The best view, great breakfast and I loved being so close to nature. Plants everywhere which makes the place so charming. The pictures don’t make justice to the views. It is better than the pictures. Also, the afternoon coffee with cake by the pool just made it all even more enjoyable! There’s absolutely nothing to be said here. I didn’t like the fact that I had to leave!

As funcionárias que atendem no café da manhã são gentis, atenciosas e preparam uma omelete deliciosa. Patrícia e sua filha Oriana, as proprietárias, estão sempre à disposição dos hóspedes. O jardim é lindo e a piscina é ótima.
rosane (8/5): A vista e a localização valem a pena. - O ponto alto dessa pousada é a localização, bem na lateral do Quadrado, com uma vista incrível da mata e do mar. O café da manhã é caprichado com frutas selecionadas, sucos, bolo, tapioca. pão de queijo, ovos, etc e as proprietárias, Oriana e Patrícia, são muito simpáticas. Reservei duas suítes, sendo que uma delas, a de número 6, é confortável, espaçosa, bem decorada e tem um terraço muito bom, porém, a suíte número 1, precisa de uma remodelação. Os colchões de ambas as suítes são desconfortáveis e precisam ser renovados.

Carlos Eduardo (9/5): - A área externa é maravilhosa, com paisagismo lindo, bem cuidado, piscina sempre limpa. O café da manhã perfeito, boas opções e os ovos e tapiocas feitos na hora. Lugar do café tem a vista maravilhosa. Os funcionários todos muito atenciosos e educados. A dona uma simpatia, uma inglesa bem baiana. Quartos sempre limpos, com mosquiteiros na cama, toalhas para piscina. Cama do quarto 3 muito dura e acho que para fins de higiene o assento da privada poderia ser de acrílico e não almofadado. Poderia também colocar novos revestimentos no banheiro para seguir o alto nível da pousada.

Agradecimento especial ao Meka, que nos auxiliou com as malas. O café da manhã é maravilhoso! As meninas fazem uma tapioca deliciosa. Mas o ponto principal é a Patrícia, sempre sorrindo, conversando, contando histórias e disposta a ajudar no que for necessário! Uma graça! Em um retorno a Trancoso, com certeza volto a me hospedar na Mar a vista! Os travesseiros já estão bem finos. Não chega a ser desconfortável, mas poderia melhorar. A pousada nos comunicou que arcaria com a metade do valor do estacionamento, só esqueceram de avisar isso ao estacionamento, que nos cobrou preço cheio. O que também não chegou a ser um problema, visto que o valor cobrado é bem honesto.

O café da manhã muito variado e gostoso. A vista é linda! Os jardins muito bem cuidados, floridos. O pessoal do atendimento muito gentil e atencioso. O quarto, muito antigo, a cama deixou a desejar no conforto e muito barulhenta.

Michely (9/5): Beleza natural, calmaria, excelente localização. - A pousada tem uma vista maravilhosa. É silenciosa, acordamos com o som dos pássaros na rica vegetação da hospedagem. Quarto amplo, cama firme (a coluna agradece) e travesseiros de excelente qualidade. Redes externas, cadeiras, tudo para apreciar a vista e relaxar. Fica no quadrado, fácil acesso a restaurantes, cafés e à praia. As donas da pousada são uma simpatia! Adorei a presença da Gatita e da fofa da Linda. Recomendaria adicionar uma iluminação extra ao banheiro; no café da manhã, faltam opções de bolos regionais (mas as opções salgadas são ok).

Embora tenhamos sido informadas pelas proprietárias da não inclusão do traslado na nossa diária, o app do booking informava que sim.

Café da manhã bem gostoso assim como o visual das mesas dispostas para o verde e o mar. O quarto agradável e as camas confortáveis. Um combinado que não foi cumprido, em relação ao lanche que deveria estar preparado antes do horário do café, devido a corrida em Trancoso antes das 7h da manhã.

La ubicacion no podia ser mejor en el Quadrado pero con la tranquilidad de estar en la foresta. Todo fue perfecto.

Eliane (9/5): - A pousada é muito agradável, todo o pessoal é muito atencioso. O café da manhã é gostoso, com suco, frutas, queijos, pão de queijo, pão e bolo. O quarto é agradável, ar condicionado muito bom, chuveiro quentinho. A tv é smart, então dá pra assistir diversos streaming. Fica no Quadrado de Trancoso, a uns 10 minutos das praias. A vista do mar é surreal! Gostei muito da piscina, mas se ela fosse climatizada seria sensacional.

Hector (10/5): Great Pousada en el Quadrado de Trancoso - Its in the best spot of Trancoso. The room has a view thats amazing. The breakfast was excellent with fresh eggs and tapioca along with several other items to note. The reception was fast and easy. The booking was seemless and we really enjoyed our time there. There is no parking for the vehicle.

The staffing was also very friendly, especially Patricia and Oriana, who made us feel very welcome and gave really nice tips about Trancoso.
Zineb (1/5): Don't stay here! it's a NIGHTMARE!!!! - Nothing I booked this hotel few weeks before coming for Som festival. To start with,when we entered the room it was not clean, the bed was full of dead mosquitos and bathroom doesn't work properly. There is never anyone at the reception... NEVER !! whenever we need a taxi or towels or anything it's a ghost hotel... no one is at our service. Also every here and then we will here a drunk mother (apparently the owner)screaming with her daughter and yelling specially in the morning which makes us have hard time sleeping and relaxing. It's not a posada with real management service, it felt more of rental without even a host communication- it doesn't worth at all the price and there is 0 care about the costumer or service or reception or room cleaning ... One night the light went off and we went to the reception to look for help of course no one is there as usually ... and then we saw that lady and we told her we need help with light it's total darkness in the room and she was totally DRUNK so she start yelling and talking Portuguese 0 respect. We had to leave and go to our friend hotel near by to get ready and shower. One night before our check out we asked to extend one more night (last day of the festival) and the girl said it's fine. But in the morning when we came to the room the lady was inside our room and was packing our things so aggressively in the most horrible way, she was super aggressive that we had to call our Brazilian friend (one of som festival founders)to help us with that nightmare and end up calling the police on her for touching and destroying our belongings, cherry on top we found out that our cash was missing. Later on the police came and asked us to write a report as she broke the law by entering our room, and this is a crime in the the Brazilian law and even worst touching our personal stuff and belongings... the police were persistent for us to press charger against the hotel. Don't stay never ever there.

The view and the pool are incredible. The host Patricia and the staff are great as well. I really enjoyed my stay and would def come back. It's not even a complaint but maybe the breakfast could have a bit more options.

Fernando (10/5): Great accomodation to enjoy Trancoso! Outstanding value for the money. - Great accomodation to enjoy Trancoso! Outstanding value for the money. Great view from the rooms, pool/breakfast area. You will feel in touch with the nature all the time, looking for a green mountain (almost no construction) and the ocean. Patricia is a great host, very attentive and dedicated to provide a great experience. The room size is good and confortable for a couple. The open view and the external private area with cute furniture makes you feel you are in your own garden (actually the garden is open to all rooms). Trancoso is pretty close to great beaches (Nativos 10´; Coqueiros 15´) and easy access to Arraial D´Ajuda and Porto Seguro (by car around 1h). The property is inside the Quadrado (this is great!) but you can´t get inside the area by car. So, you have to leave the car in a parking lot (extra pay) and walk around 200m. Someone will help with your luggage, but it´s important to get in touch with someone from the Pousada in advance and plan to avoid arriving late night.

Zamy2019 (10/5): - Extremely helpful owner and staff give this pousada a warm, relaxing vibe. We live in Brazil and visited over U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. They let us bring a turkey and do a traditional dinner! Rooms are comfortable and have great views over the forest and sea. Perfect spots for sundowners in and by the infinity pool. Steps off the Quadrado and great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this place!
