• G.Toner (10/5): A unintended pit stop at a pwrfe t place! - We were in the middle of a marathon 7 hour drive to Skye when our designated driver needed a rest. We booked the Atholl apartment last minute, and when I say last minute, I mean we pulled into a layby on the motorway and within 15 mins we were there. We were greeted so warmly by the lovely lady at reception, despite the late hour (7.30 pm) and our unexpected arrival. She even recommended a wonderful place to eat just 2 mins walk up th road - the food was amazing (definitely recomend the lunguini) and with a card she gave us, we each recieved a taster glass of wine on arrival at the restaurant. The apartment was faultless - welcoming, clean, quiet, warm and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect, just a short walk from all manner of restaurants and shops on the stunningly pretty highstreet. And the Scottish breakfast was delicous. We will definitely be back and cant recommend it enough! N/a

• Katja (10/5): Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt! - Wir wurden super herzlich, warm und liebevoll empfangen. Unser Auto hatte einen super Parkplatz Alles wird mit Kameras überwacht. Unser Zimmer (Nr 12) fühlte sich an wie ein Turmzimmer, war es wohl auch. Alles war so liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ganz neu. Alles was man braucht war dort. Das Frühstück war ein Traum, wir konnten vorher auswählen was wir wollten. Einfach ein Traum! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Pitlochry, Aberfelby und die ganze Umgebung sind es wert, mehrere Tage zu bleiben. In der Unterkunft war einfach alles perfekt!

• Louise (10/5): One bed apartment - I booked a night away to treat my friend for her birthday. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment which had a king size bed and two singles. The room was huge. The whole apartment was absolutely spotless, in a great location and so roomy. It had it's own parking space and our own entry too. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and plentiful. Nothing

Immacualte garden and large parking area. My room was spotless. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful, using delicious local produce. I could not fault Atholl Villa Guest House. My stay was perfect!

Very central and within 2 min easy walk to close by restaurants etc. The private car park was as huge bonus, especially as the driver (myself) is disabled. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable, and the en-suite shower room was warm and looked very new/modern. Netflix was available and the sofa in the sitting room was very comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable. The staff member (possibly the owner) behind the welcome desk when we arrived was friendly and kept us well informed. Booked Athol Villa Guest House as a suprise for my husband's 50th birthday (with a visit to the Enchanted Forest). He's quite picky about where he stays but was really happy with this venue, and we'd definitely consider returning in the future. The kitchen was decent but basic. Could have done with a microwave for example. We went out for dinner but my son didn't eat his pizza main course as he felt a bit unwell. He took it back to the villa with him to eat later when he felt better, but there was no way to heat it up. The temperature was a bit on the cold side, despite the heaters being on at their highest setting. This was especially true for the sitting room and we needed to take duvets through to keep warm enough whilst enjoying TV. The bedroom wasn't too bad but there was a bit of a draft coming in from the window just at the head of the main bed. I'd have loved later availability for breakfast (and a slightly later check out by 30min) but only 8:30am was left. I had trouble falling asleep (not the fault of the venue), so unfortunately couldn't make breakfast in the morning.
