Unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Morgens kann man sich in der Küche sein Frühstück selber machen. Es gibt alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben Rühreier gemacht. Das Badezimmer ist riesig, wir hatten sogar einen Whirlpool. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden

He was great at steering us in the right direction to meet our needs at the moment. Breakfast room was well stocked. Our room was smallish but had everything we needed to be comfortable. The house is somewhat dated and our particular room was small The other 3 are larger apparently.

• Douglas (9/5): High quality B&B for enthusiasts .. a goddess nights sleep for others - A homely Queenslander has its modernised top half converted into the B&B, which has 4-5 bedrooms with ensuites .. I was given the bridal suite, which also has a spa. A kitchen with well stocked breakfast items allows guests to prepare what they desire., including cooked eggs. I was unwell due to travel and welcomed a day in a comfy bed needing privacy. Noise carries in Queenslanders and it's a cramped space for 5 couples to navigate breakfast. I did partake but did consume some fruit and plenty of raising toast when guests had left.

• Giannimouse (10/5): Perfect welcome and stay in Hervey Bay - We loved this B&B, Jon was a great host, friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us including giving us a lift into town for our evening meal because it was raining. Our room looked out onto the garden at the back, the bed was extremely comfortable and the house and garden are absolutely beautiful and full of character. Breakfast was DIY with lots of choice and a chance to meet other guests. Wine and beer are in the fridge and available to buy at a reasonable price. Jon has put a lot of thought into the detail of this place and it makes for a very pleasant stay. We loved our brief stay at the Torquay and hope to return one day. Thanks for everything Jon, it was lovely to meet you and Frankie! Angela and Dan Nothing. Only that we weren't booked in for longer.

We didn’t get to use the breakfast room but it looked great. Quiet and cosy, felt comfortable. Not sure if the key let us lock the bedroom door so we left it unlocked every time we went out.

• Lozzy (7/5): Good - We loved the location of this B & B - so close to everything, and the included parking was great. The linens and towels were great quality, and the shower had great pressure. The bed was a little too soft for us, but that's just personal preference. To be fair, we didn't have many options when booking, but the St. Ives room was far too small for us. I wouldn't book this room if you have large luggage (we had three bags between us). We couldn't move, and it felt very cramped. Sadly, the room wasn't as clean as expected, and there were long black hairs in the bed that weren't ours. Please note that milk alternatives are not provided (soy etc) so we weren't able to have breakfast - if you stay here and you are lactose intolerant, you might want to bring your own milk. Finally, there is a sign on the front door that states they take AMEX, but they don't - just an FYI. A just ok stay overall.

The only thing is that the check in is 4:00pm and check out is at10:00am, which I wasn't aware of at the time of the booking. We had breakfast included, but at the breakfast room there was a sign where they ask you to be honest and leave a $1 for each coffee pod. It wasn't clear if the coffee was included in your breakfast or not. Overall, it was good.
