- F (10/5): Great location, good sized rooms. - Really nice hotel in a great location. The staff had good English, making check-in easy (we arrived at 6AM). Breakfast buffet was loud, overly busy with so-so food options. Staff were ok, but not interested in the little things, like “can I get some black tea?” (no). They damaged our luggage and didn’t care at all.

- Susan (7/5): Clean and spacious hotel in a great location but unfriendly staff and very low grade breakfast. - Terrific location just out of Sapa town, a 5 minute walk down (10mins back given the hills). Rooms were really spacious and very clean. Staff were less than friendly, some plain old rude, especially the man that was guarding the breakfast door. We were travelling with 3 children (7, 10 and 12) and one of the draw cards was the fact that the hotel had a pool but the pool is only open from 6am to 9am and then 4pm to 8pm. So during the day there was no option at all. The morning hours clashed with breakfast time for our family so we missed that slot and then usually of an evening we were out at dinner, so again missed that time slot. Pool is also so heavily chlorinated my kids had sore eyes and there was lots of rules about what you could not do - no jumping at all (guards on duty to ensure this is followed). The breakfast was OK but only just, very limited options and poor quality from what we tried. The egg station was ok though and the egg chef helpful. Make sure you’re there well before they close breakfast at 9am as they start packing up about 15mins beforehand and there is no option to extend.

Extremely noisy all the time, they need to tell the male tour guides to stop yelling. very little English. Breakfast was very average if you wanted basic western food, coffee was cold, juice containers empty. This is a 2.5 star motel. Overrated and overprice. If you want a comfortable couples motel Don’t Stay here !!!

- Cassandra (10/5): Beautiful views overlooking Sapa - We loved the indoor pool, it would have been more convenient if it opened earlier but we were grateful for the access to it regardless. We enjoyed the pho for breakfast and we were in quite a useful location. The views from the balcony were absolutely stunning. The pool access hours, it really should be available from 10am - 8pm like a normal hotel. The hotel is very busy on weekends until early Sunday afternoon.

- 369henrid (6/5): Rooms ok, friendly staff, lots of Vietnamese tourists - We stayed here for 3 nights. Staff is friendly. Some speak a decent word of English. Breakfast is ok. Coffee undrinkable. What we disliked the most in the hotel are the Vietnamese tourist. We were the only Europeans and the Vietnamese tourists are very loud. In the pool but most annoyingly near the rooms. Loud voices (shouting), Nerf gun fights, etc. We had two really bad nights. The town of Sapa is not very nice. Very touristic with dancing children for money in market… not our thing. It’s a bit of a circus. We loved the hikes in the rice fields. Your guide was nice and the scenery stunning! Expect that when “sherpas” walk with the guided tour that your are supposed to buy something. A bit of a let down but hey. We spend €14 on 4 items. Would we do Sapa again? Yes! Would we spend less time in the town? Yes!

The room was difficult to navigate as the bed was strange, you could not walk around the bed there was like a shelf built around it. The bed was extremely hard and not comfortable at all, so I found it difficult to sleep. Our room had a balcony but it was strange that there was only 1 chair, so 2 people could not sit our side together Our holiday was book through Trip A Deal.

- lete1204 (2/5): Terrible - I had to write this review because I don’t want others to travel all the way here to experience what I did. The room is just a room, clean enough and the view is fine, but the beds are rock solid hard, I tried 4 different rooms and the beds are all the same. The hotel staff are aware of it and thought it was a joke and so did our tour guide from Trip a deal. Haha nope not funny at all. I resorted to having 3 extra quilts and 4 pillows to lay on, but it made no difference. It was like sleeping on concrete. I could not participate in the activities given the lack of sleep sore back and neck. I wanted you to change hotels at midnight it was so bad. If you like a rock solid hard bed this might suit you, but I like my bed medium.

Staff were very helpful and friendly They don’t advertise that the pool is only open from 4pm-8pm - not exactly a useable facility. The pool is also completely enclosed - windows often shut so condensation is very bad like being in a sauna. Beds were rock hard not comfortable to sleep in at all. Breakfast was very disappointing - we arrived at 8am to find no fruit, pastry’s or juices left and when the chef was asked for more fruit they only brought out a plate of watermelon. We did complain to staff who dealt with it very fairly and gave us a refund.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel but not really 4 star - The staff was very helpful. Hotel was located quite close to the town Centre, but now directly at its heart. There is a street of massage outlets on the way to the hotel, so you can have a late night massage. The hotel staff is unable to help book a transfer from Hanoi, so you have to do it yourself. Although it is rated 4 star, the facilities do not live up to expectations. I would rate it 3 star (international standards), but I it is quite a plush hotel by Vietnam standards.

The pool was dirty and the rooms were not sound proof. House keeping work is up at 7.45am to clean our room which was just ridiculous.

- Sung In (8/5): - The location of the hotel is removed from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town so it feels peaceful and quiet, but it still easily walkable to restaurants and shops. The room was large and bright and amenities were adequate. The buffet breakfast has fairly standard options with a range of Vietnamese and Western dishes. Overall the value for money at this hotel is decent and I would stay here again.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - The room was excellent, The view was spectacular, it was far enough away from town to still walk and see everything but high up so you got the impact of the views. The shower leaked onto the floor, a design issue but only complaint we could find.
- Ria (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel staff is very helpful. Anna, the Front Office Manager, has been an absolute delight! Our stay was very comfortable. The location is perfect. Gives you a view of the gorgeous valley and mountains, plus is at a walkable distance from the centre. Should have more breakfast options. At least one item to cater to Indian visitors as the booking was done much in advance. On the weekend, there were fruits served, which reduced to only oranges and dragon fruit on Mondays. Being a vegetarian, that was one thing I didn't want. The pillows in the room are very soft and not very comfortable for people with cervical conditions.
