• ingusm2026 (10/5): Good small place - Overall, we had a very positive experience! We spent 4 lovely days there, and it was great value for the money. We really loved that the hotel was not overcrowded in these month, so the pool was never packed, there was always space in the sunbathing area, and we didn’t have to wake up extra early to reserve loungers by the pool. The room was okay-ish — we’ve definitely seen better, but also worse. We didn’t like the dirty curtains and carpet, although the carpet was removed on the second day. The door lock was also a bit fussy at first, the shower drain was a bit tight, the plumbing is new, but the walls could use some cosmetic work. The staff is constantly busy cleaning and tidying up the grounds, and it's noticeable, but it's nice to see that they care.. The staff were very friendly and polite. The room service guy always did his best to surprise us with creative towel art and flowers on the bed whenever we came back from longer walks. He made cleaning every day, we leave him tips after that. The food was good, especially considering that we’re not picky eaters and we love vegetables. Animation was poor (maybe becouse of tourists quantity) but in the city are some places to visit. For two adults on a short stay, we left feeling satisfied, relaxed, and well-rested. Price = quality=100%❤️🙏
• K4377URjuliel (2/5): Unacceptable for disabled clients as I am of reduced mobility - Unacceptable for disabled clients you either have to climb stairs to get down to pool area or to climb up stairs to get to the reception area there is no middle, offered another room downstairs but same problem would have occurred , restaurant was up a steep incline with 4 more steps after that i had no choice but to eat in the room and stay on the balcony. Staff are brilliant i must add rooms are clean but disabilty access let it down unfortunately there is no happy medium hotel description does not mention this difficulty and Love Holidays dont want to know
• sumerr2025 (6/5): It was good for the value we paid - Our first room smelt of drainage so asked to move, next room was fine. Room was very old and needed some TLC, the whole place needs some TLC. Bathroom wasn’t pleasant. Food was okay! Breakfast we had fresh omelettes everyday. Lunch was always better than dinner. Meat was always very fatty and full of bones imo. Drinks were a bit of a disappointment, no hot chocolate and sometimes flat. Staff were very nice, karim is lovely always asked us how we were! Had a couples massage and it was great, he made our whole holiday so much better! One of the waiters was lovely too and saved us a table everyday and done our drinks! Overall we had a nice holiday 🥰

• rebeccaeD4204OB (2/5): Complete and utter disappointment - When we arrived we quickly realised this hotel wasn't going to be that we are used to when we come to Egypt and requested the next day to be moved, on the beach were unreachable and the rep said he cant help until on the beach confirmed so we decided to stop stressing and make the best of it. The weather was glorious, the pool was nice and there is enough to do in the area to keep you busy in the day. The heated pool however is more like a water feature that the small children play in and it quite dirty. The food on the first night was terrible, breakfast is awful and I skipped it every day. The lunches and dinners dis improve as the week went on and were quite enjoyable altho EXTREMELY repetitive and a little bland, nothing to get excited about, I think I actually lost weight on this holiday. The timings for lunch and dinner are when it suits them, it'll say 12 on the schedule but u go along and they say come back at 1. You arw allowed ice cream at 4pm everyday for a half an hour window, in winter it starts to cool down at get dark around that time. There are no snacks through the day either just breakfast lunch and dinner. Pretty much everything in this hotel is broken, patio door didn't lock, air con didn't work, pool table is mouldy, tiles everywhere are broken. The hotel is full of Russians and it seems they like it that way, they dont seem to like the English, the man at reception is rude, man at the bar rude, I walked into the bar and everyone drinking pretty cocktails I asked if he could make me a pretty cocktail so I could take a picture he made me two drinks in regular glasses whilst at the same time making a pretty cocktail and took the pretty cocktail to someone else! We are leaving today and are currently being harassed about a towel that is missing from our room and they're asking for money for it, I said the kids would have left it around the pool and a cleaner must have picked it up but he is getting ruder and ruder and im actually worried he is going to call the police while we are trying to leave. The room wasn't cleaned, I has to ask at reception for it to be cleaned, they still didn't come, I asked again the next day and someone came but they made me pick up everything off the floor (few items of clothing and shoes) before they would clean it. The room was cleaned that one time all week, no clean towels, nothing. When we first arrived there were not enough beds in our room and I had to argue with the receptionist to het another bed brought in, the expected my 2 teenage children to share a single bed!! The double bed was quite comfortable but the single beds were awful yoy could feel all the springs in it and the fold out bed they brought in sunk in the middle. Every hotel ive been to in Egypt they want to help you, bring you drinks ect, here my son went the bar for a drink and got shouted at because we have too many of their cuts and he made my son collect the cups and bring them back. The evening entertainment is an hour and a half of sod all, I went a few times but it was so boring, no bar there you have to walk to reception where the 1 and only bar is, with 1 member of staff so sometimes you'll wait 30 minutes for a drink. The entertainment area is a spot of pavement and some grass with lawn chairs, the speakers have blown so everything they do sounds awful from start to finish. Ive been to better bbqs. I was in bed by 9 every night. We had a nice holiday in spite of this hotel not because of it
• 49allysong (10/5): Pleasantly surprised :) - We weren’t expecting a lot from this trip just some winter sun but wow most of the people are amazing. The airport experience and transfer was a bit of a faff, may do a private transfer next time. Hotel not in main sharm area but we are happy with that, bus to beach if you want it and everything we need for a relaxing break. Most days spent around hotel pool area our choice. Restaurant has a great variety of food for our taste and the drinks are good too. Told you can grab a taxi into main town for £2. There is a fun team that does activities all through the day and evening, not just for children either. The staff are second to none, so helpful and willing to go out of the way for whatever you need Had few issues with our room but they were fixed. It’s not as clean as I’d like but saying that you get what you pay for and the staff make up for that. They work very hard. They are very welcoming to people from the UK .

• robbZ2647LD (6/5): Old Vic - very average - This hotel would have been great about 10 years ago, unfortunately it is now showing its age which was not helped by its very gaudy Christmas and New Year light display at the front. Paint looks bad, facilities are terrible, room fixtures loose or off mountings. Room fridges either dont work or when turned on create warm air. Beds were extremely comfortable. Absolutely terrible catering, chip rolls became the cornerstone and 5kg lost over the week. Drinks are not chilled except cans at their separate beach area. Coke/Fanta/Sprite are all served from 2 litre plastic bottles so often flat. Drink details show Stella and Heineken but Stella is a local beer and no sign of Heineken! Very week wifi available in the reception area only. Staff are always tricky to evaluate due to the heavy tips based culture but there were some stand outs around the pool and restaurant areas.

A very well run resort. No need to pay Swiss prices, stay here instead. Internet in room would have been nice but then I would have been online when I should be outside under the sun. Otherwise zero complaints.

• Excursion27492645091 (4/5): 2 star hotel, but not 4 star like they say - Rooms are terrible and dirty. Everything is broken, lihgt bulbs are not replaced. Door enter cards won't work. Windows are broken and not sealed so a lot of noise from the street. Food plates and cups are broken and dirty. Barmen drinks himself at the bar and one time even vomited on the floor. Don't take taxi from hotel it charges 5x time more. Instead use app for taxi InDrive. Food is average but there is some days when you can see that they are using previuos day food. Alcohol is very bad.
• maz74swin (6/5): Staff great - We stayed for 14 nights The hotel was clean , the grounds are kept lovely and staff were excellent. Really went out of there way to make you feel welcome. Especially the private beach staff ,free shuttle bus to the beach and the bus driver that took us to the beach was great aswell We found that the hotel wasn't really catered for English. There was no labels on the food to say what it was and hot food was put ontop of cooling food, we went down the road every day for dinner , We only had breakfast here . Toaster took several goes through to be slightly toasted . Fridge in room wasnt cold ,reported to reception and was told its working its slim cold ? Air conditioning wasnt working for the first week ,was brilliant once fixed . Cleaners were exceptionally good.. our room was done every day . Clean towels, bins empty etc .. no complaints there , I just think this hotel could be better with a few adjustments But staff as I said were great.

• Aoife (8/5): Okay if you consider a trip to Antarctica during a MardiGras enjoyable - Guy on the front desk was very nice to deal with. Staff in general were nice. Room was clean. We only stayed for one night as a last minute change of plans with taking a flight from Cairo instead of bus. Air con is one speed and felt like sleeping in front of a wind turbine. Had to sleep with the duvet over my head or I would have gotten frost bite. Very loud music playing at the pool in the morning was a little bit annoying but had we been there to enjoy the pool and drinks, I would probably have liked it. One of the staff walked into our room unannounced while we were on the balcony at 11.30am to ask us if we were going to be checking out on time at 12pm!

• Hao (1/5): Really bad experience. - Aircon is not working!!! Really hot in the room. Ask stuff for one juice, but he wanted to charge me, apparently that is included in the room fee, and he didn’t charge other guests. Really bad experience.
• 226lyt (10/5): 8 days as 1 day - Nice quiet place, hotel staff always smiling and calm. There were some problems with the room, but they were not significant. Everything was fine . Good drinks at the bar near the pool, they did not mind the alcohol. The food could have been more varied, but this did not upset us too much. We are sure that the hotel will gain more strength and then do everything much better. The room cleaners are very creative, they always left us funny exhibits in the form of towels, we laughed and this gave us positive. The hotel animators, young guys, always tried to attract attention and gather everyone for games or dicksotek and other events. But sometimes there were not enough people and I think this was not part of their plans. They are also very positive, kind and always treated us with a smile. It was always necessary to go down for water, this is not a problem, but the cleaners could have left them. In general, a very quiet and good place. Definitely suitable for a family.

The room is clean, cleaned daily, towels and bedding were changed regularly. The territory is well-groomed, there are a lot of greenery and flowers, the pools are clean, there were enough sunbeds for everyone. The food is varied, you can always find something delicious: fruits, desserts. I would especially like to note the animation team, which made our vacation bright and unforgettable. The best animation team, which charged us with energy every day - Yousef and Omar. Mini disco, aqua aerobics, animations, it was all just amazing. We will definitely come back again!!!

When i was there the guy behind the count poured hot food on top of cold food .the so called executive chef sits smoking when service is on .my room got cleaned once in 4days when you complain they di nothing . Also my cleaner barged in to my room after 2 days and said i was due to check out . I booked for 10 days.the bar man behind the pool bar very lazy went missing all the time. Do not book here

• 28bibigulm (10/5): My first time here in Sharm and thanks to the people who made it an amazing experience 🥰 - I like staying here in Old Vic, cost is suitable for people who is first time in Sharm El Sheikh. Room is good, but need some new furniture and carpets as carpets in the room is too old and not clean. It is not negative comment it’s just my recommendation. However staff are very friendly people they are always smiling and they are cleaning rooms every day. Rooms are very spacious and cleaned everyday. The pool is large and very well looked after. We will definitely return.

• michaelbN8305JH (8/5): Simple but good ,but they need to address a few things - Let me state first I’m visually impaired so my rating my not reflect the hotel totally This place was quite simple but in a good way The negatives first the room Very dim lighting and severe lack of plug sockets The shower door was a bit dodgy as well The beer was very limited at times been served in small glasses one at a time and they ran out several times over 6-7 times during my stay and WiFi is terrible only working in a very hot and stuffy humid bar area, The positive are definitely some of the staff in my opinion osama in pool bar was excellent but a young gentlemen in the restaurant called Sami was so good went above any expectation The food was good and the hotel clean everywhere . I think cos it’s was easy to get around I would go back. Thank you old vic
• Companion12603403303 (10/5): Overall good place for the value - Overall good place for the value. Food was better than expected, two kinds of freshly cooked meat always available. Pool area is clean and sun-beds comfortable. Pool is without heating so can be a bit on the colder side during February. Every night different entertainment events. Drinks are also good, barman Hassan is the best, very friendly and polite. Hotel is located far from sea, free bus available to beach 3x a day. Other beach in 15min walking distance, entrance 2€, recommend this one for snorkelling. Old sharm area near with short taxi drive, definitely use taxi app Indrive as taxi drivers from the street offer many times higher price. On the low side, we had booked premium room but they tried to give us the regular one with the terrace facing big brick wall, luckily we asked and got the right room but be aware. There is a spa at the area but they are also trying to trick you, promised 1h couple massage but did only 35min, after massage the lady that sold it to us was not there anymore to ask and avoided us the rest of our stay. Keep in mind that drinking water is available only when bar is working so no water during night or early morning which is disturbing as sink water is of course not drinkable. Rooms should need some renovation, especially bathroom area. But to let the flaws aside, I would recommend the place for this price.

• Ahmed (7/5): Good - The stuff are so kind and helpful, the pool and the beach are amazing. The room was big with balcony. Some of the food was good and other very bad. I asked for a king bed and I didn't get it. The blackout curtains were torn. The air conditioner was very weak. The animation team was very poor.

Beautiful and spacious courtyard with an excellent pool for adults and children. Beautiful, varied and very tasty food. The cooks are great! I want to express our gratitude to the reception staff and their manager for their attention and respect, Excellent location and homely atmosphere. We didn’t want to leave this hotel!!! • Ahmad (10/5): Perfect, luxury for reasonable amount of money - Everything is exceptional, starting before checking in, the manager Mr. Ahmed Ismail called me and offered early check in for free and when i arrived it was almost 10 and the room with ready and it took only 3 minutes ! Mr. Ahmed is exceptional manager who knows how to make you very satisfied with your stay. The stuff were nice and friendly providing whatever you need, the food variety was good and the quality was very good. I had very comfortable stay and felt like home and definitely will be back to Old Vic :) I couldn't find any negative point :)

• Carl (10/5): Exceptional - I wish I knew the sheesha bar was shut as it was the main reason we booked it, also the spa was closed with no notice aswell. These things should be told before we book. Hassan behind the bar was amazing, made our holiday and we made a friend that day. Animation team was great, they tried very hard even with very little customers, and very funny. To many people to mention but a few honorary mentions. Hassan hassan the legend. Osoma the barman. Yuossef the shop keeper. Mamoud the pool boy. Animation crew (mr smooth) Will be back again because of these people Key card stopped working twice a day for the room. Food wasn’t great but cheap food elsewhere.

• Jennifer (2/5): - This is a very, very old property and doesn't really look anything like the photos. I would not recommend for anyone to stay here. I found hairs in my linens when I first arrived, and my bathroom wasn't clean. The internet does not work properly, despite the hotel informing me that it would. I also could not find food to eat most of my stay (I'm vegan) and the staff has little to no comprehension of English, so it made it very difficult to communicate. Overall, would not stay again.
• Geoffrey (6/5): - This is a tired and pretty run down property. The staff were pleasant enough, but not overly helpful. For example, the WiFi would not connect in my room. Which was inconvenient because I needed it for work. The hotel would not move me to another room and didn’t resolve the problem. The food options were poor, the lobby and lobby bar swarmed with mosquitos, and I had to spend some time every evening killing mosquitoes in my room. I was on the ground floor and the sliding glass doors which faced onto an unsecured alley area were not lockable- lock was broken, which was not comforting. Room safe didn’t work. Generally the hotel and rooms are tired, blood spots all over the walls and ceiling from guests killing mosquitoes. There was a fair amount of mold in the shower. On the plus side, the Pool area was nice, and the housekeeper who cleaned my room was very pleasant.

I tried one dinner and 2 breakfast (which I had included) and decided not to go there anymore. The wifi only worked when I was on the balcony and not inside the room.
• MARINA (8/5): Отличный отдых - Летели из Москвы авиокомпанией Пегасус,прилёт был в 2 ночи.В отели нас уже ждали,в номере был накрыт ужин ,сендвич,банан ,клубника и апельсины ,у нас было 2 номера ,один кВ 60 и 2-ой чуть поменьше ,номера в хорошем состоянии,за номер доплат не было,теперь по питанию ,готовят очень вкусно ,нам очень понравилось выпечка великолепна,всегда есть гриль ,рыба ,мясо,курица ,и приготовлено всё очень качественно и вкусно,фруктов как и во всех отелях ,мандарины ,финики,грейфрукт,гуава нам хватало.Теперь о пляже,есть два пляжа,один платный вход,1$ и второй возит трансфер,автобус всегда возит по расписанию,про этот пляж пишут что лужа,ребята пройдите 500метров в право и перед вами открыты все красоты Красного моря.Отелю поставлю оценку 5 из 5,отель советую,берите с собой хорошее настроение и все будет хорошо.
