Guest Reviews
- Mistie (4/5): Smelly - The location and that is all. It was disgusting. The room smelled very badly. There was mascara on the sheets. The bathroom floor was sticky, and the dresser drawers would not close. There was NO breakfast. I would not stay again. I didn't like anything but the location.
- Natalie (10/5): - Room was great. Beds comfortable, tv menu available and very easy to use. Breakfast was awful. Supposed to open at 6:30am. We went at 6:40. Only thing available was a few slices of white bread, gravy in a crock for the biscuits, and a few cereals. Cereal was spilled over the counters. We left and went to McDonald’s.
- Michael (10/5): - Dry nice.
- Bryan (10/5): - Room was very nice and it was nice that it was dog friendly
- Suvra (10/5): - Good
- Blaine (10/5): - Clean quite good value.
- Kenneth (8/5): - Comfy beds, clean, new but free breakfast was lacking. Only biscuits and gravy as hot food. The lame waffle thing, cereal bagels and white bread. No eggs or meat. Yogurt cups only protein.
- Mary (10/5): - Very nice, budget friendly hotel. Room was clean.
- Owen (8/5): - Seemed clean but had a weird smell in the hall and room.
- Alison (10/5): - We always stay here. It is super quiet and clean.
- Joseph (8/5): - Unpleasant mothball type smell in lobby and hallways, very strong in lobby. You can tell it’s an older building and could use some TLC. Very basic breakfast. The room was clean and shower had good water pressure and hot water. Over all, the only thing that would deter another stay is the smell in the lobby and hallways.
- Aaron (10/5): - Slept well, comfy bed and great shower.
- Marilyn (8/5): - Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient. Coffee/tea available 24/7. Several restaurants nearby.
- Nancy (10/5): - The room and halls were clean. The property was simple, but in a good location. It was quiet and the staff pleasant and helpful.
- Gary (10/5): - Good
- Norseman87 (10/5): Great - Great water pressure! Relaxing and quiet area. Afternoon and Evening staff was friendly. The Wifi was decent enough to send emails or browsing online, but I couldn't use it to stream anything, so I had to use mobile Hotspot to stream movies. My only 2 things I didn't like, and not a deal breaker, was the cleaning lady just came on in around 0955 without knocking (checkout wasn't until 1100). And the wifi system could use an upgrade.
- Sherrie (4/5): - Bedding smells like it was sour. Spray didn’t take away the smell
- january (6/5): - my first 2 nights were great. It was quiet, and clean.
on night 3 there was some sort of mass gathering (many people congregated in the parking lot for a party?) but the door banging and loud noises didn't stop until well after midnight.
I turned on the bathroom fan to help drown the noise, but it made the room smell musty when I left it running.
I checked out a day early, and when the (very nice) manager tried to refund me, quality inn actually charged me an extra $40 and did not refund me for the last night I was charged for.
The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice, but I don't think the facility is set up for any kind of sound dampening. The doors should have soft close hinges, instead they SLAM shut unless you stop them, and that sound carries.
It was very jarring to have such loud noises well into the night.
- Sherry (10/5): The facility is clean and the bed is comfortible. - Rooms are clean. Breakfast is very bad. Breakfast.
- Arthur (10/5): -
- Felicia (10/5): - Nice, they mind their business.
- Becky (8/5): -
- Amy (7/5): Mixed feelings - The beds were very comfy. Staff was friendly but hard to find sometimes. My room A/C didn't work very well. The door to my room looked like it had tried to be open without a key ( some of the door by the lock was chipped off. I found a few bugs in my bathroom the next morning I got up. Needless to say, I was gone very early.
- Causey (5/5): Musty - The actual location was great, swimming pool awesome! The staff were nice and helpful The room smelled awful like musty and tgat was the second room we got, the first one smelled like urine and the air knocked so we got a second room which smelled musty I just febrezzed it and air freshener as we could cause I was exhausted and didnt want to move again or find another hotel!!! The electrical outlets on the lamp by beds said there was moisture in them couldn't use them and the one by the TV didn't work that doesn't seem safe to me and the one by the beds on lamp ruined my charger!
- Jeff (10/5): Clean, comfortable and friendly and affordable $ - The entire property is kept clean and maintained. The building is also well maintained and clean. It’s one of the best nights sleep. I’ve had in a while. It was quiet and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Excellent service and accommodations especially for the price. It was way better than I expected.
- Gary (10/5): - overall very nice
- Nancy (10/5): -
- Verified traveler (10/5): It was okay - Stay wasn't horrible. The staff weren't super friendly, but not rude either. Just kind of there. The breakfast was...eh. But they did have biscuits and gravy. It was quiet and clean. Overall, would stay there again.
- Retha (8/5): Satisfied - Pool was very refreshing, shower had lots of water pressure and was nice. Pillows were horrible this time, definitely needs replaced.
- Blaine (10/5): - Good value for room rate.
- Rebecca (4/5): - So the hotel is by the college which is why we picked it. There were maybe one or two other cars in the lot so we pretty much had the hotel to ourselves. Checked in was ok. Nothing over the top or extra friendly about the girl at the desk. Usually they tell us check out times and when breakfast is. This wasn’t done. Ok no biggie. The hotel room was fine. Nice size little refrigerator and the usually amenities. No one told us though the refrigerator was attached to an outlet that was controlled by a switch at the door. We had it off because we didn’t want the light on and didn’t realize the whole wall was controlled by the switch. So the milk that we purchased for my son was almost spoiled by the time we figured out we accidentally stopped the fridge. Ok. Next morning we were packing to get ready to check out. We had the dnd sign on the door as we’ve had it on the whole time because we don’t want people in our room. So check out is 11am and it’s about 10:05am and my husband is changing in the room and I’m playing w my son. I hear a slight, subtle knock, then before I could say anything,I heard the noise for the door unlock and the housekeeper tried to walk in! Again sign on door and husband changing. Not to mention again it wasn’t even check out time. This alone was so unacceptable and makes you wonder why no one else was staying there and how often the housekeeper just goes into rooms w signs on the door or on people that didn’t even say it was ok to enter their room.
- Cheryl (10/5): -
- Guest (4/5): - I requested a crib be ready in the room and the staff kept it ready as asked. Check in experience was great. The room smelled bad and lack of proper glass to heat up milk as lacking and when asked staff in the morning they said they don't have any microwave friendly glass. That doesn't sound right for a hotel that offers breakfast
- Guest (5/5): likely undisclosed mold/leak - The room was clean but there was a very bad mold/mildew smell. When we asked for a different room the front desk said that the hotel was fully booked. However, the parking lot was empty. There were like 4 cars in the entire parking lot and breakfast had only a 2 other people there. NO reduction in charge or anything was offered. the smell was bad but the room looked clean and the bed was very comfy. the smell
- Arthur (9/5): -
- Edward (7/5): It was not as good as our last visits. - Room upon entering had pet odor. Complimentary breakfast needed more variety. Don't do waffles or biscuit and gravy.
- Maryann (8/5): Family trip two nights - Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Very pet friendly with no issues. Enough parking for everything. Room was a little bit out and the only thing I really didn’t care for her in the room was the bed was uncomfortable for my back, but others might like, and it smelled musty from the air condition.
- Elizabeth (7/5): -
- Terry (7/5): I would stay again if the room didn't have the musty smell. - The staff were very accommodating. Breakfast overall was pretty fair. Location of the property was easy on and off the interstate. The room had a definite musty smell. Breakfast biscuits were extremely dry and hard.
- Erin (9/5): - I liked the price, the amount of parking & open space. The breakfast. Needed more of a variety. Include some fruits
- IRA (6/5): A nice motel very clean and convenient . Staff needs to have better attitude toward customers - pool room, clean room, Attitude of staff constantly wanting me to leave room before time to go. Breakfast wasnt sufficient enough.
- Sheila (8/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): - Very clean and the staff was amazing Nothing
- Lori (10/5): Wonderful stay and visit with family. - Close to my family and it’s very clean, the staff is so friendly I have no complaints
- Shihab (6/5): - Poor breakfast
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Everything appeared clean but there were odd odors in the halls and room.
- Retha (8/5): - Location
- Jordan (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Love the pool
- Dorothy (10/5): -
- Rebeccah (10/5): - Did what we needed it to do
- Caitlin (2/5): - The staffing really needs to be trained properly and not be rude. They definitely could use a face lift on room and building. When I asked staff why I was double charged for a pet fee which should have been 50$ it was dbl charged and the staff upfront didn’t have information. Then 2 other workers proceeded to talk about the fact that I have 2 dogs so that’s how it is. Seriously ridiculous how you hire people like this when it clearly states 25 per dog. I won’t stay here again due to the staffing and the room had an odor and ac doesn’t work
- Houseworth (10/5): Took my 88 Year old Mom to visit family and we loved our stay there. - Very clean, staff was very nice, the breakfast was excellent and I will be staying there again Nothing
- Soto (10/5): -
- nabeeh (10/5): Great for resting fro long drive - Quietness Near highways
- Denise (10/5): - Something’s were updated but certainly could do more. Why leave a terrible looking bathroom door? Just paint it if not replace. Add comfort height toilets. Breakfast was not satisfactory. Only Waffles or sausage gravy. Where are assorted bagels, muffins, danish or scrambled eggs
- Carol (10/5): -
- Crystal (6/5): - Room: air was turned off. Was told didn’t run on 2nd floor unless occupied. Smelled terrible. Smell was so terrible door was left open all night - which wasn’t safe.i did report smell to front desk 5 minutes after checking in. That’s when i was told it probably because air conditioner off. No shampoo and conditioner.
Hair Dryer didn’t work.
- Patricia (10/5): - Very clean. Very quiet.
- Penny (10/5): Better - Better than last time..only because my granddaughter and I got there before the pool closed. Beds are comfy and clean. Very quiet. Good place for the price! Staff was very nice
- Michael (6/5): - For the price, this place was okay, but lets end it at that. I fail to see how others could rate this place other than just okay. It's neither good nor excellent. If you want something better, then expect to pay more than these folks charge.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good price - It was a nice hotel. I liked the price and felt it was reasonable. I usually don't like to stay at Quality Inns. But this one exceeded my expectations.
- Laura (10/5): - Great value
- Cody (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (9/5): Superb -
- George (6/5): - It was stated that there was parking for vehicles with trailers and there was not!
- Johnnie (8/5): - Nice place for the price. Toilet was loose, AC was off so room was hot upon arrival. Everything else was nice.
- Jesse (5/5): Booking thru booking.com where I was charged for the room. When I arrived they wanted another credit card for incidental -
- Jeremy (8/5): - Just a clean little spot off the interstate. Old with nothing fancy. Clean and safe
- Cranston (6/5): - Breakfast wasnt good. The bed was nice though
- Carolyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (10/5): - This hotel is an excellent option for this area. The staff was excellent. The room was a great size. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely choose to stay here again.
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (7/5): Good - Carpet around the air/heat unit was soaking wet.
I think this is a common problem in some hotels so I considered it a minor annoyance.
Notified the front desk at checkout.
- Matthew (8/5): Excellent for the price - Very good quality hotel for the cost. Well maintained and clean. Bed was comfortable.
- Chris (8/5): - Excellent property. Incredibly clean in all areas and all of the staff were very friendly. Removed 1 star because the breakfast is incredibly disappointing. They only have white flour and sugar options.
- Annemarie (6/5): - convenient location
- Esther (10/5): Great stay - Room was big, nice king sized bed, desk with rolling chair. Shower had hampoo and conditioner available, also a body wash bar of soap. The night was quite and A/C was good. The shower drained slow but that wasn't a problem for us. The breakfast offered was biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, and bagels. Also cold cereal and yogurt, coffee, apple, pineapple, cranberry and orange were the different juices available.
- Tara (10/5): - Great value for our stay. The shower pressure was AMAZING! I slept very comfortably on the bed, and our room was quite spacious.
- Deana (8/5): - Everyone was kind and courteous.
- Blessing (5/5): Not worth it for the money and would not go back. - The room was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. The musty smell in the room was awful, there was not other vacancy so we couldn't switch rooms. Room definitely needs updated. Lots of caulk in bathroom missing, tape on refrigerator and you can see through cracks in the air conditioner and the window and the door for example. The free breakfast was not neat and tidy and not a lot of options.
- Joy (10/5): - Convenient and clean
- Tom (2/5): Dirty hotel, room did not match hotel reservation - They didn’t have a room with 2 beds as our reservation was booked for. They then charged us $10 for a roll away bed. The beds were small and my family of 4 struggled to fit.The room had dead bugs on the floor, the room smelt due to lack of ac running, the television did not work nor did the microwave. The front desk attendant would not assist with changing our room or allowing us to cancel or reservation.
- Eddie (4/5): - Needs an update and not just lipstick on a pig. No AC was on in the room when I walked in and the musty smell was HORRIBLE. after the room cooled down it was a little better. Room just felt dirty. Bathroom door is coming apart, and when I turned the shower on, two dead bugs come out of the faucet.
- Anonymous (3/5): Poor - This “hotel” was the biggest waste of money. Upon opening the door to our room, we were hit with the mustiest odor and stale air. It was so damp and heavy that I found it hard to breathe.
The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was decent. They allow pets for a low price so we heard many dogs barking. Very strange loud noises outside our window (sounded like fireworks but not as loud) for about an hour around midnight.
The breakfast was so sad. Carbs and stale coffee.
Overall, I regret choosing this as a place to stay and would not recommend to anyone.
- Gregg (4/5): - The fire alarm was missing (looked to be ripped off the wall), strong smelly odor, the tv is old and has a grid pattern of white dots in the screen. Breakfast was minimal.
- Angie (8/5): - Basic clean room. Young lady at reception was very sweet!
- Ramon (6/5): - It was ok
- Anonymous (6/5): Decent hotel, especially for the price. - Clean beds and clean bathroom Dirty carpet, well-worn towels
- Sheila (5/5): Not likely to stay here again - Microwave, refrigerator was available
Price was great for the room No towels to leave pool area when returning to the room - never thought to bring a towel from the room at a hotel with an inside pool
Breakfast not permitted to return to the room
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Just spent one night as I was heading through town. I really like this hotel’s location. It was quieter and more safe than the next exit where prices were higher. It’s an older, small hotel but it’s nicely maintained! Friendly staff, clean room, close to the artisan shop. I’d stay again.
- Donah (9/5): Great place to stay - Location was perfect, room was spacious and clean, nice hot shower and water pressure. It was quiet.
- Ra (10/5): Relaxing and clean - Soft beds and pillows
- Utnage (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff, great location, no interstate noise. Close to gas stations and Dollar General. Room and bathroom clean. Room had a damp feel and musty odor.
- Kyung-il (6/5): - Stayed in the second floor. One half side had a weird odor like mold along the hall way. Even the bed room had mixed bad odor. Front desk kindly changed to another room. Second one was okay. No outside view. The brick wall stands right front of the window.
- Tawayna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (8/5): Great for the price - The beds were comfortable The breakfast. We ended up just drinking a little juice and heading on our way
- Gray (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rocky (9/5): Better than Expected! - Beautiful room, very clean and well taken care of. Was very quiet, and appeared to be full. Morning staff was exceptional!
