• John (2/5): - Tiny loft room with the most noisy air con in the world it was like having a bus in your room impossible to sleep
• Geoffrey (4/5): - The location is great, as it is close to local restaurant and the pier for island tour. The room that I stayed in was dirty and it has a smell. Insects is all over the bathroom and had a hard time sleeping at night as people outside is too loud. Overall, the location is great, but not satisfy with the room.

• Tineke (8/5): - The staff are amazing, super friendly. It’s hard to rate this place low when the staff are just so darn friendly. But reality is we were there for four nights . First night power outage on the first floor, the manager so kindly moved us to the second floor to a bigger room with no extra charge. Second night there was again a power outage at about 3 am, which we woke up to dyeing from the heat . Third night there was a city issue with the water, so there was no shower available during the morning, but around 3 pm we came back and water was there That’s 3 out of 4 nights that something went wrong. However the staff are MORE than accommodating. We order bikes through them, with no issues at all, great mopeds and no one tried to rip us off or over charge us. They did our laundry as well for a great price. I would say we are rather high maintenance guests. If we have an issue we will address it, each time the staff where honest and more then apologetic, explaining they had an electrician coming, or the city water problem. No bugs in the room, and the ac worked great. We would stay again, even with the power issues. It was a good location, and it felt safe and secure. The staff really make the difference here. We never tried the pool, and we never tried the restaurant attached. Wifi worked great. Ac worked great. Good water pressure
• 399aileena (10/5): HIGHLY RECOMMEND - They have great accomodations, professional staff and we'll treatment to the guests💙🫶 the breakfast that they offer was so amazing too, they have the touch of Filipino and Korean food also good for Asians 😊I am 100% sure you guys will not get disappointed if you try the hotel and food of sanho pension 🙏
• Sting (4/5): - I didn't get my 1000 pesos hotel deposit because nobody was around in the morning. I had to leave for airport and I didn't get my 1000 back
• Dennim (8/5): Amazing staff and great location - I cannot say enough about the staff at this location. Jenny was amazing, my husband ended up in rhe hospital. She had a staff memeber drive her and i there and she stayed with me the entire time. The room is basic but has all the necessitys (fridge,a/c, shower). Room was clean and housekeeping cleaned daily if requested.
• Abraam (10/5): - This is a pension/backpacker hotel/hostel style accomodation, and as such my expectations were low. When we arrived the check in process was painless, the staff friendly and helpful and the room had clean sheets and AC that worked, which is the best you could possibly hope for! Having your own private bathroom in a hotel like this is a luxury as well. There is a dive tour business with the same name that appears to be attached to this hotel, and the gear storage in the room seemed purpose built for storing dive gear, but even without booking dive tours the room was a nice place to return to at the end of a long day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again!
• Alycia (2/5): - This is a one star hotel. Not a 3 star. Electricity went out for hours and they laughed when I asked when it’d go back on. The bathroom flooded into the main room. Not worth the money we paid
• J C (6/5): Handy location for boat trips. - Only a one night stay for us. Reasonably quiet & handy if going on boat trips. Nothing outstanding but not terrible however “balcony” unusable due to design. Breakfast fine (standard). Wifi not great.
• QTB (10/5): - Arrived to Coron later in the evening and it was dark so was not sure what to expect. Checked into Sanho and was a little underwhlemed. Cleaned the room a little and made it our own and ended up really liking it in the end. I am not much of a backpaker (I prefer 5 star boutique hotels) but came to realize that this is not easy to find in the Philippines as an overall. The breakfast at the Sanho was great. Staff was friendly, they cleaned your room everyday and changed the towels which was nice ! Monster bar is a night time hot spot and the location was good as you were a little further from the heart of town but still very close. I would definitely stay here again.

• Daniel (8/5): Good stay for the price - It is a pension house so I wasn’t expecting much. This place is clean, has great a/c. And hot water for showering. That is all i expected. It is also a short walk from all the boat tours in the morning. The only negatives are the mattresses are a bit stiff and the wifi doesn’t work a lot of the time. But again, based on the price and expectations I had it was a great stay.

• CKScubalife (8/5): Great staff, comfy room, nice breakfast. - Nice location an easy walk from the boarding location for tours and also to many eateries. Friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast with a lovely view, comfortable room with good AC, fan, hot water and decent WiFi. We would definitely stay here again
• Christopheroon (6/5): Average - This pension house is located within walking distance to the pier where most tour boats dock. There is also a convenience store nearby but closes at 5pm. Not many restaurants close by so you have to take a tricycle. P10 per passenger. Nothing much to do during evenings as Coron is a small town. Most of the cafes, food joints are located nearby within 15 to 20mins ride. Also possible to walk but I didn't try as the weather was rainy then. Don't do a city tour coz it's a real waste of money. You can actually explore by your own. If you do intend to go to the hot springs, just rent a tricycle for p250 to p300 roundtrip. However please do book the Coron Utimate tour if it's your 1st time. The rooms were so-so. Not really clean as in the housekeeping staff weren't attentive. There were minor faults in the bathroom though, like the floor drain was clogged up. Breakfast is included with the room rate and you have to order the night before. The Wi-Fi strength depends on which room you reside. The further away from the lobby or staircase, the weaker your signal. Nothing much to shout about, just good enough for a sleep over. Rate is considered little high compared to the other hotels in coron.. perhaps it's targeted for the Koreans that's why. Next time in Coron, will try somewhere else instead.
• sandraescultora (10/5): "GOOD STAY" - The rooms are clean and all staff are good, there's a mini fridge inside the room, hot & cold shower and also air condition, also they serve a good and Delicious breakfast. The staff is so kind and helpfull that they make it a happy stay.
• V6857PNjustinl (10/5): Nice and cheap pension - This pension has good basic service such as fast WIFI and hot water and comfort room which is essential for divers. I got my Open Water course in here. The pension is really close to port that I can save and I can shower as soon as I've done my diving. And the pension running many and clean banca boats. The instructors taught me with gentle and kindness explaining. Recommend for beginner divers.
• Floyd (6/5): Great staff and good WiFi at the restaurant. - The room was overbooked and we were walked over to another hotel for the first night with an inferior room to the one we booked. The WiFi is unusable, unless you walk upstairs to the restaurant. Loved the staff!
• floyda18 (8/5): Overbooked, but Taken Care Zby Staff - I spent the first night at Jasmines in a room that turned out not to be so nice as the Sanho. The rooms are great here - really clean. The shower is not hot, but who cares in Coron. The WiFi in the room is unusable like almost everywhere else. Just go upstairs to the restaurant and you have fast WiFi. The staff is so kind and helpful that they make it a happy stay.
• Eva (10/5): Super nice - The room was super nice, and the AC worked really well. I Was pleasantly surprised by the location's proximity to the public market, one of Coron town's main attractions. The staff was nice, but they will only take cash at the hotel for additional purchases, including scuba diving, which was a little annoying (they wouldn't take paypal). Also the bathroom had a little bit of a musty smell and the paint on the ceiling was chipping, but they had hot water and everything was nice and the included breakfast was amazing, so I really have no complaints.
• LEMUEL LIBETA (8/5): Smazing hotel at the price - We were at the ground floor so it was noisy. The place is not so far fr town center so it is accessible but near the public market where one can buy anything including fruits and seafoods. The hotel has its restaurants but you hav to place your order hours or a day before including the free breakfast. The service staff are courteous and accommodating.
• LilyMaria127 (2/5): Rude and unpleasant staff - I often felt the staff were being rude on purpose to prove some kind of point? There's a fridge for drinks where we conveniently bought water located in the lobby right by reception. But whenever we got some water out and took it to the desk to pay, there were always 2 or 3 young staff members playing games on their phones, giggling at something on the screen or chatting. There was never anyone else around and it was obvious from the noise we made in the quiet lobby that someone was there and yet they didn't acknowledge us for ages. Often we'd stand there money in hand waiting for them to pay us attention. Once I considered just walking away seemingly without paying to get their attention! And then they'd look up and just go "yes?" as if we were annoying them. They also tried to make us pay the deposit twice as another reviewer has commented on. However once we told the girl that it was HER who asked for it in the first place and she can check the camera if she wanted she let it go with a huff and puff. Breakfast service was also bad. Plonking down cutlery and plates and shooting us dirty looks without saying anything when we asked for something that was missing. Hotel room itself was poor value - we've had way better rooms for less the price in Palawan. Shower was often cold and spluttered. If you go on any boat tours don't bother paying for trikes or transport. It's a rip off - the boat dock for day tours is right next door!
• josephineb528 (10/5): Truly the best accommodation in Coron - This place is close to everything and aside from the delicious breakfast and amazing view, they know how to take care of PWDs like me and my senior citizen mom(71years old). Thank you Ms Ah Young Kim for always considering our needs. The rooms are big and clean. The aircon is just cool and new and the bathroom is big. My mom's first trip abroad became so convenient thanks for all your help.
• charleyymillerr (2/5): AVOID!!!! Accused of stealing - despicable treatment! - If we could rate this hotel lower then we would. The AC blew out only hot air, the shower head was strapped on with a plaster so the water went everywhere, the tap was broken... and that was the best part! We were absolutely disgusted by the service we were given at this hotel. Upon check in we were asked to give a 500peso deposit, we gave them 1000pesos and they gave us 500 change. My partner remembered giving the lady the money and then watching her struggle with the lock of the money box. I even wrote on our check in slip that we gave 500 pesos when we handed it over, as we had no receipt off them (very unprofessional. Since that 1000 was all the money we had left we used the remaining 500 to get a coffee before heading to find a cash machine. When we returned that evening a lady in reception asked us to pay the deposit, to which we confusingly told her we already did. The following morning as we checked out the two ladies at reception were talking under their breath and giving us dirty looks (again very unprofessional) and when my partner asked if there was an issue they proceeded to tell us that we didn’t give the 500 deposit. The lady who was accusing us was the SAME lady who originally took the money from us. Shocking! We’ve travelled around Asia for 3 months and no where has treated us as they did here. We’re guessing it’s some sort of scam in order to keep the 500 pesos for themselves. However we were not falling for it! They may think it’s petty change but to us backpackers, 500 pesos is a lot!!
• ssam86 (10/5): This place where one can learn to dive properly - Enjoy safe diving with trusted trainers and plenty of guide. Also all staff are friendly, responsible and always pleasant. When you stay this pension house, actually rooms are normal and the biggest drawback is that meal is so delicious(when you use diving package, include meal) that it can not go to another restaurant in Coron. If you want good diving and satisfied trip, select this pension.
• BeachesBeGood (6/5): Water Woes - Had it not been for the water woes, I would've rated this place higher. The breakfast isn't bad and the wifi is pretty good. However, every shower I had ended with no hot water or no water at all. Each time it was quickly fixed, which tells me it's a known issue. They promised to fix it each day, and the hot water did seem to be fixed after the first day. But when the water shuts off it doesn't matter if the hot water machine works. I asked to speak with the manager about this, but curiously one was never able to meet with me.
