- Paul (10/5): - The Far View was a wonderful place to stay. The house is beautiful, the writeup about the house is very fun to read. Our room was the last available for the nights we were there. So it was a bit tight. But it was very clean and comfortable. We spent some time sitting in the living area, which was very nice. Breakfasts were very, very good. I have gluten allergies and the owner/cook went out of his way to accommodate. This is in the older part of Brenham and it was wonderful to take morning walks. And the downtown was bustling. We went out for dinner and music, sitting outside. It did not hurt that weather was Texas/Fall/Perfect! If we are back in Brenham, this is the first place I will check. It was a great experience.

The property offers pool and courtyard with sitting areas it also offers hot tub but was not very clean and the paths were not cleared for safe walking could cleanup around the property. The room was comfortable but shower would run of hot water.

- belindawY526PJ (10/5): Wonderful time in the Carriage House! - We stayed in the Carriage House. It was perfect for our "girls weekend." One mom, two daughters, and one granddaughter. We had plenty of room, and my granddaughter loved the cats that roam around. She was entertained the whole weekend with cats, the pool, and the hot tub. This is a rather quaint B&B, and it feels quite secluded. Lots of privacy. The included breakfast is quite fancy and delicious. We will likely go there again.

It was very clean but only had one chair which was located in the closet area, no place to really put things to do makeup, hair, etc. No place in bathroom to put things. The pics in the ad did not depict a small room.

We had a fantastic time , loved the room , the pool , the grounds and especially the delicious breakfasts that Steve prepared. We definitely will be returning here when we visit our daughter again .
- marymaudh (10/5): Relaxing and refreshing. - This is a lovely venue with very calming vibes, especially as you explore the grounds. There are nice outdoor spaces to sit and relax in. The only suggestion would be to provide the non glass drink receptacles which are required in the pool area. The breakfast was fresh and nicely presented.

From the beautiful property to the great Balcony Room, to the marvelous breakfast...we couldn't ask for more. We will be staying in the future at Far View Bed & Breakfast, but with my husband and other daughter next time!

Breakfast was delicious, all fresh and homemade. The grounds were nice, and I’m sure they will be spectacular come spring. The innkeepers were very nice, taking time to get to know guests and offering suggestions for excursions in the area. I enjoyed my stay very much!

- Maps50579398367 (10/5): A Gracious Taste of Old Brenham (1925) - It is the fifth year my wife and I stay at the Far View Bed & Breakfast while doing the Marburger Farm Antique Show in Round Top, Texas. We have always enjoyed our stay there. It is a very nice estate, located in a quiet neighborhood of Brenham, close to downtown, shops, and restaurants. Steve and Lynda do a wonderful job at welcoming us and making us feel at home. The rooms are very nice and spacious with very comfortable beds. They are very clean and well kept. We are served a very nice breakfast to help us start the day. I highly recommend it.

The owners(?)/caretakers are great. The breakfast is amazing! Homemade and cooked for you when you sit down. Soooo good and a lot of food, my sister and I couldn’t eat it all. - Seaside30663512918 (10/5): wonderful place - The wife and I just got back from a quick the Brenham, TX. We stayed at the Far View B&B ans it was fabulous. Everything from the room to the common area to the dinning area to the kitchen was squeaky clean. The grounds were well kept albeit somewhat crowded. They even had a swimming pool. And, Steve served wonderful breakfasts. I would recommend this place for a weekend or a week.

- seanwS9143BB (10/5): When you need to relax. - Always relaxing, treated like family. Excellent food and conversation. Property is a hidden oasis, it has a pool, hot tub, green spaces and is plenty of shade trees. Not far to from Houston. A must visit for couples the want to enjoy a quick trip.

- WayfarerOneEleven (10/5): Wonderful Stay! - What a great place for a little get away. Although you feel like you are isolated in your own little cozy world, you are minutes away from all conveniences. The house is located on some land, with lots of greenery and walkways. Parking is on site, and there is plenty of it. We did not use the hot tub or the pool, but they were there for those who were so inclined. The house itself has an imposing edifice, and the inside is well taken care of, beautifully decorated and clean. Our room was The Balcony, and had a lovely view and table and chairs for sitting outside. Bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. We were pleasantly surprised when our towels were changed out the following day, without asking. (that doesn't seem to happen anymore!) There was an interesting book on the history of the house in our room, which made a good read. Steve and Lynda were great hosts (hope you're feeling better Lynda!) and the breakfasts were delicious. We are going to make this our go to place in Brenham from now on. Definitely recommend!

- maryjoyg2021 (8/5): Enjoyed the pool and breakfast! - Historic bed and breakfast, nice pool and delicious breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed a Memorial Day weekend get away at the Far View B&B in Brenham. Bed and pillow were comfortable, didn't hear noise from any of the other rooms, and being able to use the pool was a big plus since it was a hot, humid weekend.
- 328macb (10/5): Home Away From Home - Comfortable, centrally located with beautiful grounds, and the service is second to none! I can't say enough about the hot, homemade breakfasts ... so wonderful and a taste sensation! Plan your next trip and go to Brenham, stay with Steve and Lynda ... you won't regret it!

- William (10/5): - Enjoyed our one night stay. The weather was rather stormy while we were there so really did not get to explore the property/grounds. Though there is no front desk for check in, check in instructions were easy to follow and our reservation packet was waiting for us at the front door. Enjoyed our visit with Steve during breakfast. Room was clean and food was very good. We'll be back for another stay.
- Shanna (6/5): - Comfortable and a lot Of Charm. Had a bad experience when we called with a question just rude. Had someone else’s old food in the room fridge. Nothing major and only stayed one night so didn’t get to use all the amenities but the pool and such looked great.

- James (10/5): Quiet Comfort - Perfect place for couples to stay. Nice, quiet , secluded property in the center of town. Wife and I had a pleasant two day stay. Hosts were awesome and prepared a fantastic breakfast in the mornings. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. 100/100 would stay here again.
