The setting is breathtaking (beautiful gardens, mature trees, songbirds around, sea view…) and the property is rather grand and very comfortable with a guests’ lounge, garden terrace. Everywhere was spotlessly clean: we had fresh milk in the fridge each day; the room was given a refresh each day. Breakfast: freshly made and cooked to order & absolutely delicious with so much care taken. This place is a gem. Absolutely nothing, it was perfect. Those who don’t relish Devon lanes have only a short drive along one to reach Buckley from the main road.

- Steve and Sue (9/5): Lovely property, fine breakfast, not expensive. We will visit again - We loved the property. It is an old farmhouse, but has clearly been refurbished to a very high standard. The rooms were all tastefully decorated and the breakfast was first class. Nothing was too much trouble, we will definitely visit again next year. Access to Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis etc is very easy, and this location offers much in the way of lovely Devonshire countryside. The bed in our room was a little soft for our taste. It wasn't defective in any way, just a little soft. The surrounding lanes are very narrow, so access with something as large may be problematic if you meet traffic going in the opposite direction. To be fair, we didn't meet any other traffic.

We were on a few days holiday. Sue and David are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much for them. We are vegan and they catered brilliantly for our needs. Very tasty, vegan cooked breakfast, plus more different foods if you want it. Our room was en-suite, very clean and spacious, everything we needed was here. A laid back atmosphere, peaceful and quiet. Just what we wanted.... We highly recommend Buckley Farmhouse B & B. Nothing.

Located a few miles in land from Sidmouth beach, but giving easy access to the surrounding areas. The breakfast was a delight! Maybe a bar in the lounge would have been a nice facility, allowing you to have a tipple whilst enjoying the country views.

Comfortable and spacious bedroom and guest sitting room. It was pleasing to have comfortable chairs to relax in the bedroom and plenty of space. We enjoyed seeing the ancient farm buildings to the rear with echoes of a once busy working Devon farm. A very fine house and excellent b and b accommodation.

The room was a good size. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom excellent. There was a mini fridge in the room with fresh milk for tea/coffee. There is a good breakfast menu. There are some very narrow, bendy country lanes to get to the b&b, which can be quite tricky for those not used to them.

The farmhouse was quite isolated, the drive from the main road was along very narrow lanes so walking was not an option which we had hoped would be something we coud do.

- Kath (10/5): A really lovely B&B. Very high standards and very friendly. - Lovely breakfast from menu. Hot dishes are cooked to order and are done beautifully. It's a bit remote up a lane, but that is to be expected as it is a farm :) The approach drive to the farmyard is tarmac so don't worry about muddly tracks! The rooms are spotlessly clean and there is great attention to detail with coffee and different teas, biscuits and fresh flowers. The garden is lovely and its great to sit out on the terrace. You can just hear the quacking of the geese and the clucking of the hens, making you look forward to the fresh eggs for breakfast!

The farmhouse is in large grounds where you can sit and relax in the the quiet setting. The large room was very clean and comfortable with lovely views across the coutryside. The breakfast was amazing, and cooked to perfection. Sue and John were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Plenty of space to park your car as well. Definitely worth another visit. There's nothing we can say that we didn't like.

- Mccallister (10/5): - The peace and tranquility, the owners were brilliant and very accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful 😋 My wife and I will be returning again later in the year. It was all truly amazing.

- julie (10/5): Very relaxing and peaceful location. Just a magical beautiful place to stay - This B&b is just perfect. The views are stunning both from the garden and our room. Breakfast is cooked to perfection. Nothing is too much trouble. Our hosts were very kind and professional. Made us feel at home and at ease. Having to leave!!!!!
