• Karin (2/5): Geeignet für Menschen die Ruhe u Abgeschiedenheit in rustikalem Ambiente suchen suchen Unmittelbar nach Ankunft abgereis - Davide war trotz der kurzfristigen Stornierung sehr hilfsbereit Parkplatz in der Anlage Lage völlig abseits, miserable Strassenverhältnisse, Zentrum fussläufig ganz schlecht zu erreichen. Einrichtung sehr einfach, rustikal ohne Komfort

• Kenan (10/5): Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt an einem sehr idyllischen Ort - Eine außergewöhnlich große Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet - alles super lecker und frisch zubereitet. Davide spricht perfekt deutsch und ist ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber, wir haben uns in dieser familiären Atmosphäre so wohl gefühlt, dass wir sogar den Aufenthalt spontan dort um einen Tag verlängert haben. Davide gibt sehr gute Tipps zu Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und auch den besten Parkmöglichkeiten am Ausflugsort. Die Unterkunft ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum entspannen inmitten von Zitronenbäumen mit Blick auf den Äthna. Es gibt genug Parkplätze. Es gibt einen Pool und Liegen, so dass es möglich ist auch den Tag vor Ort zu verbringen, wenn man mal keinen Ausflug machen möchte. Der Strand ist ebenfalls nicht sehr weit weg, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind genug im Ort vorhanden. Die Unterkunft ist über einen schmalen längeren Weg mit dem Auto von der Hauptstraße aus ereichbar. Elke und Kenan kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!

• Anja (10/5): Ich wäre am liebsten geblieben!!! - Die Lage inmitten von Zitronenbäumen mit Blick auf den Etna war ein Traum! Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, erhielten Tipps und jede erdenkliche Hilfestellung! Das Appartment ist riesig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war wirklich alles perfekt!

Breakfast was varied and plentiful with a good mixture of savoury and sweet items. David was a fantastic host, who was happy to answer any questions we had. He also provided us and the other guests with complimentary fresh, homemade pizza using his pizza oven on one of the nights during our stay. We also went for a walk through the lemon trees and picked some lemons to taste. We recommend this authentic Sicilian stay for anyone planning to stay in the area. No tea towel for drying up the dishes.

• Bruce (10/5): We highly recommend this air bnb!! - Our host, Davide, could not have been more gracious, friendly & helpful. The morning breakfasts were so plentiful & delicious. The rooms (separate living room, bedroom, kitchen & bathroom) were large & very comfortable! Located in the midst of beautiful scenery with a large pool, both outdoor & indoor eating, this was truly a gem! The road to get there was a bit challenging but no more than you should expect in the Sicily countryside. Not really a dislike - you just get used to it. It’s Sicily!

• Helen (9/5): Great villa for a shorter stay. - The villa was perfect for us for a few days - off of the beaten track so you definately need a car, but quiet with a nice tranquil pool, clean facilities and an excellent breakfast - lots of grilled veg, meat and cheese, as well as eggs, cakes, and foccacia. David was attentive and happy to help with directions and recommendations to restaurants. Other people who stayed for longer had said he will make a lovely meal of fish and salads in the evenings if you wanted that. I feel the rooms are in need of updating - just very old fashioned, however exceptionally clean and good quality bed linen. I feel if I had gone for longer, I would have preferred to be closer to the town.

Bed sliep goed De weg er naartoe was gruwelijk slecht en zo smal dat je steeds blij was geen tegenligger kwam. Locatie erg afgelegen dat viel mij tegen. Douche cabine was erg smal voor mijn vriend, duurde erg lang voordat er warm water was. Er was ook een keukentje waar je kon koken. Er was helaas geen waterkoker voor thee.

Colazione abbondante, sia salata che dolce. Nel delizioso giardino si trova anche una zona piscina dove potersi rilassare. Il tocca finale sono state le due magnifiche cene che Davide ha cucinato per noi!

A good pool and plenty of loungers, tables and sunshades. A super base for exploring the region or just lazing by the pool. Really the only drawback is the road in to the Villa, its very narrow with high walls on either side in parts, to me typical Italian access and practice makes perfect , meeting another car adds to the days excitement 😀

Er ist ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und gibt gute Tipps zu Ausflügen und Restaurants. Bei einem Problem mit unserem Auto hat er uns sofort geholfen. Der Pizzaabend, mit ihm als Pizzabäcker, war wundervoll. Jeden Morgen gab es ein abwechslungsreiches Frühstück, Die Abende konnten wir draußen im Freien genießen. Es gab einen herrlichen Pool, den wir jederzeit nutzen konnten. Die Handtücher könnten einmal erneuert werden.

L'appartement que nous occupions était très spacieux et confortable. Les espaces extérieurs sont agréables, la terrasse commune est ombragée et le barbecue à disposition. La piscine et les transats étaient appréciables également L'hôtel est bien placé, proche de Taormine et idéal pour aller voir l'Etna Enfin, le petit déjeuner préparé chaque jour par Davide était incroyable et très varié. • Sara (8/5): Tolle Lage und guter Ausgangspunkt nach Taormina oder zum Etna. - Davide ist ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber der für sämtliche Anliegen soforr zu Rat und Tat steht. Der Pool ist sehr willkommen uns schön gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind rustikal, aber sehr grosszügig. Der Anfahrtsweg fanden wir nicht so schlimm wie in anderen Bewertungen beschrieben. Die Villa liegt wunderschön im Grünen. Das Zimmer hätte insgesamt etas sauberer sein dürfen. Spinnweben in den Ecken und der Abfluss der Dusche hat die ersten 2 Minuten jeweils sehr stark gerochen. Danach war es gut.

• Jorsua (9/5): Desayuno increíble - Una Villa alejada del ruido de la ciudad, ideal para descansar mientras se viaja. Habitación amplia y bien equipada. Davide es un excelente anfitrión; nos hizo sentir muy bien atendidos. Pero lo mejor es el desayuno, algo totalmente distinto a lo usual: auténtica comida italiana, con sabor a Sicilia. Recomiendo 100%. No es una crítica, sino un plus, pero lo escribo para que otros viajeros lo tengan en cuenta: para alojar acá es imprescindible tener automóvil. No veo de qué otra manera alguien podría llegar cómodamente.

L’endroit est calme, reposant, et plein de charme. L’hôte (et sa vielle sœur 😜) est tout simplement exceptionnel : toujours souriant, disponible et passionné par sa région, il nous a donné de précieux conseils pour découvrir les alentours. Les chambres sont impeccables, le petit déjeuner est un pur délice — préparé maison avec des produits locaux — et la piscine offre un cadre idéal pour se détendre. Proche de Taormina et de l’Etna, c’est l’endroit parfait pour une escapade sicilienne authentique. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Long, narrow rural road to get there.One should be extra patient and careful, epecially at night. Not premium establishment, amenities, facilities, breakfast area. Place needs freshening up, a good rennovation and upgrade in many ways. Lot's of mosquitos this time of the year especially. One should be prepared. Towels provided needed either better washing or replacement. A certain odor of aged materials, humidity and mould was present. Not good, especially for allergic guests.

• Dean (10/5): Looking for somewhere a bit different then this is the place for you - A bit off the beaten track, you’ll need a car to get into town ( 5 minutes along the track )but that said what a lovely place to stay. Situated within lemon groves, great pool area and David was a great host.

Great host, abundant and t - Secluded, peaceful AGRITURISMO property, set in the countryside and off the beaten track. Excellent views of Mount Etna and surrounding citrus groves. Spacious, self-contained rooms with equipped kitchen and bathroom. Outdoor area was pleasant and swimming pool area was an added bonus. Breakfast was abundant and very filling! So much delicious food! Davide was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. I wasn’t a problem for us as we had a hire car, but for other potential guest, please be mindful that this is a peaceful country setting, and not located in bustling central Giardini Naxos. There isn’t any nearby public transport so a hire car is a must.

• Steve (9/5): Excellent experience - The ospitality was excellent, breakfast was very good and we fealt part of a family. The paronamic was amazing and the apartment was what we needed. The only thing that I didn't like was the road to arrive to Villa Laura. Apart from that cannot complain at all.
• Toonsarah (9/5): A warm welcome in such a peaceful place to stay - The best thing about this B&B is perhaps its location, surrounded by lemon groves and with views of Mount Etna and nearby Taormina. The host Davide was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread each morning was huge with something for everyone, though I really couldn't fancy the cold fried eggs! I shared a first floor apartment with two friends and we had great views from the terrace. There was a small kitchen with fridge and everything needed for self-catering, though we ate out at lunch time and bought picnic style food from the local supermarket for the evenings. I had expected to have an en suite bathroom but although mine was private (my friends had a second bathroom near their room), it was separate from the bedroom. The property is down a 1.5 kilometre narrow road so you need a car and a good driver!

• Gunvor (9/5): A wonderful calm and peaceful place. We loved it. - In a 20 ha big farm of lemontrees, we enjoyed this wonderful little hotel in the middle of it. Calm, peaceful, nature, birds, not crowded in any way! We got a very clean appartment: smal useful kitchen, livingroom with tv, radio.., bedroom with good matrasses. Two terrasses. The view to Etna was also fantastic! Best view in different light on sky! The yard was nice ..flowers and decorations gave the place a cosy atmosphare , and and lemontrees ×1000, with fruits around.. green area. The breakfast was very good. All what we wished. Beautiful breakfastroom. Good service. We travelled with 2 small dogs and they liked to have walks with us around in the area. (The small dog, half a puppy, had also to go out at night to pee, and the lamps in the yard was on at night..we felt secure). For us this place was fantastic for a "dogfamily". David the owner was very helpful and showed us on the map how to move, where to go easiest to Etna etc. Good service. Good food. He served with dark bread too. The little common road, was narrow.. and could have had more sand on. But the private road that belong to Villa Laura was good. Becase we were driving a big Van, we stopped half the way when we searched for the place, asking an other houseowner far from the hotel, if we were on the right track..yes.. we were right. But this little road is to the end.. when you arrive to Villa Laura.. a very interesting experiece of the total..
