Marine (6/5): - La proximité du lac… J’avais envoyé 1 message à 2 reprises à l’établissement (1 au moment de la réservation environ 6 mois avant et le 2eme environ 1 mois avant notre arrivée) pour des renseignements sur les restaurants autour et la possibilité d’avoir une chambre en étage avec vue sur le lac et éventuellement une petite attention dans la chambre car c’était l’anniversaire de mon mari… je n’ai jamais eu de réponse, une chambre PMR en Rez de chaussée avec vue sur parking, et bien entendu aucune petite attention… Lors de notre voyage, nous avons dormi dans 6 hôtels et motels différents. J’ai payé cet hôtel bien plus cher, car je voulais marquer le coup… finalement je n’aurais pas dû, car il n’était pas mieux que 2 autres que j’ai réservé dans le même standing…

Sandra (9/5): Overall the stay was pleasant. - Place was very clean. In a wonderful spot close to lots of places. I loved how big the rooms were. The night staff gave out complimentary water but, the day front staff didn’t want to give it out. It was a man at the desk that was not as friendly.

The shower did not work in the morning, and water was coming out of the light fixture above it, making it unusable. We informed the front desk at checkout, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Not being able to shower before a 7-hour drive was very disappointing.

My only advice is that for electrical vehicles it’s Tesla level 2 charging only, so you need an adapter for level 2 charging if you drive a non-Tesla EV. Price is expensive per kWh about 49 cents. At least there’s 3 stations/ parking places to charge and you need a permit to issue them issued by the hotel or you could get towed. AC turning on was loud and kind of high pitched, you could hear the toilet flushing in the room above. No vent in the bathroom so bring a spray if you’re staying with someone else in the room. Shower pressure and temperature was awesome!

Was in Texas summer heat all day so it was great to come to a cold room. Good and hot shower. Good and hot breakfast, the only negative was the juice machine wasn’t operational and my pregnant wife was really craving juice so that was a bit of a bummer, but overall great stay and will stay again!

It’s a great area on the outskirts of Dallas - Great parking, location was fantastic, very short walk to restaurants and waterfront and staff were very lovely. Rooms were also really spacious & beds really comfortable. The breaky was convenient, small area but saves you going out looking for somewhere to eat and it wasn’t busy the morning we ate. Sorry we were not a fan of the aircon noise but we overlooked this with the size of the room and lovely and welcoming staff members.

The property was exceptionally clean, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, and it truly felt family-friendly from the moment we arrived. One of the best parts was how close it was to all the restaurants and attractions at the Harbor — everything was just minutes away. It made exploring and dining out so convenient and fun. I’m already looking forward to staying here again the next time we visit. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept spot in Rockwall!

Kara (8/5): Nice stay - Staff was amazing. Wonderful location. Breakfast was lovely. Room was spacious, clean and comfy. You can't really use the pool from 6 to 10 as it says. Everything we went by it was closed.

Springhill Suites Hotel is walking distance to the lake and marina which welcomes local boaters to enjoy Harbor area restaurants and a large water feature for children to keep cool in! This area is fun for all ages & singles to larger groups &/or families. We chose to have dinner right behind the hotel, at one of our longtime favorite restaurants: Culpepper Cattle Company which has been an area favorite of ours for 40 years! If we were staying longer, the pool area looked very inviting…something to look forward to on the next mini vacation!
