• Beverley (9/5): Lovely stay, Nataliya is a great host. - The room on the 1st floor was larger than i expected, the view overlooking the canal was lovely and the bed was really comfy. Nataliya was a lovely host and she provided a great continental breakfast. There is a tram stop at the top of the street which takes you to and from the centraal station in about 10 mins. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again when we are next in Amsterdam. Nothing

• BYRON (10/5): A peaceful rest in a busy city. - Nataliya has two rooms that overlook the canal, and the enchanting views set the tone for the stay. We went to sleep with the Christmas lights shining outside and the cozy beds keeping us warm inside. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The trams stop a block away, and there is a good restaurant literally next door. Street noise was minimal, as it is away from the hustle of the central district. The price is slightly higher than what we usually pay for lodging, but we thought it was well worth it. We loved Amsterdam, and this property enhanced our stay.

• Daniel (10/5): Comfort, views great location...all with extraordinary, friendly service! - First, they were super accommodating with our early arrival time. The room was spacious, had a well-equipped kitchenette and nice sitting area, The bed was comfy with nice pillows (not too soft, not too hard, and perfect size). Large shower with good water pressure, consistent temperature throughout shower, and no leakage on to bathroom floor. Hair dryer with nearby electrical outlet was also conveniently located near a mirror. Beautiful canal views from the large windows made us not want to close the blackout curtains until right before we got in bed. Breakfast was delicious with more options than anyone could wish for. Location was so convenient for the museums and lots of wonderful places to eat. Only thing we would have liked would have been luggage racks for our suitcases, but room was huge with plenty of places on the floor to open our suitcases!

• Christopher (10/5): If we ever get back to Amsterdam we will definitely check into the Keizershouse again. - The property and hostess (Nataliya) were wonderful. The location is central to all of our major interests (Van Gogh, Anne Frank & canal cruise) and made for 'relatively' short walks. While our schedule didn't allow us to take advantage of both breakfasts, the one we had was more than we expected. The only thing was the staircase, especially carrying luggage but this is to be expected in an older home in Amsterdam and not a major deterrent.

It was the most expensive of our stays on this trip. My husband booked it so I’m not sure how it compares to other nearby locations, but I know you have to pay a premium to stay in the city proper. So that was ok, since it was only two nights.

Das Apartment ist wunderschön, sehr sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet – der Whirlpool hat uns ebenfalls mega gefallen. Es hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend und absolut einzigartig. Die Buchung war jeden Cent wert. Unsere Gastgeberin Nataliya war sehr sympathisch, hilfsbereit und wir hatten tolle Gespräche mit ihr. Wir haben uns mehr als wohlgefühlt. Bisher die beste Unterkunft, die wir in Amsterdam hatten – mit der schönsten Aussicht, der perfekten Lage und der herzlichsten Gastgeberin. Vielen Dank, Nataliya! Das Frühstück war das herzlichste und schönste, das wir je in einer Unterkunft hatten – liebevoll hergerichtet, mit aufmerksamer Gastgeberin, die uns zu unserem Hochzeitstag Rosen und einen süßen Brief schenkte, den wir zuhause aufbewahren; wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf einen erneuten Besuch. Es gibt wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Wunderschöne Unterkunft, alles war perfekt! :)
• Szymon (10/5): Rewelacja, blisko wszędzie, piękny widok - idealnie - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko zarówno do Rijkmuzeum jak i do centrum miasta. Jednocześnie nie było za głośno, miejsce z dala od zatłoczonych ulic z turystami. Niedaleko wypożyczalnia rowerów, kluby, restauracje czy coffeshop. Z okna przepiękny widok na kanał z wieloma przepływającymi statkami. W pokoju było bardzo czysto, był codziennie sprzątany przez właściciela. Wszystko spójnie urządzone w jednym stylu, nowo wyremontowane i zadbane. Śniadania bardzo dobre, zapewniały idealny początek dnia. Warto wydać trochę więcej dla tak dużego komfortu. Miły właściciel, pomocny i szybko odpowiadający na pytania. Nie zastanawiaj się tylko rezerwuj, lepszej opcji nie znajdziesz.

I only spent a day there but feel that i will be back for sure! Very comfy bed and great water pressure. The Lockbox was hard to open! But otherwise great
• Anne-francis (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable property with loads of character, provided by a lovely host and Staff. - The host and her helper are warm and kind, providing an amazing breakfast. The property is spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The tram stop is at the end of the street. The stairs would be a challenge with anyone with a mobility problem, but they also add to the authentic character of the property and are to be expected.

• Brigitte (9/5): Aracy was excellent and we would highly recommend - The host was extremely helpful and polite. She went out of her way to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this place if you would like to have a great view of the canal and being in a great location. The bed was a little bit soft for us and it was a little bit noisy, especially on Saturday, but that can’t be controlled by the host. It’s just where the location is at.
• Malcolm (10/5): We felt like we had our own flat in Amsterdam. - We chose Keisershouse partly because of its central location and proximity to the places we wanted to visit. We also chose it because of great reviews online which are well deserved. There are lots of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. The guest room was large and the bed was super comfortable.

The host is very attentive and provides a delicious and plentiful breakfast. As in many Amsterdam properties, the stairs can be a little difficult to manoeuvre, especially with bulky luggage.

We unknowingly traveled there the weekend of King’s day and it was crazy busy! Would highly recommend and hope to return ! We didn’t realize it was the weekend of Kings day so it was terribly busy

• Brian (9/5): If you like to stay in a neighborhood, this is the place. - Our host was excellent. She was engaging, interesting, and helpful. I could not ask for a better location. It is on one of the main canals, close to the tram tracks, within walking distance to the Ann Frank House, the Rijksmuseum, the Flower Market, and other attractions. Our rooms faced the canal and gave us a great view of the activity on and around the canal. It was a great experience. I was not expecting the narrow, steep staircases to the upper floors. We managed it, but with great care. I'm guessing that a lot of 70-year-old visitors would not deal well with the access.

The fresh breads, jams and meats to mention a few were great. The stairs were a bit small and steep if you have issues with stairs. Unfortunately, no reflection on the owner, the town is “beautifying the area and adding underground lines, so passage from our place to sidewalk was challenging at times. Thank you for the overall experience. We had a great time.

• Kevinkuo1985 (8/5): Very good - It’s very close to the main attractions, and you can reach many of them or restaurants within a 20-minute walk.The breakfast was very plentiful, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. Due to possible reasons such as the inability to renovate the building, the room has poor sound insulation. You can clearly hear the sounds of people and traffic outside, which sometimes disturbs sleep in the middle of the night.

• Nicholas (9/5): Big, beautiful room in the center of Amsterdam - Spacious, comfy room with kitchen and a small dining area offered all the comforts you could want. Bed was especially comfortable; both my wife and I slept very well. Everything was clean and recently renovated, except the windows. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and ample. Great location with a short walk to multiple tram lines! The windows were old and let in a lot of sound from outside. Since it's Amsterdam, there's always stuff happening outside -- canal boat tours, passersby on the sidewalk, airplanes, etc. -- and you can hear it pretty clearly inside the room. The host was kind enough to provide ear plugs, which worked well for sleeping.

• Micheal (10/5): Wonderful stay in a delightful house and city - The location is within 20 minute walk of all major venues yet far enough from the main areas to be quieter at night. The host is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast each morning was wonderful. There very narrow and steep stairs that can be difficult but this can be said of all the older parts of Amsterdam.

• Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Location was fantastic - one of the best streets to see that quintessential amsterdam sight of the row houses and the canals. It was really fun seeing the boats maneuver in and out under the bridges. Although this accommodation was pretty central to the sights, shops and eateries, it was still very quaint and quiet - very little tourists - almost like you're a local living in the flat. Rooms were big, bright, airy and very clean, stocked and could accommodate self-catering should your trip be as such. Breakfasts were plentiful and host and caretaker were lovely. Highly recommend to travellers looking to visit Amsterdam.

The property was centrally located in old Amsterdam, with a spectacular view overlooking the Keizergracht canal.

Steep narrow staircase (no lift) to 2nd floor apartment in a family home, rate on the high side compared to hotel room with on site personnel & facilities.

Very good location This was advertised as a "bed and breakfast", but it should have been advertised as a room for rent in a house. The room was fine, but the downstairs was like a normal living room area that you would find in a private house. That is of course fine, but for the price being charged I was expecting a better experience. Most bed and breakfasts I have stayed put effort into making the common area a place that was inviting and common to everyone, not simply the owner's own living room/dining room. The owner was very helpful whenever I asked but again gave the feel that she was immersed in her busy life -- wasn't really present. It gave the impression that as a guest, I was intruding...

You can lie in bed and observe the Amsterdam way of life…from early dog walkers in the rain, bicycle riders in their sassy work outfits and the lights on the canal tunnel highlighting the way for boats big and small. The bed is super comfy, the shower worked exceptionally well according to my husband who is a shower connoisseur 😜 Nataliya’s freshly baked croissants, but more so, the early morning aroma of these baking downstairs. Coffee and croissants(free) makes for a great start to the day!
• Jan (10/5): Best location to stay in Amsterdam, with great views of the canal and easier to walk to sites - The location is outstanding located on the intersection of two main canals and easy walking distance to shops restaurants and historical sites.We stayed in the Captains room with an amazing view to watch the boats on the canal from the very large windows. The room has an air conditioner which was great, as the weather was warm. The host is very welcoming. NA
