Guest Reviews
- Wendy (8/5): - It had great beds and pillows
- Eric (10/5): - Its not the fanciest place to stay but its clean and comfortable and the manager is awesome to deal with. Will definitely stay there again when in the area!
- William (8/5): - We were satisfied with the accommodations. The staff were wonderful, very friendly, we would stay there again if the need arises.
- Perry (8/5): - This is an older motel but the it was clean and comfortable and the owner was very friendly and accomodating.
- Louise (8/5): - The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean.
The only thing we didn't like was that the snow wasn't cleaned out in front of the building so we had to walk through the deep snow to get to our room.
- Julia (10/5): - I would recommend the property to travellers going to that area.
- Lawrence (8/5): - friendly staff
- Janice (6/5): - It was very old but beds were comfy. Friendly owners. Internet didn’t work.
- Jessica (10/5): - Check in was super fast and easy…. Rooms are out dated but totally understandable for the small town older motel style. Rooms had fridge microwave and ac. Overall was good. And we would go there again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - it was great place to stay for what we needed was to sleep.Rooms were clean and staff curtious
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly owners, good rates and great cleanliness
- Brian (8/5): Old school motel - Nice fella helped check me in. Motel is older but for the price, location it was fine. I liked being able to park in front of room. Microwave, fridge and tv worked. Wifi was fine. Coffee pot in room. Fine for a night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The motel met our expectations for an affordable highway side motel. The rooms are basic, with everything you need for a comfortable sleep. Everything was clean, the bed (and pillows) were comfy, check in/check out were really easy. It’s not fancy, but it’s a good place to sleep.
- Shane (10/5): - My wife and I enjoyed our 3 night stay at Elk Point Motel. The room was recently renovated, very clean, comfortable and all amenities worked well especially the shower which had great pressure. The microwave and fridge also came in handy. We were in Elk Point to ride our ATV on the Iron Horse Trail. There was easy access to the trail from the Motel and the huge parking lot provided plenty of space for parking our trailer. The hosts were very friendly and the rates can't be beat. We will definitely stay here again.
- Kevin (10/5): - Clean, comfortable and the owners were extremely welcoming.
- Eugene (8/5): - An older motel which is quite comfortable, clean, but in need of updating. Owners were very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay to celebrate a special family event. We would recommend it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cleanliness - Quietness - Easy parking - Helpfulness
- Denise (10/5): - It was amazing quiet and comfy
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Comfotable beds, spacious rooms, staff was very accommodating.
- Sarah (2/5): Nope - We were in Elk Point on business, and decided we’d support local business and stay in the town. The other motel was all booked up because of a hocked tournament, so we booked here.
When we pulled up, the exterior of the building was pretty shabby looking, so we didn’t have a great feeling. When we went to check in, there were no staff in the office, and we finally had to call the service number to get someone to come to the motel from offsite.
Check in was smooth enough, as we had booked online. We got our keys and went to our rooms, which was a bit of a challenge as there wasn’t much done for snow clearing a path around the parking lot.
When we got to our rooms, we found very flimsy doors and locks, which, as younger women traveling alone, didn’t make us feel that confident. Once we got into the rooms, it was clear that there hadn’t been much in the way of upgrades or maintenance since likely the 70s (except the small flat screen TVs). It was dingy & dated, stuffy and stale smelling.
We ultimately decided that it wasn’t worth it, and our clients suggested we check out immediately & booked us in to a modern hotel in the next town over so we could get a decent nights sleep.
