Mashudu (1/5): Worst experience, I had to book for another apartment, so disappointed, don’t ever try them - They didn’t not response to my calls and texts , they owe me R950, someone from a different provider responded and this number : +27 21 552 0690 is connected to a different person Such properties booking.com should remove them from the list because they are not honest and now they owe me money and they’re not saying anything. I will expose them on media if they don’t reply and refund me

Bethuel (1/5): Very horrible experience due to the broken bed that was known about - The host was very friendly and helpful. At one point we were stranded at FNB stadium and he got us an uber to go fetch us. For that I’ll always be grateful to brother Karabo. We got to the guesthouse at 2am after the event we were attending , when it was time to sleep only to find out the bed was broken in half , woke up with a sore neck and back . We escalated this to reception and the lady that works there confirmed they all knew about the broken bed in our room. I really don’t understand how you make someone pay R1300+ then give them a room with a broken bed without a shame . I still find that hard to understand. This alone made me overlook everything else and it made my stay there horrible regardless of how beautiful the guesthouse is.

Paolo (8/5): - Nice guesthouse, in a quite safe area of Johannesbourg. I stayed there for more than 3 weeks, being in the area for my job. Unfortunately there are not restaurants very close but the guesthouse is not far (less than 3 km) from The Glen Shopping Centre, where you can find many restaurants and fast foods. In addition, the owners now offer the possibility to have dinner in the guesthouse, cooked by them, if reserved in the morning everyday, choosing from a varied menu. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Maybe not so soundproof, you hear loudly if there is noise in the corridor or other rooms nearby. There was no air conditioning in the room. For me it was not a problem, given the good season, but maybe in winter and summer, when it's too cold or too hot, it would be needed. There is no buffet breakfast, but you can choose what you prefer from breakfast, from a selection, and they prepare it for you. The owners and the staff are very nice, friendly and helpful and they make you feel like at home. I enjoyed my stay in Heavenly Guesthouse and I would recommend it.
