- Sayed (3/5): Not worth the money that I spent there! - Clean No accommodation…. No coffee, no tea & the bathtub was very bad !

- Cooper (7/5): Good - Cheap and cheerful. Basic bargain accommodation. No frills just the essentials.
- Jorge (8/5): Good money value - N/a N/a
- Nothing (10/5): Exceptional -
- Micheal (6/5): Good sleep. - I was on a bike trip and needed a cheap place to la to my head. The motel fit the description. Old, dated no frills motel that had clean sheets and a shower. Didn't need anything else. I prefer motels because you can park your bike/vehicle outside the door for security and ease of packing. Place was used by construction workers.
- Carole (2/5): Not recommended - Room had cobwebs in 2 corners of the room. Holes in the comforters. Holes in the face cloth. Rusty metal cover for the electrical outlet in the bathroom. Needs alot of TLC.
- Reginald (3/5): Poor -
- Henry (5/5): Better than sleeping in your car. - Cheap and conveniently located Run down working man motel, your wife won’t like it.
- William (4/5): Disappointing -
- Joy (4/5): Will not repeat, do not recommend - Easy access location, lots of parking, quick check in Mattress was HARD despite addition of 1” foam, second bed didn’t even have the foam, boxspring extremely noisy when either of us moved not a squeek but loud cracking, water pipes banged when neighbouring room used water, lightbulb in lamp burned out so replaced with 1 of remaining 2 in bathroom, unplugged fridge because of high pitched squeal, couldn’t use bathroom light because fan sounded like a jet engine. It’s obvious the owners are letting the hotel die
- Catherine (8/5): Very good -
- Katherine (3/5): Poor sleep - Low price Not renovated as implied bad mattress
- Don (5/5): You get what you pay for. - The staff were limited on the amount of English they could speak.
- Lorraine (3/5): Poor - Very basic and very dated.
No coffee maker.
- Jane (3/5): Poor -
- Steve (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rskay (7/5): Good -
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Janet (7/5): Good - Couldn’t make the tv work
- Janet (8/5): - Needs updating on the inside
- Doreen (8/5): - This is an older motel but has some charm! We loved sitting on the front porch and looking at the sunset. Unfortunately the water wasn’t hot
- John (8/5): - Motel was clean and the staff friendly. The motel is not pet friendly as was listed on the hotels.com site.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quant place
- Erica (4/5): Very uncomfortable bed!!! - The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The TV only played 1 channel. The door frame was broken, so it was really hard to close and lock the door. Parking was great and the site was very quiet. But I would not stay here again.
- Brendan (8/5): - It was in a quiet location and had lots of channels on the cable tv. Area of the room was quite large and the gentlemen man at the front desk was very pleasant to deal with, I enjoyed my time here. It’s recommended especially for the price!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Ours was an overnight stay so we were looking for a comfortable sleep. The motel did that so we were happy. I have to commend the owner. I had inadvertently left my iPad behind when we left. He called my cell and made arrangements for its return The owner was very accommodating and went above and beyond expectations to get my iPad to me!
- Dan (6/5): Poor place - Dirty place
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice hotel, great service
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel - The check-in was semi easy, booked the night before but the owners didn't check their email so they didn't have anything prepared. There isn't internet you have to connect to a hotspot. The room was clean but had old towels, soap dispenser for shampoo and conditioner. Just seemed to be very cheap and not about the experience.
- PaulR6098 (8/5): Clean and refurbished - I stayed here while doing a project in town. The motel was completely redone for the most part, they still had the bath tubs to redo. Rates where good, new flat screen tvs, new beds and fresh paint. The only bad part is like the rest of the accommodations, unable to get away from train horns. Will recommend to anyone traveling near there.
- KellyLazar (8/5): I would stop in Moosimin again (New, clean, high ceilings & everything we needed) - Our whole family was impressed. Having travelled a lot for business (Fairmount, Delta, etc) & family travel (resorts or hockey trips) we were most impressed. We knew we wouldn't have anything to worry about being Best Western &only staying one night on a trip back from Banff but didn't expect to find a place that'd we consider spending a long weekend at. The room was spacious, the 'kitchen/bar' area had more than enough space to settle in for days, even the wall-paper was quite nice. The kids enjoyed the pool & our older son the work-out room. The breakfast room had everything we needed including 'breakfast to go'though we took the time to stay & didn't even need lunch later. We would definitely make Moosimin a stopping point again knowing there was a great place to just 'relax'after a long day on the road.
- lhaskayne (8/5): Clean, new, spacious - We were quite p!easntly surprised when we entered the lobby and the room. All was clean, new, spacious. The agent at the desk was at the desk ready to check us in within 3seconds of entering g the lobby. She gave us a welcoming smile, the checks in process was fast, efficient and correct. She even gave us a discount off the price we were quoted on phone.
She clearly explained the continental breakfast hours and where it will be served. But I cannot report on it because we haven't had it
- 441angier (2/5): Yuck - Beds were very hard.. Spiders all over outside and INSIDE.. Floors looked like it hadn't been washed in weeks.. The door wouldn't shut right so we had cold air come into the room. The sheets... Well.. That's a joke not sure if they just make the bed after someone leaves or what but I wasn't putting my kids in that... Way over priced.. $85 for a yuck hole... :(
- marns2015 (2/5): FECES on Walls - Do not look under the beds. Do not look under the beds. I asked for them to clean, came back, they hadn't done a thing. It was extremely gross and dirty. Cannot explain how terrible it was under the beds or how dirty the room was. Sleeping in my car was the only option because it was that bad. They did not seem to understand what clean means in Canada.
- crusinldg (2/5): TERRIBLE - Bad, bad, bad, smelly, lumpy beds, tub stained, no extras. A mistake because we were tired and just wanted to sleep. But never got any, would have been better off sleeping in the car. I don't know how they stay in business.
- 24DeborahB (2/5): Horrible! - This motel is so over priced it is highway robbery! The rooms are spartan, there are no extras Not even bar soap), the beds are old and lumpy. The bathroom tub is stained, the toilet is oval with a round seat and if you are heavy (fortunately we are not) you might not be able to sit comfortably. The management (owners) are Asian and speak very poor English. I booked a room with 2 double beds as I was traveling with my father and they had us booked for a 1 bed room! Changed that in a hurry. When my daughter and husband came to visit us, the management was very rude to them. I guess they thought they were staying in the room too and we were cheating them. Anyway, this place is a dive! Way over priced. Unless it is the last room in town and a blizzard is on its way, avoid this place! Do not trust site pictures!
- Charlene137 (2/5): Absolutely terrible - would not recommend at all - I had emailed telling them 2 adults and 1 dog & asked for a price. I was told $84 including tax. When we got there they told my husband another $15 for the dog, They said they wanted the $15 in cash although accepted the credit card for the $84. The receipt was for $84 only & they did not include the $15 on which is questionable? The room was filthy and there was blood on the wall and the door hinges . I complained to the owner,he came looked at it and said "Thank you for bringing to my attention,I clean in the morning" & was gone. If it had not been so late and a winter storm we definitely would have demanded our money back & gone elsewhere. The toilet was oval but had a round seat that did not fit. The soap holder in the shower was an old toilet paper holder. Around the air vent in the bathroom was all grey dust stuck on the ceiling. Corners of rooms were filthy and shower nozzle was crusted yellow. We were back on the road out of there by 6am & will never return.
- aquamaureen (4/5): Not recommended - We should have known better than to try to find a place to stay late in the day. All they had left was their smoking room. The smell was tolerable and the only alternative room at the motel next door had no windows so we decided to stay.
The room was poorly laid out so we were continually bumping into things. The wiring was not wiring at all: everything in the room - fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV, my laptop - was plugging into one wall outlet by a series of extension cords. Because of this, the fridge hadn't been working and, therefore, wasn't cold. We had to get the manager to come and literally wiggle the plug-in to get the "system" working.
The first password for the wifi system didn't work and, because the managers had shut the office more than two hours early, my husband had to bang on their door to get their attention so we could get a password that actually worked. Even then, the password we were given only worked on one computer, and we usually travel with two. Another couple in the motel had a similar problem with the password they had been given which was different again from the two we were given. I think they finally gave up on using their computer that evening.
