- Ian (6/5): Not a great stay. - Just back from an overnight stay with my fiancée. On the face of it,the place looks nice and has guaranteed parking.But on entering the reception, the female member of staff wasn't exactly welcoming and ,at one point it looked like the booking had not been made . The extra double room was small in comparison room to "Extra Double's" I have had in other hotels.Also,there was no fridge ,no non sugar sweeteners for coffee or no biscuits,which is the norm for hotels.But the room was clean and the toilet area was lovely. However,by far my worst criticism, was the fact that music was being played somewhere in the hotel until 9 pm and ,specifically, loud bass music.We are in our 60's and were looking for a peaceful night.This incessant music gave me a headache. - Timothy (9/5): EV charging Valhalla - but avoid “The bridge” - Many MANY EV chargers for no risk overnight charging. Rooms very comfortable and facilities top notch. The Bridge restaurant (recommended) was ok, but not top notch. Owned and run by the same folk as the Hotel, I’d have chosen somewhere else if I had known this.

Hotel bien placé dans cette petite ville très touristique et sympatique qui propose des randonnées pour tous les niveaux dans tous les coins.

- Patricia (9/5): Quiet and Comfortable. - The hotel is set back from the road and is very quiet. There is ample parking space, and it is free. Maybe slightly old fashioned in the entrance and breakfast room but the bedroom was fine, and spotlessly clean. Decent size bath towels. Good range of tea/coffee in the room. Also, you can turn on the heating if you like. We had a twin room which although not large, perfect for friends or siblings. Also, the staff are very pleasant. And the breakfast has everything you want, and they did me a couple of boiled eggs when I asked. I didn't like the metal shower gel dispenser on the bathroom wall, but it isn't a deal breaker, as I used my own.

Breakfast was hot, as never encountered before in a hotel, nice tasty food. We visit Pitlochry twice a year, this will certainly be our stop from now on. Our trip was too short!

Plenty of electric car charge points if you need them. Only slight niggle was the juice and coffee at breakfast weren't great, although everything else was good. Self-serve breakfast very good (appears to be run by the same people as the Bridge Restaurant which the hotel recommends) and which, although a little tightly packed has a nice buzz and decent food Feels a little overpriced for what it is. - Budsaya (10/5): Great stay - We arrived later than the official check-in time as we hadn’t checked it in advance. By the time we called the hotel, it was already close to their closing hours. However, the host kindly answered our call and came to open the door for us. We truly appreciate the effort and apologize for any inconvenience caused. As for the room, it was excellent, spacious enough for three people, with comfortable beds, very clean, and complemented by a good breakfast. Also, good location. -

- Michal (7/5): - Staff was lovely. Bathroom was nice but shower tray was overflowing. Turned out there were better options in the area for the price, and our room was a little weird - we ordered double room, bud had two extra single beds in the room. It made us feel like we are in bunk beds, not a major problem but for the price I expected a little more. The shower basin was overflowin after three minute shower.
