- Pamela (8/5): Not a bad place for a night's stay! - The beds were comfortable, and the front desk person was super friendly! The location was easy to get to! The fan drowned out the road noise! I had arranged for a 2pm check in. I arrived at 1:57 and no one was there. I called 5 minutes later and left a message. 5 minutes after that (I had just left!), and I receved a return call from the person on duty and she didn't know about my early check-in and was cleaning a room. SO I got my room 20 minutes late but that was OK. I ran into a HUGE spider web across my door when i left the next morning!
- Tara (2/5): - It was quiet and not too far a drive to restaurants. There was a fridge and microwave. Upon arrival there is a door bell and phone number to call so you have to wait for someone to come check you in. When we walked in the room there was an ant trap on the floor and a spiders nest in the curtains. My husband moved the curtains and the whole curtain rod came down. (twice). I tried to open a window and it fell....maybe that's the way it is designed but it fell towards the inside of the room and scared me. I caught it and put it straight up where it should have been. The vent in the bathroom ceiling was FULL of dust and dirt. There were childrens stickers stuck on the light switch. No tissues. One roll of toilet paper with no extra. Bath towels were very small. We didn't know how to work the tv and there is no phone in the room to call front desk. We slept in separate beds because everytime my husband moved the whole bed moved. It just gave us a dirty feeling. My husband wouldn't use the shower there.
- Sleep (7/5): We were busy during the days but a nice comfy quiet place to stay - Clean and very good rate
- Steve (6/5): - Average, need a place to sleep, it works.
- Sean (8/5): - The location was is very close to the Hwy 401, and it was only a 10 - 15 drive to Woodstock depending on the traffic. The location and area is very quiet! The entrance to the room did not close or lock properly, and when it came to watching TV, the controller did not work. Also, they should provide a TV/Channel Guide in the room so you know what channels work or do not work. I hated the fact that I had to go through over 200 channels to find something to watch and waste 5 - 10 minutes doing so when the channel guide would made it less frustrating. Another thing I did not like, was not being able to get a hold of anyone to fix or help out with the problem I had with the controller for the TV, and it was only 7:30 pm

- Alan (7/5): -
- Huggins (10/5): Cozy and nice - Clean and friendly
- Mark (8/5): -
- Audra (2/5): - I book for two nights and i Couldn't even stay the first night was too hot no air conditioner, bed sheets were dirty and alot of bugs in the entence way inside windows had spiders and then bugs crawling over the floor. Couldn't get more then my deposit back very unpleasant stay wouldn't recommend to anyone. Very dirty under the beds .
- Amine (8/5): - I am spending 1 night in this motel, I am traveling for work, I am very satisfied
- Andy (4/5): - It was pretty run down. No Air. Needed major upgrades
- Ryan (8/5): - Great lady at the front desk
- Alisa (7/5): The lady that greeted me was very friendly. The room was clean and updated. The bed was very conform -
- James (2/5): Terrible - Nothing Everything
- Shawn (8/5): Great staff, great convenient location, great value. Will stay again next year - Second time staying - room was renovated a bit between stays. No complaints with stay (did have a few quibbles with bathroom but left suggestions for motel to fix or address) Wifi could have been stronger, seemed to konk out a bit in middle of night (phone tried to backup, tried to watch movie when couldn’t sleep)
- ashley (10/5): - Very affordable in a quiet spot with friendly staff
- Varun (2/5): - There was no one at the reception and the parking and the road to the parking wasn’t shovelled which led to our car getting stuck and the cops had to help us getting out. I would request a refund because we had to switch to a different motel middle of the night because no one showing up at the reception and the pathetic driveway of the motel
- Zachary (1/5): Terrible service at a terrible motel. - Nothing How disrespectful they were, telling me I was banned after saying no to 650 extra after paying 638 for a couple on 1 week stay
- Ramkhelawan (6/5): Pleasant - Good place
- Patricia (6/5): - The room very cold and lots noise .
- Sukhchain (10/5): - Nice, clean place, looks recently renovated. They provided the basics, bathroom was clean, some small packets of shampoo and soap were available to use but i had brought my own toiletries. Check out was also delayed a bit, but the front desk lady was more than okay to give us some extra time to get our things. Overall for the price it's good value.
- Bunny (2/5): - I checked into this motel but couldn’t stay for more than an hour. The property felt very old and poorly maintained, with no fresh air or proper ventilation. It was suffocating, making it impossible to relax or feel comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to leave and find alternative accommodation. Definitely not worth the stay.
- Anamika (7/5): It's worth somehow according to the price on Saturday nights. - Welcoming host. The bed was not good quality. There were one more table needed. Internet and cell connection was poor.
- Edwin (8/5): Very good - Owner communicates fast if you have questions.
- Goddard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natasha (2/5): Won’t go again - The woman who came and unlocked the front to give us our key was friendly, Run down, dirty inside on the floors, bedding was poor and the beds themselves were worse.. the blinds didn’t shut entirely in any of the rooms.. no concession for drinks or snacks except for a few chocolate bars in the closed front desk…. Weird knocking noises coming from the ceiling/front of the room. Cigarette butts all over the parking lot.
- Underground (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff! Clean room. Private. Quite. Tap water from the bathroom taste better than bottled water in America, where I am from. I was pretty happy.
- Donna (10/5): - Gale was great
- Aaron (5/5): Just got out of jail or detox? - price Filthy room. Hair on sheets and in the bathroom. Boogers on the wall. all high touch areas from light switches to door frames Etc disgusting. Non smoking rooms smell like a pack a day smoker. No desk or table upon which to have dinner or breakfast or work on my laptop. The sort of Saving Grace there was the motel manager who gave me a table out of her own unit. It was a folding plastic table type thing that was sticky and dirty. gross stay.
- Jayesh (10/5): Exceptional - Great quiet place outskirts of London. Good value for price, extremely clean.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ed (4/5): - Difficulty finding my reservation causing a late check in.
- Palaniappan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff and very clean. Would stay again Could use upgraded mattresses and pillows
- Wilhelm (8/5): - Staff was very friendly with an easy check in. It was an old motel and they updating and there is more to do. We would stay there again
- Debbie (8/5): Very good - Nice and quiet
- Frederick (4/5): - Did the job
- Amos (2/5): - we were assigned to room four. Upon entering, it smelled very stale and dirty. The bedsheets didn’t appear to Have been cleaned. The old window air conditioner on the seemed to make the room warmer. there were also no curtains on the bathroom window and in the window above the air conditioner. It was not family friendly. our little baby had several bites that we were suspicious, were bedbugs, but not verified.
- Paul (4/5): If u r not picky ok staff r amazing nice - Air conditioner was so full of dirt n fluff
Took 1hr to clean
Bathroom had other persons hair
Tub was disgusting hair n blue shampoo all over
- Penny (8/5): Very clean good value - Very clean little room. A little outdated, but functional. Owner was extremely nice and waited up for me as I had a late check in.
Thanks
- Cody (8/5): - Very clean
- sara (4/5): - Front desk staff extremely nice, however the linens and towels were extremely stained, cigarette burns, bathroom tissue on the ceiling, door would not stay closed and it leads to the outside, no heat which was extremely unpleasant as we returned to our door wide open and it was a cold night. Woke up at 3am to our door blown open from the wind. No offer of a discount or partial refund. The room itself was clean and tidy.
- Dan (3/5): We try to support small businesses. Not all have the same standards of living. Lesson learned. - Location was fine. No breakfast. It was clean. The lady looking after the place was helpful. She worked miracles with what should be considered a dump. That was the end of what we liked. The original room had issues with plumbing. This room was offered instead. They said the only difference was that the floor was damaged. Not so. It was overall run down. We repaired the towel bar. The room was cold and smelled of old tobacco. They supplied a small heater. Had to clean and air everything out when I got home. My nose and throat are still recovering. We were not told of the cold or the smell. The owners felt it wasn’t an issue. They were courteous but cunning on the phone.
- Keith (8/5): - The room was very cold, even with the space heater staff provided. I stayed fully dressed with my winter coat on, until I went to bed. Bed table light burnt out or not working. No microwave instructions or microwave not working.
- Timothy (9/5): Superb - clean fresh rooms right off the 401 no coffee maker in room
- BONITA (4/5): - very cheap quality, rough finish. though the woman was very nice and helpful
- Dale (7/5): Good - I couldn't sign up ro the wifi
- Jackie (10/5): - It was great clean and peaceful
- Lance (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tim (4/5): Was disappointing. - Good location Was given a 'not complete' room, feel like the room just done renovation, but not ready stay.
- Painting smell or moisture smell
- No Blindfold in bathroom
- Floor wasn't clean, few place you can even see your footprint
- Flies in the room.
I traveled a lot, stayed at different road-side motels. So I don't often expect too much. I only want the room at least not too dirty and not having any bugs. But this stay here, was really disappointing. I might be unlucky, but hopefully the motel could improve later.
- Timothy (8/5): Older rural motel, well maintained, quiet and pleasant, with friendly people. - Clean, quiet rooms, pleasantly furnished, with comfortable mattresses, good-quality linens, and friendly staff, in a picturesque rural location near two expressways. Microwave & refrigerator in rooms, both in good working order. An older motel, recently renovated and well maintained. The property has no restaurants and only one gas station within walking distance. You will need a vehicle to stay here. The small city of Woodstock is about five minutes away by car.
- George (4/5): - Lots of house flys in room.
Over all the room was dirty.
TV was not working with remote.
- Doug (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (8/5): Great price and very nice -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cynthia (5/5): met my basic needs - price was right door was difficult to get to stay closed/locked, minimal tv stations
- lyfebehindbars (2/5): Avoid unless you want a miserable night - There is dark, dingy and clean, then there is dark, dingy and dirty.
The place was not clean enough. You could see remnants of the previous guests on the sheets.
TV remote didn’t work and TV had later of grease on it.
The rate of C$89 plus the $100 deposit is ridiculously overpriced and steep for this place.
I put towels on the pillowcase and simply could not get to sleep.
Then there is hardly any light in there so you can’t see well enough. Even 3 of the 4 sink bulbs were blown.
Holes in the bathroom wall and rails almost falling off.
Pictures taken
Try up the road to Tulip instead, it looked better. I passed it to grab something to eat and regretted my decision right away. I wish I had seen Tulip first
- Mesileya (9/5): Superb -
- Becky (7/5): Good -
- Carmen (2/5): - Omg worst ever. Door handle moved around, place needs a lot of work. Tower rack had a screw out and duck tape as weather stripping. Hole in the blankets and mattress would need to be replaced , you can feel the springs.
- Michael (10/5): - Pleasant surprise, small but very clean and quite cosy room, good mattress. Will stay again.
- Dweebix (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly staff. Rooms are cleaned daily. Quiet area and close to the highway. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Very affordable prices. Will continue to come back.. Not a big deal but the night stands beside the bed are quite small and gives you very little room to put anything on.
- Jason (5/5): Won't come back again - Location and price Room too cold, bed not clean
- Paulo (8/5): Solo trip - Room was too cold, curtains in room were see through, no curtain in washroom, so at night someone could peak at window and see, bed was just ok. If you can get around these things room was clean and affordable.
- Gabriela (4/5): Rating: One step above camping - The proprty owners do not plow the parking lot. If I hadn't been driving a truck, I would've gotten stuck in the snow. It wasn't until I complained to another guest that she grabbed a shovel and cleaned up around my truck so I could get out OK the next morning. I have a feeling she was staff.
The baseboard heater cover in the washroom was off. The toilet seat was burned and scratchy. The furniture was falling apart, there were boot imprints on the inside of the door. The remote control for the TV didn't work. The control for heat in the room was so old that I was afraid it would break if I touched it. At best, this property is one step above camping.
- Carolyn (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE. We paid and left. The room was so disgusting that we could not stay. I have never done that before, and I’ve stayed at some questionable places in Nashville and Niagara. Floor boards separating. Walls dented. Tape on the door. Smelled like mildew and smoke. Can’t believe they would even rent out a room like that to anyone. Just deplorable conditions.
- Gagandeep (8/5): Very good -
- Patrizia (4/5): - The outdoors greenspace
- sandrine (2/5): AWFULL 😡 - UNSANITARY!! all dirty, broken ! noisy !
- Carol (10/5): - It was just outside of the busy city and hassle-free. The folks who run the motel are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thankyou.
- Richard (4/5): - I had room number 6 and it was filthy. I found tin foil and a cigarette under the bed and the beside table had something spilled on it which had not been cleaned.
The fitted and flat sheet both had cigarette burns in them. The floor needs to be replaced as well as the heating system.
I would not stay there again.
- John-gult (10/5): Eastwood motel out of town get away - They were very accommodating and understood what I needed. Kept it simple and made sure I had the Wi-Fi password. Place was clean, and warm as it’s getting to be winter that is nice. Wore mask and kept distance.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Bed bugs and other bites found on hand and back of my wife
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean pleasant staff excellent parking close to highway
- Paulina (2/5): - Website says $10 Canadian pet deposit. Upon arrival they charged me $50, which I questioned but was to tired to disputed. It has been 2 weeks and they have yet to refund deposit. I have called and they keep saying their boss will call me back, and they “don’t know when they will be in.” Rooms weren’t bad for the price, but I wouldn’t recommend staying there to anyone.
- Shawn (6/5): Bates - Meh... Beds are rough, broken table, broken room phone, non smoking room smelled like a ashtray, wasnt cleaned that well
- Mike (8/5): Clean and affordable - Clean and affordable. WIFI wasnt great and only a couple tv stations. But the fridge and microwave were a nice touch.
Room was warm when we showed up at approximately 1am. Rang the bell and had service in minutes. If clean and inexpensive is more important than modern and fancy this was a great option.
Will stay there again when im in the Brantford area
- Kim (6/5): - Staff was friendly, room needed some tlc. Over all as clean as any hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - nice quiet motel in country. staff very nice. there is a certain charm to this place that makes up for the no frills, plus you can’t beat the price. I went jogging down the country roads and within a couple blocks saw a beautiful horse ranch, historic church, and farm with roadside vegetable stand.
- Juliana (10/5): - Great location, easy to find, close to highway and town.
- Sarah (2/5): - nothing. they took my money even though I tried to cancel. Greedy.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Eye sore. Dive motel. Outdated, dirty. Sheets and pillowcases had stains. No A/C which made for a very uncomfortable stay. The TV is same age as the motel. This room was $90. But not worth a penny over $50
- J Jeffrey (4/5): EAstwood Hotel - Check in was great, as it has been in the past. Bed was uncomfortable, TV was extremely small, bathroom in need of some repair and entire room could have been cleaner. Overall I suppose OK value for the money paid.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean and quiet. I would stay their again. Tv has guide remote
- Kate (8/5): - Good place to stay when you need a pillow and a bed. Basic room with fridge and a/c.
- Verified traveler (4/5): No motels - A/C was the window kind and in the bathroom. Took all night to cool down.
- sylvia (4/5): - nothing like the picture it was smelly and uncomfortable mini fridge with nothing in no water no cup to drink not going there again
- jeremysK4729QP (10/5): Clean and quiet place to stay - I stayed over the May long weekend. It was a very quiet and relaxing stay. It was a few minutes drive away from all restaurants in town. The room and bathroom looked updated. Check in was quick. Would definitely come back if in the area.
Keep up the great work guys!
- Anthony (10/5): Very cozy and comfortable - I'll stay here again.
- Toe1990 (10/5): Like a Home Away from Home - The owner and his wife are amazing! Very accommodating and friendly. They make sure their guests are taken care of and comfortable. We have stayed there on many occasions and have enjoyed every stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and spacious. Thank you so much for making us feel at home!
- 158kristam (10/5): Clean and updated - Very quiet and cozy motel. Room was clean and updated. Bed was comfy. Had a good nights sleep :)
The owner was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed.
Several places nearby to eat. Couldn't ask for more.
- IamTdot (2/5): Dirty room. Be cautious. - Let me begin by saying I really wasn't expecting much. This motel is kind of out of the way and often used for people working away from home. I was booked to stay here 3 nights while working in Paris ON. I checked in, took the key and went to the room so I could drop my things and head to work. I opened the door and an odd smell hit me. I walked over to the chair to put my bag down and saw some nasty staining on it, so set my bag on the floor. A quick inspection showed dust under the tv so thick you could write in it, dirt on the floor, mold in the refridgerator, and mildew in the bathroom. I sat down on the bed and the squeaking and groaning from it resonated throughout the room. I can only imagine if I had been laying down that every movement would create a symphony. I grabbed my things and put them back in the vehicle and went to work for the evening. When I was done I stopped back into the motel and explained I wasn't happy with the condition of the room. The person staffing the reception had to come to the room as she didn't believe me that the place was that dirty. Upon showing her she said that the rooms are cleaned after each guest and then touched up before any new guests if needed so she wasn't sure why my room wasn't as clean as normal. I felt like she was implying that I left it that way even though the dust was obviously a long time accumulation. She did take me back to the office and we tried another room. Though not as dirty, it still had mildew and smelled funny. I turned my keys in and declined to spend the night instead I opted to travel back and forth. They don't typically refund after check in, but recommended I contact my booking company and they would refund my stay. I certainly appreciated that given the circumstances.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean hotel friendly staff
Good location .......................
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was what it was for the price, but the cobwebs in the corners and spiders over the doorway left something to be desired. There was a definite attempt to rejuvenate with new furniture, it was uncomfortable and fulfilled no useful purpose other than taking up space
- shawn (4/5): no beat and room was freezingt - everything was goid exvept for the temperature of the room. it was ijust as cold inside as it was outside tho thue owner told me the room ran on a boiler and wouldnt be on till oct 1
- William (8/5): Nothing special, but well worth the small price. - Room was newly renovated. New air conditioning, bathroom, windows. Basic amenities but sufficient for a place to sleep.
