After a long day of travel the dinner prepared for us was terrific. James and Emily are a delight and went above and beyond with some unexpected assistance in light of the airline losing our luggage. We are so grateful for their kindness. The accommodation was exceptionally comfortable and clean. We look forward to returning to Mansewood!

• David (10/5): Absolute gem of a place to stay whilst walking. - This was a magnificent place to stay whilst walking the Rob Roy Way. James and Emma and family were lovely and friendly and very welcoming. I had a wonderful 3 course dinner cooked by James and a wonderful breakfast the next day. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. The fact I couldn’t stay longer.

Unser Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, es war an alles gedacht. Es gab zusätzliche Decken und auch warme Getränke auf dem Zimmer. Das Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich. Rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. Storm Amy cut the electricity but we still managed to have a good cooked dinner and an excellent breakfast. De dag begin je met een goed ontbijt en kan je afsluiten met een diner. Zeker aan te raden, was heerlijk. Mooie ligging, goede uitvalsbasis voor verkennen van de omgeving.

Super vriendelijk ontvangst en heerlijk gedineerd en daarna een paar goede whiskeys in de bar. Ontbijt was uitgebreid, ruim voldoende en wederom heerlijk. Absolute aanrader. Helemaal niks.

In camera ci sono tutti i servizi necessari, era pulita ed accogliente. Hanno anche un bar e una sala svago con libri e giochi da tavolo, noi abbiamo giocato a trivial pursuit mentre aspettavamo la cena, che era buonissima e anche la colazione era ottima ed abbondante, sia Emily che James sono stati gentilissimi e cordiali. L'unico dispiacere è che ci siamo fermati solo 1 notte!

Assistent, 🐱) alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet mit Kaminzimmer und bar um den Tag entspannt ausklingen zu lassen. Ein tolles reichliches Frühstück! Diese Unterkunft ist magisch so wie das Tal in dem sie liegt! Da es ein sehr altes Haus ist, ist es recht hellhörig und wir haben die Nacht über die Wasserleitungen laut gehört. James hat uns die Bier vom Vorabend als Entschädigung erlassen, echt lieb!

Das Haus ist wunderschön renoviert und bietet eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist ideal , nicht zu touristisch, mit tollen Wandermöglichkeiten direkt in den Highlands. Ein rundum erholsamer Aufenthalt!

Le petit déjeuner est de grande qualité et offre des propositions originales. Nous y avons pris le repas du soir concocté par le maître de maison et il était délicieux mais peut-être un peu frugal pour des jeunes en pleine croissance. Un plateau thé ou café et des MELOCAKES dans chaque chambre ont fait le bonheur de ces mêmes jeunes en pleine croissance!! Merci beaucoup.

• _Tanja (9/5): Zum Wohlfühlen! Herzliche Gastgeber! - Charmantes, kleines B&B mit individuell eingerichteten Zimmern. Gemütliche Sitzbereiche und eine kleine Hausbar luden dazu ein, den Abend bei einem Drink nach Wahl und ein paar Snacks entspannt ausklingen zu lassen. Beim Frühstück konnte man sich ein Gericht à la carte (z. B. Porridge) auswählen. Zusätzlich gab es ein kleines und liebevoll arrangiertes Frühstücksbuffet – alles war ausgesprochen lecker. Der Gastgeber, James, war super herzlich und immer für die Gäste da – man hat sich direkt wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Emily, James and family have created a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing haven that is so enjoyable to be in. We felt welcome and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Emily's suggestion about what we could do on our first day was spot on. The room was very comfortable and the food is delicious. Thanks again for accomodating the extra meal request from my daughter Hannah - she thought it was the most delicious meal ever. If I was planning our trip again we would stay longer!

Die Auswahl an Restaurants ist in der Gegend eh sehr überschaubar. Uns hat die Qualität vom Essen sehr überzeugt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Daher die volle Punktzahl und sehr zu empfehlen. Selbst die Zimmer wären für englische (schottische :-) ) Verhältnisse ausreichend groß. Da gibt wirklich nix.
