No signal And fridge was warm not cold Also was woke up at 6.30 by workers a tracktor or dumper. Up and down the hotel from 6.30 to about 9. Shaking the building literally. Woke ip and and couldn’t settle. And noisy was there to rest after some bad news.

Comfy beds Cons: In room 1760: shower leaked continuously after using. Wifi was dreadful. Woken each morn at 5am. Non stop trucks loading or emptying bins. So noisey, hardly slept. It was unbearably hot and stuffy (even in April). Water from all the taps was dangerously scalding hot.

- Moore72 (6/5): Almost but not quite! - I stayed for a works night out in Preston, and it had the potential to be amazing. The self check in worked very well. I stopped in the Goldfinger room which is on the ground floor. There is a bedroom with a huge bed which was extremely comfortable. This leads to a little kitchenette with a bistro table and two chairs, which then leads to the bathroom where you find a bath and separate shower. Overall the space was wonderful. What let everything down was the standard of repair. At one time this was probably amazing, but now every single wall is scuffed, every paintwork is badly damaged, kitchen cupboards are chipped. The room looks like it hasn’t been repaired or re-decorated in a couple of years which is a shame. The shower head leaks, I did manage to tighten it up so it was useable, but it still sprayed out the back. One other slight niggle is that the only plug sockets are no where near a mirror, which is very annoying when trying to dry hair. I did have a decent night’s sleep as the bed is so comfortable. It was just frustrating as this could have been amazing, but I left feeling cheated, as I paid for a luxury stay and it felt a bit shabby. The location is perfect for access to the city centre and if the owners spent a small amount of money bringing the room back up to standard it would be worth what I paid, but I paid double what my colleagues did for the Premier Inn and it wasn’t worth it. Shame.

I enjoyed all of my stay only slight problem was in the morning I could hear the upstairs moving around a lot due to a loose floorboard. But honestly thats a simple problem that can be sorted easy. - Andrew (6/5): Great location just not as advertised - Good concept and theme to the room. A little bit of luxury in a small setting. I'm really disappointed with the room, to be honest. The decor looks nice at first glance, but when you take a closer look, it's clear that the materials used were pretty cheap. Everything looks worn and tired, like it's been done on a shoestring budget. One of the biggest issues is the lack of practicality. There aren't any plug sockets that are easily accessible, which is a real pain. And when it comes to getting ready, it's even more frustrating - there's no mirror that I can use with a hairdryer. The shower is a total disaster, too. It flooded and overflowed, which is not what I expect from a place that's supposed to provide a comfortable stay. I know things might not be perfect, but I want to encourage you to do better. You've got the potential to create a really nice space, but it just needs a bit of TLC. The problem is, the current state of the room doesn't match up to what you're advertising. It feels like you've taken some cheap materials and tried to make them look expensive, but it's just not working. Even the bed, which is advertised as the world's comfiest, feels like a bit of a cheat - it's just two single beds pushed together. I want to believe that you can do better than this. With a bit of effort and better investment, this place could really shine!

Self checkin was super easy and room was made up with fresh towels on the 2nd day of my stay. Nice touch with sweets in the room and also having a little kitchen area in the suite was very useful.
- JeannetteKH (6/5): Clean comfortable room in good location but would have liked a chair to sit on. - I stayed in the Chelsea room. It was clean and well decorated and had a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge and well decorated. The small kitchen was good and had a fridge, hob, microwave and sink. It is very close to the train station and centrally located off the high street. The reason I've not rated it higher is that, whilst there was a fold up table, there wasn't a chair to sit on and the table was too far from the bed to be able to sit on the bed to eat or work at the table (I was on a business trip and needed to do some work). The bed was also too close to the kitchen so you had to squeeze through a narrow gap (a bed without the elaborate footboard would have been fine). The bathroom extraction fan was really loud and stayed on for a long time - I ended up using my phone as a torch rather than turn the light on. Also, there was a dangerous step down into the bathroom. And the window overlooked the loading bay for the adjacent shopping centre - there were two deliveries between 6.30am - 8.30am.

- Dreamer46394372806 (10/5): 10/10!! - I stayed at No.10 Preston for 10 nights and it was absolutely perfect. I stayed at their sister property and thought I would try No.10 Preston out. The room was spotless on check-in — I have OCD and genuinely could not fault it in the slightest. Everything was immaculate. The whole team are so professional, and even though it’s self check-in, they always greeted me warmly whenever I saw them. I’ve honestly never felt so looked after, even compared to fully staffed hotels. The room was serviced daily to an excellent standard, and the comfort made it difficult to leave! I’ll definitely be returning, as I have frequent work trips to Preston, and I’ll be recommending No.10 to my clients as well!! (I also did not want to leave!!!)
- Richard Paul (8/5): good comfortable place to stay, right in Preston centre - comfortable high-quality hotel standard room, with generous en-suite, and also a small but useful kitchen area with kettle, fridge and microwave check-in was initially confusing: the keypad on the front door is a bit of a puzzle: there's a helpful sign (which I eventually noticed) explaining you have to put your whole hand over the keypad to make the backlit numbers shine on - I suggest you put that detail in the text message. But it all worked fine in the end.

Walk to public car park 10 minutes - The apartment was very clean and the facilities were excellent We rang the emergency number a couple of times given but there was no reply just a message to ask us to email. We arrived in the slot time given and being two females were concerned. As stated the apartment was lovely but we did not get any sleep due the noise from the apartment underneath us whose voices we could hear. I called from our window at 4.30am and they shut the patio door which helped but eventually had to go down to the apartment to complain to them at 6am at which point all went quiet. Such a shame as I come up once a month and I really liked the facilities. I think it would be a good idea for a sign to be placed asking quests not to sit outside and have patio doors open after a certain time
