- Josh (4/5): From Bad to Worse. - This place smells like smoke everywhere. Our room, which was supposed to be “smoke free,” smelled so badly when we entered I almost left. We booked a double bed room but were only given a single King to share. The front desk staff said they were out of rooms and that he wasn’t authorized to issue a refund. Not surprisingly, I never heard from a manager to rectify this and it’s been two days since our stay. Do not stay at this hotel.

- Barbara (4/5): - The staff that checked us in was very nice, but the rooms need some serious updating before it was Econolodge. It was like a super 8 or something and before that it was a Motel 6, they still have the same furniture from when it was a motel 6, the same beds, same desk, same little entertainment center and those are very outdated scratched up. You can feel the springs in the bed and there is no driveway to the back rooms where we had to stay at, so we had to drive through a bunch of potholes and like a dirt road. 😔

- Christine (4/5): Not a good experience - Not good. Room had no toilet paper, the trash wasn't cleaned out from the previous guest, and it reaked of cigarette smoke. There were broken outside stairs that were blocked by wooden pallets. Trash was piled in walk ways. We checked out the same night we checked in to find another hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The floor was dirty, there was a cockroach in the room! The parking was terrible! I had no one go by and clean the room. There was 1 trash can not even one in the bathroom. I didn’t feel safe with just my kids and I. One morning someone tried moving the handle.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - With a little effort, the door to the room could be opened without a room key. Thankfully, there was a bolt lock and a latch. At first glance, the room seemed decent. However, the shower water was barely warm; it was mostly cold. The heater only produced cold air, even though the temperature reading showed 83 degrees. In order to use the light at the desk with the chair, you had to unplug the TV and then plug in the light. Although the sheets appeared clean, they had an unpleasant odor. Overall, it was not a satisfactory place to stay for the night.

- Andrew (8/5): - The outside of the property looks pretty sketchy but they are renovating, and the quality of the room once you get inside is on a par with what you would expect to pay for a $150 per night Hotel. I was rather surprised.
- Verified traveler (8/5): I would say maybe at least a 3 star - The stay was nice but the inside was not up to par. When i walked in the room, boy, did it look clean. I put socks on and walked around getting my stuff in order for the next day. My socks were brown after 15 minutes. The toilet would stay running unless you push the brown toilet handle up. The TV remote was broken. It worked but was missing parts. The water pressure was OK but i took in consideration that the motel is undergoing remodeling

- Lisa (2/5): - There is too much to say so I will keep it short, This motel doesn't deserve to have the Wyndham name,the rooms were filthy and the bed were broken,lets just say that they have been neglected for a very long time, it's not a hotel it is definitely a motel, run down and not safe. I will never stay there again. I was also supposed to get my deposit back but instead they charged me another $65.00 more than likely because I left them a note saying how we felt about their hotel. Just make sure that you research any hotel that you may stay in before booking it because this place was nothing like what they showed in there pictures and they were supposed to have complimentary breakfast but did not. False advertising should be illegal and they should have to pay the price for it.
- Sally (2/5): Disappointed - First room had a terrible smell, had a barking dog next door, and the door had terrible gaps in it. We went back to front desk. The lady was nice and moved us to another room. It was a little better The whole place needs paint and update. There was no place to hang your clothes.

Tv did not work. Could not shut the bathroom door. Holes in the door and wall. The bed was extremely hard! Never again.

- Robert (2/5): - The property was dirty. The website check in time is different from what the main office shows so my floor was wet when I got to the room. I had to ask for towels. I had flies and gnats in my room. I was given a fly swatter. There was a gap around the door. There were tv cables coming out of the walls down the corners and across the floor. There were holes in the walls, baseboard was pulling away from the wall, holes in the lamp shades, the door security box was open and the wires were exposed. I had a non smoking room and the sheets smelled of smoke. I'd love my money back!!! I did not stay a second night since the flies and gnats were back the next day. I took pictures and would love to share them if you need proof.

There were also holes in the thin walls, which were so thin that we could hear every word of the conversation next door. The listing said that breakfast was included, but it turned out to be only coffee, cold cereal, yogurt, and milk from a communal jug, served in a dirty alcove off the front office. The price was good, but we won't stay there on our next trip.
- John (4/5): Beware of Hidden Deposit charges - This hotel is a Ghetto Motel. Comfortable beds, great location. No amenities. Nothing works. No pool. No ice machine. Breakfast is cereal, pastries from the dollar store and coffee. Local people live here. Lots of drug activity. $50 deposit per night and it’s a charge, not a hold. Takes a week to get it back. Unsafe and unsanitary. Staff is super nice.
- Ed (6/5): - Our room was basically clean, but had some holes in the sheet rock. The door may have been kicked in at some time, but it still shut and locked. The bathroom door would not close and latch. The TV was hanging cockeyed on the wall. The staff was courteous and friendly. We attended an evening event and only needed a place to sleep for one night, so for the price it was adequate.

Cobwebs on the ceiling, toothpaste on the mirror, the fridge was not working at all, and they had the mirwave puged into the lamp outlet. They showed us another room and you can tell a water pipe busted and they didnt the wall or anything the things that need to be done. Because of this there was mold growing in the bathroom.

- Brent (2/5): Hazardous to your health - Hazardous to your health. I understand you pay for once you get but I have seen in plenty of two star Motel 6/super eights in my day. This one is by far the most rundown and unsanitary room I’ve seen. I ended up not even staying there and getting another hotel room 10 miles away. Received no refund or any amount of concern from the staff.
- Christy (2/5): - The hotel does not reflect what the pictures show. We went to check in to the hotel and was given a smoking room, the clerk showed us a non-smoking room and the room smelled of fresh cigarette smoke.
- Stephanie (2/5): Dirty - Very dirty. The outside was worn, rusted and rotting in some places. BUGS everywhere- on the floor, in the toilet, in the bathtub. Plus our non- smoking room smelled of smoke from the neighboring room. We only stayed there because they were pet friendly.

We ended up here because the motel 6 down the street was going to up charge me $40 a night more than what I already booked & had confirmation for. The super 8 was last minute but it got the job doe & the people where supper nice.

- Katherine (4/5): - I liked that it was the cheapest place to stay in Mineral Wells. I can’t believe that I still had to pay $86/night to stay there. It was disgusting and totally unsafe. The shower curtain had mildew growing halfway up and the floors turned our feet black. The door didn’t actually close properly. You could see sunlight all the way around the door, and the jamb was hollowed out so that the only thing keeping the door shut was a thin strip of metal. The white towels had black stains on them. The room itself smelled like mildew and smoke (even though it was a non-smoking room). I will never be going back there and cannot recommend it at all.

The road had huge pot holes in the back parking lot.

- NICOLE (2/5): - Absolutely disgusting! I don’t know how this place is open and passing any health inspections. Literally have never seen a more disgusting hotel room!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nope, just nope - This is a very run down hotel that allows long term residents. When we were checking in a "resident" was getting loud with the lady at the front desk about the payment, he apparently was late and blaming them. I heard about thw cops being called on him because they were fighting in which he was accusing a different room of fighting and choking eachother out. There was a didhusting mattress on the balcony, the tubs had mold all around them and the ceilings were cracked and falling. Bedspreads were torn and looked dirty. I promptly left and informed my niece who was supposed to stay as well to cancel her reservation as it was unsafe. The manager was very understanding and agreed with me on most of the issues and says they just went under new ownership and are working on remodeling. If you ask me they need to tear it down and start over
- Louis (4/5): Bad - The bed is broken and fell to the right side which gave me a painful back. It was advertised as having breakfast and they had no breakfast.
- jeff (4/5): only good if you need to save money - sheets were very thin. Too many people outside!!!! dont feel safe at all. outside of hotel is very bad rooms are clean beds okay.
- Richard (6/5): - Yuck! Front desk clerk was very helpful, and she really tried to make our stay acceptable. She could not fix the doorknobs falling off, or the shower head that shot water everywhere except on you, or the lack of cleaning in the room. This hotel needs a renovation and a good scrubbing.
- Diana (6/5): TV didn't work! - The TV and refrigerator didn't work....maintenance said it would be next day before it would be fixed.

- Nicole (6/5): - My room was unsafe the door would not shut all the way and there was about a hand size gap. It was a very uneasy feeling being in this room I didn't even sleep because I was scared.
- Linda (2/5): - 23 hours before check in, they called me and cancelled my reservation because they over booked. I didn't stay there.
- stacy (4/5): 1/2 star - The front counter person was nice, the room needs a lot of help. Shower took forever to figure out how to turn on the hot water. It needs a lot of help and updating. It wouldn’t be my first recommendation if asked. It would be a last resort!

- Verified traveler (2/5): - This motel should be torn down and rebuilt with at least one shred of quality. This was just an overnight stay without many options in the area. The room was disgusting and I would never recommend it to anyone. Close to $100/night was way too much for that nasty room.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - To much noise!! The cleaning stuff star to early to clean the room talking on the hallway. They don’t care about the people. Resting tha Pool not in service!! We have bad experiences on the Gobernador hotel in Durango Mx to spencil it’s not worth it
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The hotel is in dire need of updating. Just terrible condition. Patches all over the room needing painting. Comforter and blanket were dirty. Room was not cleaned properly. Tub surround dirty.
