- shairamariev2018 (10/5): Overnight Stay - We only had an overnight stay in this hotel since we spent most of our days in El Nido. The room was clean and it was huge complete with a table and chair for those who will be working while on vacation. The breakfast was also good. But the thing I loved the most here was the people. Nobody failed to smile. They would even initiate a little chitchat about your Palawan trip, which made us feel more homey. Wish we stayed longer. :)

- nataliaa301 (10/5): Best cheap accommodation around - We stayed in Royale Parc after our fiasco attempt to stay in the Blue coconut on arrival in Puerto Princesa and we’ve struck the gold mine! It’s Zen Rooms chain hotel. Amazingly it’s only £13 a night including breakfast for a big double room with nice shower, wardrobes, tables, tv, good WiFi (which is rare for Philippines), parking, security guy who actually stays outside all night and hot water (which is rare too!). We could not be happier when we’ve arrived. We came at 10am and they checked us in without a question. Staff is amazing and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble from sorting out a bike hire for a good price for a week to getting our laundry done before our flight. They also found space for our bags that we’ve left behind for 4 days when we went up to El Nido. We stayed here for 2 nights before our trip to El Nido and on the way back we decided to book it again for 2 nights before our flight to Manila as it’s the cleanest and the most comfortable accommodation we had anywhere in Philippines. Up in El Nido we tried 3 different places and had a tiny, humid, outdated, mouldy, smelly, dirty rooms with only cold water and paid from £20 to £30 a night. (Not sure how they justify prices like that. We found Philippines to be extremely expensive with prices very close to UK ones). This is definitely the best budget hotel we’ve seen around and I can not recommend it enough. It’s a little out of the way it’s true but not massively. It’s still in Puerto Princesa so the underground river tour bus came and picked us up (which again was sorted by the lovely receptionists). There’s tricycles everywhere in the day and in the evening there’s always one parked outside next door which will take you anywhere for 50-100 pesos depending on where you going. 10 minutes ride and you in the heart of the city. It was a good compromise for us for a peaceful night sleep and a good hotel. 10 minute walk and you are on pristine beach (not exactly but see for yourself). This hotel is an absolute gem!
- GenPad (8/5): Affordable, Spacious, Adequate Tables, Cabinets - We stayed in a family room. Very spacious amd clean with a door divider equivalent to 2 rooms already with 2 bathrooms. We paid about Php 2700 per night. They have wide table per room if u need to do some office work. They have adequate cabinets to store your things. Hotel staff are friendly and accomodating. Only the CR is not so impressive but is decent enough and spacious.
- yzavellae (10/5): Affordable Accommodation - We stayed at Royale Parc Hotel for 2 nights and they gave us special affordable rates. They even upgraded our room from standard to Deluxe room. The staff are friendly and super accommodating. The rate includes free breakfast and free airport transfers. The internet connection is very good. It's far a bit from the town center. But if you are looking for quiet place to stay this is the perfect place for you.
