have a BBQ or cook a full meal. Our second evening we went into Clyde River to a family restaurant and enjoyed that too. We played a game around the kitchen table because the weather was so rainy and after a while the wooden chairs became uncomfortable for a few of us( probably an age thing) so cushions on the seats may have helped with that. So you can see I don't really have much to complain about.
Gwen (9/5): Superb - The location was beautiful. Deer everywhere enjoying the old apple orchard. The sunsets were amazing. The cottage had everything you need. We completely enjoyed our stay.

Nima (9/5): Clean, comfort, so much value for the money. - It worth the money for sure. Quite and calm place. We travel with a dog and she loved the place. Some lights were not working. Internet was not that good. Barbecue was not clean at all, we had to clean it before using it.

Karen (9/5): A truly relaxing place to unwind. - We liked staying somewhere so quiet all you could hear were the few sea birds. Great nights’ sleeps. It was a bit of a ways out when we didn’t understand exactly where we’d booked but you can get accustomed. We would have appreciated the “book” out on the coffee table as we didn’t find it until our second last day but when we did find it we immediately drove to the spectacular Roseway Beach!
