Guest Reviews
- James (1/5): I didn't even stay. I left ten minutes - Nothing Absolutely disgrace of a location. Why did everyone say it's a great location when it's literally looking out over the tops of 100s of shipping containers?
It's the grimmest building, on the grimmest road, literally the back of the shipping containers in the port. It's not got a view because the whole port is infront of you.
Terrible location, and shocking hotel really. The photos make it look so much better than it is. Anyone not from the area you need to know this is NOT on the Morecambe front like you would expect. It's off in its own area with literally nothing else there.
- Da digby (9/5): Exceptionally clean and self-service - Very clean Low water pressure in shower
- Kevin (10/5): Brilliant, host were very accommodating - Good location for the wedding St Peter’s and also golf club Property was great no faults
- Kathleen (10/5): Perfect location to walk to Ferry terminal. Could stay in the sitting room whilst w - No breakfast provided but a kitchen available to warm food in microwave or make toast.
- Ian (9/5): - Very clean. Very handy for the IoM ferry. Suited our requirements.
- Colin (10/5): - I visit Haysham for business purposes at least twice a year and the port house is the place I have always stayed. The location is perfect as it is only 10 minutes walk from work but overall it is clean and tidy and comfortable. There is nothing i dislike about the port house

- Ali (9/5): Prima - Een fijnere stoel om op te zitten in mijn kamer
- Robert (10/5): Comfortable and convenient with great service - Great location. Convenient and comfortable. Nothing bad to report
- Iain (10/5): -
- Owen (9/5): Clean, comfortable, safe stay and good value for money. - This was my third stay in Room 3. The bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in.
It’s warm. There’s everything you need for a weeks’ stay. Room is spacious. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. I like that there is CCTV - feels safe.
Was really pleased with fridge in the room on my most recent stay.
Towels are fluffy and smell clean and fresh.
On a clear day you can see across Morecambe Bay to the Cumbrian coast and south Lakes. Nothing that can be done but the stair case is steep and narrow so I really struggle to use it when carrying a full suitcase.
I think the shower either runs on a combi boiler or is a little temperamental but it can run cool and is not like a mains pressure shower.
You can hear the port and power station but I’m used to it so it’s quite comforting. Might take a night or two for new visitors to get used to it.

I walked from the ferry terminal which was only 15 minutes away. There is sufficient car parking at the hotel. Very quiet and pleasant room. Very comfy bed and everything very clean. Local pub good for food in evening. Interesting watching many massive lorries sounding their horns when going past the outside diners!
