- esakoo (8/5): - Place was perfectly clean and quiet on the middle of the village In May the restaurants closed by 16 and the minimarket opening hours? It was open, when it was open.

- Shirley (1/5): Potentially dangerous state of disrepair - My room was in a poor state of repair. In particular, the electrical socket in my bedroom caused my laptop to black out as soon as I plugged it in. A message then came up on my laptop warning me to disconnect or it could cause damage my PC. When I examined the socket I could see it was not fixed securely into the wall. When I tried to move the bed a little to gain access to the other electrical socket, the heavy bed frame collapsed. The electrical socket by the kettle in the communal kitchen was similarly not fixed securely into the wall. There were other, less traumatic issues - the heavy wardrobe doors stick making them difficult to open. The drawers in the chest of draws are the same. The shower was not as clean as it should be - hair wrapped around the water outlet. Perhaps the other rooms were better but, sadly, my stay here was not a pleasant experience.
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful great host plan on returning
- Neale (5/5): Passable -
- Ly (10/5): Exceptional - The location and the apartment were perfect, meticulously clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, outside areas sunny and enjoyable. All was very nice and safe.
- Adrian (5/5): A suitable place for those who do not expect too much and want to travel easily around the island. - What I liked the most was the kindness of the lady who welcomed us and handed us the keys. I found her to be a very cheerful and hospitable person. I don’t want to focus on the cleanliness issues, but rather emphasize her kindness, thanking her for the pleasant stay. However, the bathroom cleanliness needs attention. You cannot hand over a room with such dirt. And above all… that’s all. What we did not like about the place was finding a lot of dirt inside the drain plug, that slot where the water goes down in the shower. Without shoes or slippers, you really can’t take a shower, otherwise, you could catch some foot diseases. We highlight the very poor cleanliness of the shower, to the point where we had to buy a cleaner and sanitizer ourselves. We were not expecting something like this because for 190 euros for two nights, that is 80 euros per night, we can understand the general situation, considering the area, but we cannot understand poor services, and certainly not such poor cleanliness in the shower. In the rest of the room and the kitchen, everything was in order, but the bathroom was disastrous.
I regret having to point out this issue regarding cleanliness, but it should be fundamental. The services are appreciated as they are on the island, and the lady was absolutely kind. However, the person who took care of cleaning the room before our check-in did not do a good job at all. It is certainly not the owner’s fault, but rather the fault of whoever did the cleaning, which I want to clarify. This situation cannot be managed in this way; the cleaning must be done properly.
Furthermore, it must be noted that when two people check into a property, they should have, being in 2024, the possibility to pay through multiple methods, instead of having to leave cash on a desk on the day of check-out, without even being able to obtain a receipt for the actual payment. I’m sorry, but this is another situation that is simply unacceptable. We understand the difficulties, and we are aware of the situation, but even the local banking system does not allow you to withdraw cash. So, in this case, be prepared with cash because the property does not accept credit cards. I believe it is absolutely wrong, in 2024, not to have the option to make payments through various methods, except for cash.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasper (7/5): Good - Fataga is a pretty place. Having breakfast alongside the pool between sunny mountains is nice. The apartment is not large, but has everything you need. The apartment looked clean, but the floor and cutlery were not.
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful home greatly decorated, lovely hostess she even gave us a lift into maspalomas such kindness. Nothing
- Edzard (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful village nestled in the mountains. Perfect for hikers. We were well received by the owners. The shared spaces are spacious and have a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom had a strong odor, and the beds creaked enormously. Woke up multiple times during the night due to the loud creaking when moving in the bed. Unfortunately, the pool was unexpectedly closed for maintenance. Note: restaurant opening hours in the village are incorrect; dining or drinking in the evening is only possible at a cafeteria.
- Ela (1/5): Unhappy because the house was very dirty - They don’t serve the breakfast. The all house was very dirty. We had hot water just at the shower. Also the laundry i think there were used.
- Stephen (10/5): What a great few days in paradise - The property was in a beautiful location, was very clean and well thought out, everything was just great
- Oneida (7/5): Agaradable y tranquila. -
- Jaromir (5/5): Passable - Located just at the main road. Small swiming pool with clean water. Close to minimarked and restaurant. Large shared fully featured kitchen and living room. Terasa with grill (for those who want). This could be very nice place to stay but... ...but it fails in basic maintenance. Many things that failed are temporarily fixed. The door to my room scratched against the floor whenever I opened them. They stopped half open. In the kitchen the drawer with knives, forks, etc is broken. The cabinet above the refrigerator is falling. The light cover on the ceiling also seems to be falling down. The sliding door is difficult to open because there is a broken wheel at the bottom (probably). There were ants everywhere. There is no curtain in the shower corner, so when you take a shower, the water is sprayed everywhere. Even on toilet. When out at the swiming pool I hear beeping in technology area of the pool. Every two second. Electrical outlet in bath room is temproarly screwed by hudge screws. Somewhat dangerous. The TV is connected to extension cord which is glued by silicon on the wall. This is acceptable, but the extension cord is 3 wires while electrical outlet is only two wires. There is a risk of electrical shock.
Entering gate from the street could not be closed.
Some documents should be translated to english for those who do not understand spain.
I would not choose this place again. I am sorry.
- Lida (6/5): Quiet apartment in the mountains - Stayed for 2 nights, quiet apartment with kitchen and spacious bathroom. Bed headboard was loose and vibrating with every touch.
Mattress felt old and none too comfortable.
Hot water was spotty, especially in the mornings.
As with many rural houses it has problem with ants, no food or even crumbs can be left anywhere.
- Mike (8/5): Very good - Casa Elisa Canarias is located in a picturesque village called Fataga. We wanted something different from beach hotels and we were satisficed with our choice. The room had a private parking place and kitchen. There are hiking tracks nearby, one day we walked to the neighbor little town San Bartolomé, which took about 2 hours one-way. The village has 3 restaurants. We used mostly a place called El Albaricoque, it has great service, a nice terrace and provides good local food, only opening hours could be longer. It was not important for us (we stayed most of the time outside), but the room has only a few windows, so no nice views from the room. Also there is no private balcony/terrace, but the shared pool area is available and big enough.
- Šinkovský (9/5): Superb - Clean, neat, small apartment well equipped and decorated. Nice small patio for dining.
- Doru (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ursula (9/5): Superb - Owner is super friendly and helpful! House is stunning, there's three (?) rooms all together, with shared kitchen and salon. We met our room neighbours once, otherwise it was all for us. Kitchen is huge and very vell equipped. Beds are big and comfy, bathroom is clean and works well. Backyard is adorable, green fake grass, several sun beds, grills, pool etc. You will love your stay here! Has nothing to do with the house, but area tends to close all the restaurants very early. There's once place open after 7pm, and food there is only mediocre.
