- 780fadii (8/5): Calm vacation - Amazing resort experience between the nature. The room we got is a big one with a big bathroom and amazing view. The staff were very friendly and nice. It is an amazing experience for everyone wants a quite vacation near the beach. The breakfast is good. A small pool but very clean and beautiful. Very recommended.
- Moraexplorar (8/5): Great Beach Spot. Traditional Thai - Almost private beach - 3 hotels and couple of restaurants. Nice pool. Beautiful gardens. Good sized rooms. Traditional Thai. Lots of dark wood. Outdoor dining. I prefer a more modern hotel and brighter, lighter decor. That’s just a preference. Mostly male staff. Thai staff can’t do enough to help. Didn’t get this vibe here.

- joapi (10/5): The Andamania Beach Resort is a hotel to repeat... - The Andamaniaq Beach Resort is placed on one of the best beach locations in Khao Lak. The hotel is very good for a 3*. The restaurants along the beach are excellent and at a very reasonable price. Without a doubt, for us, it is a hotel to repeat and I know many other places in Khao Lak, for sure...

- 958alisonb (4/5): Disappointing - We didn’t stay in the hotel but passed the beach bar on the way to dinner so thought we would stop for a drink, it was very disappointing, the wine was more expensive than the other places near by and smaller glasses, would not return. They need to make more effort to attract people back , once was enough, other local bars next door are much better value and more welcoming.
- PeterH237 (8/5): Very good - Good clean hotel on a lovely stretch of beach with a handful of beach restaurants next door. Mainly older couples so quiet, no pool music or thumping bar in the evenings. Relaxing and overall good value. Will consider coming again.
- sunloverOslo (10/5): Best hotel on the beach - We stayed here for 2 magical weeks in November, love this hotel, the location and the great staff! This is our second time staying here and we will certainly be back, we stayed in room 106 which was wonderful and very convenient for the beach and pool. The location on the the long sandy beach which you can walk along for hours is superb, very good for swimming also!! They have a lovely beach restaurant and bar which serves delicious food and drinks til quite late in the evening. Thank you for yet another wonderful stay, we will certainly be back!!

- TexBoise (8/5): Good but not perfect - In general, a charming place with a great beach location, and very friendly staff. Drawbacks were that they seem to be undergoing some renovation work right now, leaving the distinct impression that there is still work to be done. There were also a few ants in the room, but more of an annoyance then a big problem. The beach location and sunset watching are unbeatable. The staff was warm and friendly, always attempting to be helpful. The breakfast was primarily western and well-prepared. The clientele was mainly European, primarily older couples and families, so very quiet. If you are expecting, polished, elegance, or a glamorous scene, this is probably not your place. If you want, friendly, clean, and well located accommodations, I would recommend staying here.
- Linham53 (8/5): Fantastic tranquil week. - Andamanis Resort is situated on one of the best unspoilt beaches in Khao Lak. Kuch Khak beach goes on for miles on both sides of the resort. Beaches clean and a good gradient for entering the sea. Numerous small restaurants and msssage areas adjacent to the hotel and on the beach. Hotel itself is situated in beautiful well maintained gardens. It is smallish traditional Thai style hotel in a secluded area. A few larger hotels nearby but we preferred the smaller more intimate experience. The room was clean and tbe bathroom very colourful. Sunloungers at the entrance just in case you didnt walk tbe 30 metres to the pool or 50 metres to the beach. Staff very helpful and accomodating. Wi fi okay in our room and on the beach areas. Wi fi also acailable in local bars and restaurants. Adequate comfortable sun beds at pool and on the entrance to beach. Sun shade provided by parasols but also from tbe large trees. Food and drink at the hotel of good standard and price. Very competitive with the local bars. A few supermarkets within 10 minute walk. The hotel is rated 3 stars but we would suggest this is a lower rating than we would attach. If you like a smallet hotel them 4 stsrs would be our rating. Thoroughly enjoyed our week and would recommend to similar minded persons.

Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass es sich um ein mittelgroßes Hotel handelt. der Strand, die Umgebung, alles macht mich glücklich, hierher zurückzukehren. jemand, der einen Ort abseits des Zentrums sucht, wird zufrieden sein.
- Jörg (10/5): Wie immer wunderschöner Urlaub - Wir waren zum 6.mal hier und was soll ich sagen, wieder wunderbar, toller Strand, keine Animation, volle Entspannung und wenn man es etwas Trubel haben möchte, fährt man mit dem Roller zum Treiben
- Christian (10/5): Super-gerne wieder - Wunderschönes Hotel direkt am fast einsamen Strand. Das einzige was nervt, sind die Touristen, die bereits morgens um 6 die strandliegen reservieren, aber dafür kann das Hotel ja nix. Personal, Zimmer, Sauberkeit und Beachbar sind fantastisch……jederzeit wieder.
- Volker (8/5): - Die Anlage ist grundsätzlich sehr schön. Allerdings in vielen Bereichen in die Jahre gekommen. Die große Lobby ist lieblos, ebenso wie der Empfang bei der Ankunft! Ich hatte während der 3 Wochen zweimal eine Bitte bei den Herren in der Lobby adressiert, welche jeweils prompt erledigt wurden. Das Deluxe Zimmer war sehr groß. Die Sauberkeit war gerade noch OK. Beim Säubern wurden Einrichtungsgegenstände nie bewegt und unter Schreibtisch Bett etc. wurde schon längern nicht gereinigt! Fast zwei Wochen wurde nie feucht gewicht. Nachdem ich das reklamiert hatte, wurde jeden Tag gewischt. Die Betten/Kissen waren uns zu hart. Auf Anfrage erhielten wir aber einen zusätzlichen Topper und weichere Kissen - so war es dann OK. Das Personal beim Frühstück war größtenteils unaufmerksam/uninteressiert. Eine Ausnahme war die junge Dame, welche die Eier zubereitet. Die Kellner am Strand bringen auf Wunsch Getränke/Essen zu den Liegen. Das Abräumen ist aber offensichtlich unter ihrem Niveau! Und leider war es für viele der Gäste auch keine selbstverständlich, ihre Liegen in ordentlichem Zustand zu verlassen!! Ich möchte niemanden zu Nahe treten, muss aber sagen, dass ein Großteil der Gäste eine besondere Clientel darstellte. Da wurden morgens schon die Liegen reserviert, die besten Polster zusammengesucht (viele haben sich gleich zwei davon gegönnt) und selbst Schattenplätze mit mehreren Schirmen ausgestattet! Egoismus pur!!
- John (10/5): Relaxing, quiet hotel - We spent eight days here and enjoyed every minute. The staff are friendly and the hotel is quietly located right on a great Sandy beach, with a few family run restaurants close by. They offer a free shuttle bus to the town if you need variety.
- Susanne (2/5): - Der Empfang an der Rezeption ist sehr kühl und geschäftsmäßig, als Gast fühlte man sich nicht willkommen, im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels in Thailand. Die Hotelanlage ist im Ganzen ungepflegt, wobei die Blumenbeete schön aussehen. Die Wasseranlagen ( Teiche) vermodert und die Mücken fühlen sich dort wohl.Das Haupthaus verwahrlost, offene Rohrleitungen, Müll , Insektenstraßen usw. Zimmer verwohnt , Möbel alt, dreckig und kaputt, Klimaanlage sehr laut und Wasserlachen, Kakerlaken im Zimmer, Terassentüren schließen nicht, so dass Insekten ungehindert ins Zimmer kommen. kaputt. Frühstück einseitig, das Geschirr wird mit Hilfe von Wäschekörben abtransportiert.Strandliegen sehr alt und die Auflagen kaputt , so dass es teilweise sehr unbequem war darauf zu liegen. Auf Nachfrage ein anderes Zimmer zu erhalten, ist uns eines unterm Dach( 4 Etagen ) in einem noch schlimmeren Zustand angeboten worden.Der Strand ist sehr schön und das Essen Restaurant ist schmackhaft. am Strand .Dies haben wir abgelehnt und haben uns nach zwei fast schlaflosen Nächten ein anderes Hotel gebucht. 3 Sterne für dieses Hotel zu vergeben sind 2 zuviel. Preis Leisungs Verhältnis passt da überhaupt nicht. Vor Ort Expedia kostenlos und am Wochenende zu erreichen , ist nicht möglich. Wir hatten auf Hilfe gehofft.
- kei (10/5): - I loved this hotel even more than all the luxury properties I've stayed at. Low key, on an almost empty beach, Khao Lak is suffering because of covid. The service was excellent. I believe I got a fantastic deal and ended up staying there for two weeks instead of the planned two days. It's the sort of place where everyone is extremely kind and smiling. They are traditional about the way they upkeep the property. I didn't see one vacuum cleaner the whole time I was there. They swept the floors. Somehow it was one of the cleanest properties I have ever seen in my life. Food is not fantastic for the price but there is a local restaurant called Be Friend right next to the property on the beach which is EXCELLENT, and relatively cheap. Breakfast was average. It is an unbelievable deal for the area. I couldn't believe it. This is what I was hoping to find in Thailand. Many thanks to the staff.

- Jörg (10/5): Urlaub wie im Paradies - Toller Urlaub, sind ja auch Wiederholungstäter, wie viele andere hier. Super Strand und eine Ruhe und wenn man etwas Trubel haben möchte dann hat man das auch in der Nähe. Zimmer großzügig.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Einfach und friedlich - genau wie es uns gefällt - Alles war insgesamt ganz wunderbar. Die Anlage ist ein Traum. Die Lage sowieso. Eigentlich möchte ich das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, aber zu bemängeln sind leider die Klimageräte. Die sind einfach zu laut. Ich denke man muss sie erneuern. Wir könnten nachts sehr schlecht schlafen, weil das Klimagerät der Nachbarn die ganze Nacht durchgehend im Einsatz war. Die Bungalows haben neuere (leisere) Klimageräte.

Gestört hat mich nur dies wo mich in jedem Hotel stört sind die Hotelgäste die morgens um 4 Uhr bereits die Liegestühle besetzen gehen. Aber was soll's für die einen ist dies wichtig die anderen nehmen halt was übrig bleibt.

Die Zimmer sind groß und schön, die Anlage ist super und der Strand einfach spitze. Das hotel ist eher klein und dadurch nie überfüllt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

- Monica (8/5): - Slitet 3 stjärnigt hotell med bra läge. Vi hade ett deluxe jacuzzi rum - stort och rymligt för 3 personer. Fantastisk utsikt från den stora terassen. sängarna var stenhårda tyvärr. Vi är mest besvikna på frukosten, fanns ingen variation, samma varje dag. Trist att inte få äta av Thailands alla frukter.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Tolle Lage an einem der schönsten Strände in Thailand. Das Personal und vor allem der ca.20 Jahre alt Manager sind total überfordert. Die Anlage lässt in vielen Bereichen sehr viel zu wünschen übrig.

- Franck (10/5): Nice and calm resort. - Great place to relax. Family orientated but not with a lot of children screaming around. Very quiet at night. Safe and good general condition. The wooden floor are quite nice giving some authenticity to the resort.

- Peter (8/5): Fin strand - Bra rum fin strand. Frukosten saknar pålägg finns bara marmelad och ägg i olika former så efter några dagar så blir den väldig enformig. Är ett typiskt charter hotell där dom första är nere vid solstolarna med sina handdukar redan vid 6-7 på morgonen och paxar stolar så är man nere på stranden vid 9 tiden så kan man få problem att få stol och parasoll.

Andamania has a very clear style: situated between the luxurious 300-Euro-per-night-hotels, Andamania Hotel is the nice middle-class hotel in between, with the most likeable, friendly, personal staff, a splendid garden and a beautiful beach and tasty restaurant. If you want fancy huge pool-landscapes, go to the huge hotels left and right, if you want perfect relaxation with friendly staff and a really nice garden and great beach, go to Andamania hotel!
- Fredrik (10/5): Vi kommer tillbaka! - Vi avslutade våra tre veckor i Thailand med 4 nätter på Andamania. Fantastiskt ställe! Vi är en familj med två äldre barn som sökte lite lugn och ro de sista dagarna av vår semester. Ligger precis vid stranden och en makalöst fin strand. Lång. Fin sand. Även under högsäsong så var den nästan tom. Inga försäljare. Inga högljudda long-tail båtar. Frukosten var vi väldigt nöjda med. Restaurangen som fanns hade mycket god mat. Städningen perfekt. Wi-Fi fungerade perfekt. Ett hotellområde utöver det vanliga med en makalöst fin trädgård. Överlag en klockren service. Lugn stämning. Hotellet ligger rätt avsides så man måste åka taxi men inga problem då hotellet har egen taxi. Vi var också medvetna om detta när vi bokade. Skall man vara petig så var det enda negativa att det var dåligt tryck i duscharna men det kan man leva med när allt annat var så bra. Kanske också att hotellets egen mini-markt hade rätt klent utbud.

There was a good selection of foot-in-the-sand restaurants adjacent which we thought provided better food than the hotel restaurant. Lovely pool and good choice of food at breakfast. Some of the fittings eg. bathroom were a little dated. Fabulous beach and wonderful sunsets.
- Shez (10/5): excellent hotel beds traditional hard Thai beds. - Loved the staff who were so happy to help, even though they all don't speak a lot of english.They are family oriented and love children and make a fuss over them.Hotel is set within borders of coconut palms and jungle. The Hotel rooms and bungalows are set in beautiful and well maintained natural gardens.Koy ponds are nestled besides an undulating path that leads to the restaurant and beach. There is a sparkling clear pool.Breakfast was fabulous too.With bacon, eggs and anytype of omelet you wished for they could wipe it up in minutes.Plenty of juices, A few traditional dishes and fresh fruit and youghurt,as well as those wanting a salad they even had this.At dinner you are digging your toes into sand at the beach restaurant or bar .Red beach umbrellas shade lounges set up for the guests near the beach. It seems that theres obviously been a lot of care gone into making the guest stay so comfortable by the lovely owners at this Andamania.Hotel.I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the rest of the world and do nothing but relax and recharge, its worth the travelling time away from Phuket.
- Peter (10/5): Just what we were looking for. - Though the hotel is rather remote from the rest of the world, it is a perfect place to 'chill out'. The beaches are magnificent for the long walks we need, and the swimming was wonderful - until the arrival (just before we left) of the jelly-fish. However - as we discovered - the hotel swimming pool is an excellent substitute for the sea, when one is needed. From time to time we needed a little variation, and it was good to find an excellent restaurant ('Pinky's') just a few yards along the beach - and the Marriott Hotel, just a bit further away, provided us with the real coffee we needed. I should add that the Andamania was itself a very appealing place to be, set as it is in a beautiful garden. We have rarely eaten breakfast in a more perfect setting. Though inevitably there were some language difficulties, we found the staff at the hotel obliging, friendly and accommodating. We would certainly like to go back there some time soon!
- Sophie (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing beach front resort - This is a really lovely place - beautiful grounds, pool and perfect beach front location. It’s not super luxury but very very good for the price. Breakfast good choices and they continually top it up. All food covered. Staff are extremely sweet, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Khao Lak is really spaced out so give transport some thought - you need to get taxis or have a vehicle of some kind from here. There are several restaurants walking distance from resort by turning left or right along the beach, but I do mean only a few - you’re not a main built up area here. But as long as you’re okay with that, it’s beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and just generally great. Thanks for having us!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely quiet resort with beach frontage - We really enjoyed our two week stay at the Andamania resort, it is in a quiet location but close to Ban Niang market and Khao Lak township. Staff very friendly , room was comfortable and clean. Bar and restaurant on site and also other beach restaurants in walking distance so you can enjoy a variety. Breakfast facilities with view to the beach and all the food you need and an egg station. Bicycle and scooter hire on site also. Will definitely chose this resort again and happy to recommend.
