- michelleganust (4/5): Not impressed - We had a wedding and called to reserve a room several MONTHS in advance. We expressed concern that I am severely allergic to dogs and cats, which triggers severe asthma and worried that I would end up with a room that had had an animal in it prior. We have had good luck with Marriott, but they have always been so accommodating and put us in a room on the top floor, indicating that most people with animals (including those who sneak them into hotels that prohibit them) stay on one of the lower floors. Fairfield Inn & Suites Moses Lake assured us that they could accommodate us in that way and would make sure we got a room on the top floor for our four-night stay. We were relieved. However, when we arrived, they had a room for us on the BOTTOM floor. After much talk, they finally agreed to let us have a room on the second floor. I was so wary because I have a difficult time getting the asthma under control once triggered, so it was a gamble. As it turned out, I was okay, but I was okay IN SPITE of their efforts, not because of them. If they were unwilling to accommodate us, I wish they had been honest and upfront when we initially called. Three out of the four nights, kids ran up and down the halls pounding on doors at 10:30 at night. We called the front desk and I know others did too. I have never stayed in any hotel that did not have a closet. This room instead had a small and very inadequate wardrobe for hanging short items such as shirts and pants. I had two dresses for the wedding and had no place to hang them. There were no extra pillows or blankets anywhere in the room and there was one single office chair, but otherwise nowhere to sit other than on the bed. I know Fairfield is not a full Marriott, but we had assumed there would be a similar level of hospitality and integrity in this chain. It was our first time to stay in a Fairfield and likely our last. We were not impressed.

- Timothy (6/5): - Got stuck in their elevator with six other people for over 90 minutes. The fire department said they came out there regularly to get people out. The service log posted in the elevator said it was more than 40 days expired. The staff working at the hotel did not seem to care and were happy to have all seven of us wait 2.5 hours for a technician to drive from Seattle. My recommendation is take the stairs.

- ericapB9946VZ (2/5): Bedbugs - I stayed at the Fairfield Inn on business on 10/2/24. I woke up today covered in bedbug bites. I called in to report this and spoke to Jen (?). I don’t feel that this was taken seriously. She suggested that perhaps I had incurred the bites during recreational activities. However, this is definitely not the case. I am an RN and was seeing patients all day and came straight to the hotel at the end of the day. I was told that they have never had a problem with bedbugs in the past, but she would “look into it.” I get the feeling that that isn’t going to happen, as she didn’t take down my room number or ask my name. The room was 329, if anyone cares. My hope is that they will hire an exterminator to “look into it” because nobody should have to deal with this. Especially at the “bargain “ price of $230 a night.

- lisabQ2258IN (2/5): WATCH OUT! You may get scammed! - I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and stay over 20 nights in Marriott hotels last year. I stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Moses Lake for a work event a few weeks ago and was shocked when I saw my credit card was charged over $400. When I called to hotel I was told that I smoked in my room. The interesting part of that is that I am not a smoker, never have been. When I was on the phone I was told "you smoked in your room." It was beyond frustrating to the point I was in tears. I asked for proof and although they said the would provide their official documentation right away I had to call back to get it over a day later. They then sent a screenshot of a text conversation (very official) that included a photo they said showed ash on the bathroom countertop but I couldn't zoom in on the picture well enough to see anything and you couldn't even tell if it was actually in a hotel room, let alone the room I was in. I am beyond frustrated because I have never had anything happen like this before in my life and feel like I am being scammed. Fair warning from a non-smoker about what could happen to you.

I called before booking to confirm there was a pool, only to learn upon arrival that the pool was closed for remodeling. - Jason (7/5): Good - We've stayed there many times. It's always clean and staff are courteous and helpful. We left our room around 9 Fri morning and returned around 6 pm to find that our room had not been cleaned. Also, the toilet paper was akin to sand paper without all the sand, therefore, making it even more inept at it's intentional use

- Mary (7/5): Good - I was unable to turn the light off above the coffee alcove which I found to be bothersome. The room was stuffy whenever it turned off. There was no option for a constant fan. I would have like to have had HULU and amazon prime as channel choices. Would be nice if the store area in the lobby offered adult beverages. Beer or wine would be nice.
