- Carol (10/5): Quiet, clean and good location - Lovely room, bathroom clean and bright. Nice we got tea, coffee, bread, lots of butter, jams milk. Was a shame as booked a family room because husband snores but only got bedding for upstairs double bed. Great friendly welcome. WIFI worked well. Quiet so worked well for us. Only problem was the lack of extra bedding. Booked family room because of extra bed. Think they thought because married couple wouldn’t need it and I hadn’t thought to ask.

- Zoe (8/5): - Lovely place to stay Cute room with many facilities ...beautiful wooden cabin number 10 Microwave AND hob, fridge with milk, juice & spreads/butter which was generous The bed wasn't the greatest, standard double as opposed to King with a mediocre mattress I'm a fan of feather pillows and duvet with 100% cotton sheets Sadly this was a synthetic duvet with polycotton covers The shower was a horror! No constant comfortable temp....literally a choice of scalding or cold 🙁

- Mcann (10/5): Ich würde das Hotel jeden weiter empfehlen der auf Ruhe und eine freundliche Umgebung hofft - Einfach alles war sehr schön ich bin so froh das ich das Motel gebucht habe!! Meine Kinder hatten Riesen Spaß am Abend keinen hat es gestört wenn sie mal bisschen länger draußen waren!das Haus war sehr sauber und ein kleines Frühstück perfekt für meine Kinder war auch bereit gestellt worden! Das einzige was nicht sehr gut war waren die better😂die better waren nicht bequem Und es gab keine Waschmaschine… zumindest wurde mir das nicht gesagt das es welche gibt und ich die benutzen kann das wäre wirklich wichtig gewesen für mich

- MISS S (10/5): - We booked to stay for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. We needed to arrive quite late and this was accomodated really well. The only downside was that the chalet was really warm, but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we revisit the area.
- Kelly (9/5): Really good value for money. Perfect location with a chippy just 5 mins walk away and a lovely location to work remotel - The whole place was lovely. It was quiet and I had to work and the internet was a dream! Really enjoyed it, I stayed with my 2 daughters! Would have liked free view TV. We were there to work and school so the evenings were spent inside so it would have been good to have some on demand channels.

- Hayley (8/5): Cozy and relaxing week in the forest - Had everything we needed for a weeks stay, it was great to be able to cross the road and be straight into the forest - the staff happily sorted us out with more pans to cook with when we asked! Breakfast bits were appreciated (bread, butter, jam, milk, cereals). We don't drive, and we were able to access the property via train to Tunbridge Wells and then getting the 1066 bus. We also ordered an ASDA delivery in with no hassle! Wifi was pretty slow. We did request one of the rooms with a double bed and a sofa, but instead had two double beds, which for a weeks stay made things a bit cramped and had no sofa to sit on. Also, the blinds in our cabin were a bit temperamental and awkward to shut - some didn't close all the way down, which didn't feel the most private.

- Joorford (7/5): Convenient for the wedding we were attending. - Nice choice of cereals for breakfast along with a loaf of bread and plenty of milk, butter and spreads, tea and coffee. It was clean and beds were comfortable. Entrance is easy to miss could be better signage, and is on a very busy road so difficult to turn around if you do miss it. A sofa bed would have been a better option in the room as we had a lodge with 2 double beds in there was nowhere other than the bed or the dining chairs to sit which wasn’t very comfortable. I couldn’t use the steam iron as it was spitting out limescale and black bits when on steam setting. Also the table top ironing board did not stay up so couldn’t be used.

- John (10/5): East Sussex getaway - Everything went well, from check in to departure 2 nights later. Cabin was in a secluded area of the complex with everything in you could want. Comfy bed and pilllows, good shower and toilet facilities and seating area with TV and internet. Kitchen well appointed and comfy dining chairs, biggest surprise was the inclusion of breakfast ingredients. Cereals, bottle of milk and a loaf of toastie bread all included. Very pleased with our experience, we’d book again. Not a lot.

When I booked breakfast I thought this would include breakfast prepared for us. Instead it means some cereal and a loaf of bread in your room. This was a little disappointing and had I realised this I wouldn't have bothered with breakfast.
- Sophie (8/5): Really cosy and comfortable quiet cabin, if the shower worked properly it would have been a 10/10 - The property was lovely and clean, nice to have a selection of breakfast and drinks included, and even though it’s near a busy road, I could barely hear it. Sadly the shower kept going from too hot to too cold, and after a cold night out at nearby Bedgebury Christmas walk it would have been nice to have come back to have a hot shower.

Perfect location for my work at Bewl Water. Lovely lodge with a layout that managed to feel both cosy and roomy. Clean, warm, comfortable, great shower. Just perfect! If I was being really picky the lighting in the kitchen area wasn't great, yet it was fine for what I needed

Only problem was lack of WiFi. Although password given, there was no wifi to log in to.

Cabin had everything we needed (family of four) with plenty of room to move about. Cabin was lovely and warm, and the blackout blinds work a treat to keep it dark at night. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if visiting the area. Mattress on bed was softer than we would like. Would have been great to be able to recycle our cardboard, plastic waste etc we had during our stay. We couldn't see any recycling bins but would be very keen to recycle if offered.

- David (9/5): Weekend at Forest Edge Motel - Well fitted out cabins which serve their purpose very well Exit/ entrance to property....not the fault of the owner of course. More a roads/transport issue - vehicles fly up and down this road. This can be quite hairy at times.

- Nicola (9/5): Lovely accommodation with some extra touches and great value for money. - The cabin was cosy and clean and it was a lovely touch having a loaf of bread, a 4 pint of milk, orange juice and cereals waiting for us on arrival. There was also some menus for local takeaways which was also appreciated. The cabin was well equipped and we were able to prepare a meal and enjoy it. There was also soaps and mini shampoos and towels to which we wasn’t expecting. We really enjoyed our stay and would revisit in future. The accommodation met all our needs and we really enjoyed our stay. As much as I hate to comment on Wi-Fi as you don’t go away for that, it’s become such an expectation to have wi-fi that you notice it when it’s not up to scratch and that’s probably the only slight issue we had. We wasn’t able to connect to the wi-fi but it wasn’t hugely inconvenient but was the only thing I “didn’t like” but not enough that I wouldn’t stay again 😊

- Shana (9/5): A fabulous clean quiet place to stay - Extremely clean, came with all the little things you need to make your stay comfortable eg hand soap, Sponge and washing up liquid. There was even a fan which was fab because it was a hot day. Rooms were soundproofed, which was great as we have small children. There was nothing that we didn't like although if we had to choose something, it is a quiet location maybe not ideal for small children to run around.
