• Sara (10/5): Highly recommend. - The location was excellent. The apartment is much larger than the photos suggest. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of room to cook a meal. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was warm. The toilet was a little weird. There are three full flights of stairs, which was fine for us, but could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

• Matthias (9/5): Gute und zweckmässige Wohnung an sehr guter Lage. - Anweisungen sind kurz nach der Buchung eingetroffen, waren verständlich und korrekt. Es hat alles einwandfrei geklappt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist top (Nähe U-Bahn, Strassenbahn, Zentrum)! Die Unterkunft war für unsere Bedürfnisse (Familie mit 3 Kindern) sehr gut. Wir waren zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und können uns gut vorstellen, bei einer nächsten Reise nach Wien wiederum diese zu buchen. Die Unterkunft Nr. 8 liegt im 3. Stock. Lift gibt es nicht. Für uns war dies kein Problem. Wer aber nicht so gut auf den Beinen ist , könnte damit Probleme haben.

• Paul (9/5): Very nice apartment in a great location - The location and very nice apartment. Near everything and with nice restaurants very nearby. Very quiet place, but subway and places like the Rathaus, Votiv church, and parliament and many other sites at walking distance. Also, supermarkets are very close. There was no wardrobe in the small bedroom (should be a small one). No small table near the sofa. Difficulty to get the TV going. All very small things compared to the rest of the apartment.

• Mouzannar (8/5): Spacious and clean but the windows need work - Location couldn’t be better! Property was clean, VERY spacious and modern. Mattresses were comfortable. We were an easy walk to restaurants and transportation. Very secure and easy to access the apartment. Only thing that really disrupted our stay was the lack of AC. We didn’t foresee that being an issue but it was about 94 degrees out while we were there so it would get pretty warm inside. There are windows that can be opened but there are no bars whatsoever and with our small children we wouldn’t dare open them. As a result we opened the upper windows which let in a nice breeze and quickly cooled the space. However those windows do not have a way to keep them in place while open like the lower ones do so at night they would slam closed if the wind blew and they woke me up on several occasions until we figured out which were causing a problem. If they install a lock system as the lower windows have it would have been much more tolerable. Also in order to reach the top windows you need a chair so perhaps a ladder would be wise.

We had everything we needed, even for preparing light meals. Very clean. Big and nice windows ( at 5 A.M, a little bit to clear, no shutters….). Very quiet street. Nice garden view from the kitchen. Easy and convenient check in. The matress is very comfortable. Will certainly come back. Thank you Ulrich. Full day light very early in the morning
• Gloria (9/5): Fantastic homey stay in the middle of the city - Everything from space, light, well equipped kitchen and facilities. Clear instruction for flexible late checking and the location. The apartment is conveniently located next to Rathaus, bus stop and supermarket. Slightly further for underground metro. Fifth floor of stairs. It’s a big challenge for seniors and children, and lots of luggage. Best to park in nearby P&R facilities.
• Gerald (10/5): This was our first stay in a two-and-a-half-week Europe vacation and it was a great way to start! - We loved this apartment and location. The apartment was comfortable and met our needs perfectly. The location was within walking distance of many beautiful Vienna sites. The neighborhood felt safe and had stores and restaurants that we enjoyed very much. We have no complaints whatsoever. We had a top floor apartment so we enjoyed a little exercise walking up the stairs. We highly recommend the Apartments Near Rathaus!

• Jes (7/5): Spacious apartment centrally located - but in need of a new bed. - Very nice and spacious apartment. Good for a family of four. The location behind the Rathaus was excellent during Christmas time as we had to pass the famous Christkindlmarkt every day. The host was very friendly and attentive (even though we only communicated via email). The beds were used and quite small. I would recommend buying new beds and king size. This was the only really annoying issue. The apartment is on the fifth floor and there is no elevator. This was not a problem for us, but might be for others.

• Nuri (9/5): Wonderful - A clean, spacious and safe apartment that provides an advantage in transportation with its central location. Having a dishwasher, a washing machine and a large refrigerator at home provides convenience for families. Since its location is central, it is very close to many markets, museums and historical places. If you are going for a New Year's holiday like us, it is a 5-minute walk to Vienna's largest New Year's market. Special thanks to the host Mr. Ulrich for helping to solve any problems. Great kitchen facilities and well stocked with China etc. security and communication was great. Taxi we booked with Booking.com was excellent. Lots of beautiful smelling free soap and shampoo was appreciated. We could walk to everything which was great. And fantastic small restaurant at the end of the road, but you need to book. The pillows were enormous, so it was like sleeping on 3 pillows but it was only one, perhaps that’s what they are like in Vienna, but we woke up with a stiff neck! There were no shelves or anywhere to rest anything cosmetics or products in the bathroom or no hooks for dressing gown or nightwear etc.

We checked in late at night and the hallway was very dark - we had to use flashlights to find the keypad and lock box. Lots of stairs up to the apartment, but we knew to expect that.

• Jonathan (9/5): Great flat, great location for happening Vienna - We very much enjoyed the space - I studied in Germany 30 years ago and it was like going back to my old student life.so I felt very much at home. Ulrich and Tatjana were very helpful in providing prompt information. If you like alternative shops/bars/restaurants, the 7th district is the happening area, so very well located. Poor sound insulation between the 2 bedrooms - just a closed door. We would have preferred softer and smaller pillows. Need another taxi company recommendation as the one they gave us wouldn't take same day bookings. Not a criticism of the property per se, but subway station is closed and lots of road works round the Rathaus makes access more difficult.

Even though we knew it, having to climb the stairs all the way up after a long day of visits can be challenging… 😉 Also, as there is no air conditioning, renting in the summer could mean high temperatures. Last, if you’re used to having stores and blinds in your bedroom, be prepared to wake up early. All small details compared to an overall great experience !!!

The apartment is extremely quite and clean. The two beds are a bit small and the mattress a bit unconfortable if slleing in two. If single occupancy the mattress are fine.

• Mădălina (10/5): Perfect apartment in Vienna city center - Perfect apartment, just behind the Rathaus. The apartment had everything we needed for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). We were able to walk aroung the city center without having to use public transportation. Great hosts, they provided us with lovely recommendations for restaurants nearby. Check-in was easy and flexible, we had a wonderful experience and we will for sure stay there next time we visit!

The 2 bedrooms had comfortable beds, heating worked well and everything was clean and in good working order. The owner was very responsive and gave very good recommendations for local restaurants.

Very quiet area There are 2 negative things: - the apartment is located on level 4 and access is more difficult for people with small children or older people - the toilet room is not heated and the tiles are very cold and uncomfortable

• Yahya (9/5): A true taste of Vienna - The apartment gave us a genuine taste of Vienna with its original architecture, windows and excellent location. The property is very spacious and truly like a home with great amenities and appliances etc. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and cooperative. They allowed us to check out late which helped us enjoy a few more hours in Vienna before our flight back home. The toilet (separate from the large and excellent bathroom) is a bit small but this is understandable in a period property.
