- Katharina (9/5): Ausschlafen liegt nicht drin, aber das Essen ist sehr gut - Wir wählten dieses Hotel, da wir Chablis und Auxerre erkunden wollten. Nahe an der Autobahn und doch im Grünen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich ( vor allem auch im Restaurant). Das Essen hat uns überzeugt, wir haben nicht viel vergleichbares auswärts gefunden. Uns war nicht bewusst, dass dieses Hotel eher ein „Durchfahrtshotel“ ist. Daher herrschte jeden Morgen viel Unruhe, die Leute waren früh auf den Beinen und da das Gemäuer des Hotels sehr lautdurchlässig ist und somit sehr hellhörig, war an Ausschlafen nicht zu denken.

Nice to have outdoor access from our room, which was tremendously helpful travelling with our dog, also really handy for loading and unloading the car. Lots of open space to walk the dog. Outstanding restaurant attached to the hotel. Staff really friendly and helpful. Room larger than average and a huge huge advantage with the dog. Room somewhat basic and dated, but this may have been because we were in a pet friendly room.

It was a lovely location close to the autoroute (but still quiet!). It was all good, but most outstanding aspect was the quality of the evening meal in the restaurant. It was excellent and to be recommended.

The restaurant was a joy and a surprise. Small menu but who knew it would be the best meal Of the holiday (after eating many great meals in Provence!). All regional produce beautifully prepared and presented. I cannot rate this lovely family run hotel highly enough.

The hotel is quiet and the family room set-up is excellent with two single beds on a mezzanine level (note the staircase is quite steep). The room was very clean and well-equipped. Just one comment - a clearly marked guide on how to use the aircon would be useful, if there was one we missed it. Room was a little warm because we didn't figure out the aircon, everything else was excellent. Thanks!

Very nice staff and excellent dinner. It lacks a proper lounge /bar area and the glass atrium lobby is very HOT and not great as only lounge area.

- Lisa (8/5): A haven on a tough day. - We were late arriving but communication with the hotel was brilliant and the welcome even after reception had closed was wonderful, they had left very clear instructions and a heart warming note. Beds and room were wonderful I was just sorry that we were too late for dinner. I was also so impressed that they gave our family (of 5) two adjoining rooms which happens less often than you would expect and the bed layout was so logical and suitable which again doesn't happen as often as you would think. You could feel the human touch in every aspect of our stay. It was all great, I just can't comment on dinner or breakfast as we didn't partake but next time we will ensure we arrive earlier for the full experience.

Large family room with double bed and 2 twin beds. Twin beds in a loft space which was great. Good A/C, WiFi and excellent shower. We had a lovely Dinner in the Restaurant with a bottle of wine from Auxerre region. Decent Breakfast in the morning. Good secure Parking. Quiet rural location. Friendly helpful staff. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
