Excellent petit-déjeuner La chambre avait la vue sur le lac de la fenêtre principale mais qui donné également sur un balcon non accessible de la chambre mais qui appartenait à la chambre d'à côté, c'est-à-dire que les gens pouvaient circuler sur leur partie balcon et donc avoir accès visuellement à notre chambre lorsque la fenêtre était ouverte. Nous ne pouvions laisser ouvert pour profiter de la vue par peur que quelqu'un soit sur le balcon. Il fallait donc obligatoirement s'asseoir sur le balcon de côté appartenant à notre chambre biensur superbe quand même. À ce moment-là il est mieux où de séparer le balcon ou de fermer totalement la fenêtre. Dans la salle de bain les toilettes étaient dans le bac à douche donc pas facile d'accès.

Il ristorante posso affermare con certezza che è uno dei tre migliori sull’isola Per onestà l’albergo è datato e meriterebbe alcune migliorie strutturali, le camere vista lago con poco potrebbero essere magnifiche perché solo la veduta è da 5*, oltre ad avere bisogno di un frigo bar ed una televisione!

• Alessia (9/5): La migliore pausa possibile - La foresta è un hotel molto accogliente, pulito e curato. La struttura esterna è moderna, ma le camere hanno il fascino degli anni '60. Nessuna TV, nessun ascensore. Solo un posto tranquillo dove riposarsi. La pulizia è encomiabile, gli spazi ben organizzati. Il bagno è essenziale, come il resto della camera. Molto apprezzati il terrazzo e i balconi. I letti singoli sono ad una piazza. L'accoglienza è il punto forte. I gestori sono cordiali, pazienti e sorridenti, cose ormai un po' rare da ritrovarsi. Ci siamo fermati a cena al ristorante e abbiamo potuto apprezzare la ricercatezza dei piatti. Nessun vino alla carta, ma una scelta degna di questo nome. Se a tutta questa valutazione aggiungiamo una vista spettacolare sul lago d'Iseo, consiglio la permanenza presso l'hotel. A presto rivedersi. P.S.: assolutamente ingiustificata e inappropriata una stella... Unico punto un po' dolente la colazione. La scelta non è molta, anche se apprezzata la genuinità dei prodotti. Inserirei latte caldo e freddo, yogurt e biscotti.

• Marianna (5/5): Not bad, but too many downsides. - A decent, family-run hotel with a nice atmosphere and beautiful views. It’s clean, and the breakfast is small but fresh and good. However, there are quite a few drawbacks that are worth mentioning. It started with the parking. The hotel recommended a parking lot, but when we arrived, we were told it was only available with a reservation and there were no spots left at all. We spent a long time driving around searching for something, but there were simply no parking spaces. In the end, we managed to persuade an employee to let us park on the grass. After that, in the heat, we had to carry all our luggage and belongings to the ferry and then walk quite a distance to the hotel. Be prepared for this – it’s not close at all, and in hot weather it’s exhausting. The hotel itself is very old. I understand it has history, but it feels very old, and so do the rooms. The water pressure in the shower was very weak, making it difficult to wash properly. Our room looked out onto someone’s backyard, with only a partial lake view on the side. The light in the bathroom kept going on and off, flickering and sometimes not working at all. There really isn’t much to do on the island. The next day we went to Iseo, and that turned out to be an excellent decision. Overall, this hotel is fine if you just need a relatively inexpensive place to sleep. However, some things felt overpriced: we had an espresso and a double espresso on old sofas at the entrance (around €4.50), and one scoop of ice cream (!?) which they charged us €9 for – extremely expensive in my opinion. To make matters worse, the woman who served the ice cream kept coughing and sneezing, which made the whole experience quite unpleasant.

Bardzo bogate, świeże i smaczne śniadania, które zjada się w pięknym ogrodzie z cudownym widokiem na jezioro. Czyste pokoje - były codziennie sprzątane. Wspaniały widok z balkonu. W kilka minut można dojść do promu, co daje duże możliwości do zwiedzania innych miejscowości lub połączenia z lotniskiem.

• Jakub (8/5): Dobre miejsce na krótki pobyt. Ze względu na ograniczenia komunikacyjne warto wcześniej rozpoznać temat parkingu. - Widok z okna. Lokalizacyj nie bardzo dobre miejsce na wyspie. Brak czajnika. Że względu na brak możliwości wjazdu samochodem trzeba zaparkować auto w mieście i zabrać bagaż promem na wyspę. Znalezienie parkingu w weekend może być wyzwaniem.

• Kevin (9/5): Fantastische Auszeit auf Monte Isola - Tolle Lage leicht abseits des Hafens von Peschiera, fantastischer Blick auf den See, eine liebevoll gestaltete und sanierte Unterkunft, leckeres Frühstück und eine herzliche Betreiberfamilie. Das Gebäude ist recht hellhörig und gelegentlich war es abends etwas laut.

• Rosalie (10/5): 10/10 WE WILL BE BACK - The hotel had the atmosphere of a true family run hotel with a professional twist. The staff were attentive and helpful. The position of the hotel on the island gave us the opportunity to watch the sunrise and the sunset from our room 8, as well as hearing the water lapping against the walls.. The food was first class, with plenty of fresh fish from the lake. The wines were great, chosen by the their son who is a qualified sommelier. I can't say there was anything wrong, only to warn that there is no lift and the rooms are on 3 floors. Also, weekends get busy on the Island with day trippers, but during the week it was quiet during the week in October.
