Gerardo (9/5): - Alla cascina ci siamo trovati accolti dalla proprietaria Cristina e il suo cagnolone Billy, con estrema cordialità e grande calore. La casa era molto spaziosa e con tutto il necessario. Lo spazio auto era perfetto, davanti all'abitazione che rimane isolata e questo domani estrema privacy durante la permanenza. Bella anche la veranda che affaccia sulle vigne della proprietà. Ottimo il servizio di degustazione offerto da Carlo, il marito e co-proprietario. Ottima qualità prezzo. Unica pecca se proprio è da trovare, che non intacca l'esperienza e la comodità della struttura, nella cucina mancavano alcuni accorgimenti come sale, olio, zucchero utili anche per i brevi pernottamenti. Anche nel bagno, mancava un rotolo supplementare di carta igienica.

Robbie (10/5): A gem - The prefect place to relax in the Piedmont hills near Santo Stefano Belbo (birthplace of Cesare Pavese). Vine covered slopes in all directions around the agriturismo on the top of a ridge reached by winding single carriage roads. Generous sized apartment. Great cooking by Cristina - it is well worth booking dinner with her. Both Cristina and Carlo very friendly, welcoming and helpful. This is my refuge in northern Italy.

Robbie (10/5): A little piece of heaven - A wonderful location perched on top of a hill in the countryside described by Cesare Pavese in his Moon and the Bonfires (why I was here). We had a large apartment and when we opened the blinds in the morning we looked over vineyards and nothing else except mist. Cristina was an exceptional host delaying dinner for hours because we got stuck in the Gotthard Tunnel. The dinner was sublime - my mouth still waters remembering the beef in red wine. Carlo was also very welcoming and took us on a tour of the original farm property telling us about all the clever ways previous generations provided for the needs of the household such as water supply - fascinating. I should have booked a longer stay.
