• Timothy (10/5): - Incredibly convenient location a block from core of historic Orefino's downtown. Friendly, responsive and family-owned. 24-hour convenience store nearby and some good dining options and coffee shops downtown. Very walkable.

• Tammy (8/5): Clean, good service and very reasonably priced - We attend a golf tournament and stay in this hotel every September. It is very clean and the service is very good. The mattress this time was a little soft and I noticed it felt a little less clean. However, we did not have any soap and I went and talked to the manager, and he could not have been nicer. He provided me some soap. A person has to remember that you’re only paying $100 wishing today’s world is pretty inexpensive night overall we like this place and will continue to stay there.

• Darcie (8/5): Good beds - TBH when we pulled up I wasn't expecting a lot but was pleasantly surprised when we got in the room. It was clean and modern and the bed was comfortable. It's a small but charming town. Keep in mind the lobby closes at 9 but i called to say we were going to be later than that and they worked with us. Pet friendly for 1 pet. No elevator or breakfast. Breakfast wasn't a big deal to us but the stairs were scary to my blind husband. So if you have any mobility concerns make sure to get a ground floor

• Guy (10/5): - An outstanding value for a completely refurbished property. The room was pristine and spotless. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If your in the area it is the perfect place for a stopover.
• Laraine (6/5): - The beds in our room were terrible. The mattresses need replacing asap. Huge dips in both of them. Woke up with terrible back and hip ache. The toilet was literally a foot or so off the ground. Hard to sit and hard to get up. Bring your own soap. Soap provided was about the size of a chiclet ((miniscule). It was convenient to walk to restaurants etc.

The Mexican fare restaurant was very good. The river is a two block walk away and good. Not Eco friendly. Fine for the price of $105 but not exceptional.

Don't expect to get internet there, we couldn't get internet. We were told it was because our room was at the end, the signal doesn't go that far. The owner was friendly, the room is clean and comfortable and the location is great.

• HEATHER (2/5): - We booked a 2Queen room through Expedia. (We needed 2 beds specifically because my husband had knee surgery recently and needs to be able to move around a lot in the bed to get comfortable enough to sleep.) The facility was advertised as pet friendly. Upon arrival, the clerk gave us a 1Queen room because we had our dog with us and the only other room that was pet friendly was occupied. We slept very poorly.

• Benjmain (10/5): Pretty nice motel. - Over all a very pleasant stay. I would recommend that they put better matts at the doors as we stayed during the rainy season the floor got tracked up quickly. The staff were friendly. Checking in was a breeze. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Affordable.

• MEI (2/5): - The staff did not have the reservation, when I called to update the guest list because it was on a company card. The front desk told our guys there is no reservation when clearly there was. I would not recommend this hotel.

My dogs and I enjoy a room to be very cool temperature wise, like 63 to 65 degrees and the A/C unit kept it at this temp the whole time. The motel workers are extremely helpful, congenial and know how to do their jobs!! We will be back to this property whenever we need a room!
• Karen (10/5): - Pleasantly surprised at this motel. Rooms are updated and clean. No blackout curtains in king room and the street light is right outside but nothing major for us. Carpet in king room is old shag and could be replaced. Other than that great place to rest your head. Eateries are within minutes walking. Ponderosa had great prime rib and fish n chips.

But the staff had called earlier to confirm that we were still coming, and made arrangements for us to get in our room without any issue.
