• Timimom (10/5): Jaw dropping! The most amazing pleace -right on the fjord - The whole place is amazing. The view is better than the pictures, you can see all around from every window. I've just sat and admired the view for a long time. I loved the way that the owners thought about every little thing- some salt, pepper and cooking oil, enough cooking utensils, glasses, spoons and forks were plentiful -not just 4 pcs so you can barely manage. There was a washing machine and a dryer- which were so nice- you don't have to bring that many clothes with you. My advice: If you come across this listing and it's free on your dates- don't look further, book it! The Viking village and Flam is close by to visit. Just a little reminder: there are 2 silver gates when you get there- first we visited the farm next door :-D. You have to drive until you can't go straight any further- that is the silver gate you have to turn right at. Nothing. I would've love to meet the hosts to praise them, but check in and out was smooth.

De plus, le ferry pour une visite des fjords s'arrête dans le village ce qui a été très appréciable pour nous. Nous n'avons jamais reçu les informations de check-in et avons dû nous mêmes appeler les propriétaires 10 minutes avant l'arrivée, le logement n'étais pas complètement prêt à notre arrivée. Nous avions réservé un logement avec sauna, et nous nous sommes rendus compte après le check-in que nous étions dans le mauvais logement. Nous avons contacté le propriétaire pour le lui signaler mais n'avons jamais eu de retour ce que nous n'avons pas trouvé correct.

• Jennifer (10/5): - Undeniably a gorgeous location! Communication was a problem but only at 1st. The Expedia message did not work. You have to use WhatsApp to contact them about the door code. Parking is scary if other cars are there. It's a tight squeeze to go anywhere in Undredal though. It's a one-way road, in and out. I will never forget that view though! It was definitely worth the sketchy drive!

• Marie-Emmanuelle (10/5): Au calme au bord du fjord - Au bout du bout d'Undredal, pas de vis à vis, pas un bruit, et quel bonheur de se réveiller avec le lever de soleil sur le fjord. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et la literie est confortable. L'hôte est très sympathique et très réactif. Et le soir, spectacle d'un bateau de croisière qui quitte Flam, tout illuminé, au ralenti, et que l'on entend à peine. Je conseille vivement pour des vacances reposantes.

• Andreas (1/5): Finger weg von dieser Unterkunft - Das wir kurzfristig über AirBnB eine andere Unterkunft gefunden haben! Alles!!! Kurz gesagt Finger weg von dieser Unterkunft! Eigentlich müsste man 0 Sterne vergeben! Schmutzig, unhygienisch und die notwendige Renovierung hätte schon vor 10 Jahren stattfinden müssen. Begründung des Anbieter, wahlweise je nach Laune "stimmt alles nicht", "Putzfrau hat sich an der Hand verletzt", "Kommt doch bitte wieder zurück und wir putzen alles was noch schmutzig ist". Muss man noch mehr dazu sagen? Hier wird versucht die Reisenden abzuzocken, da es in der Region um Flam kaum Unterkünfte gibt. Eine miserable Unterkunft wird zu einem überhöhten Preis angeboten. Ich kann die positiven Bewertungen hier nicht nachvollziehen, auch nicht, dass booking.com hier 3 Sterne vergibt. Wir waren 3 Wochen in Norwegen unterwegs und haben 8 Unterkünfte besucht. Diese war die teuerste und mit Abstand schlechteste Unterkunft. Wir sind Abends in der Unterkunft angekommen und haben erst einmal versucht eine Verunreinigungen zu beseitigen, sind dann aber zum Schluss gekommen, dass dies nicht sein kann. Wir haben uns dann über AirBnB in Laerdal eine andere Unterkunft gesucht und sind am nächsten Morgen abgereist. Ach ja, booking.com lässt einen hier absolut im Stich und versucht einen bei der Beschwerde hin zu halten. Absolut keine Unterstützung von booking.com. Wir hängen auch noch ein paar Bilder an (nur eine kleine Auswahl ... )!
• Johan (9/5): Een heerlijk gelegen huis direct aan de fjord met uniek uitzicht. - De prachtige ligging, aan de rand van het leuke dorpje, direct aan de prachtige fjord. En de mooie veranda aan de zijkant van het huis met geweldig uitzicht. De inrichting van het huis was praktisch, alles was aanwezig wat je nodig hebt, wel wat eenvoudig uitgevoerd.

We had apt. #3, where the living room was nicely renovated all other rooms were pretty dated. The floor squeaks ( and we needed to leave early - so hopefully we did not wake someone up in the apt. below us) and the bedroom’s door was not possible to open silently. The Kitchen was not very clean and poorly equipped. Therefore it was way to expensive.

• L (10/5): Fabulous views, you’re immerse in nature! - We loved our stay at Visit Undredal! The views are what makes this place amazing, you’re right on the fjord! The apartment itself could use a renovation but it’s very clean and comfortable, like going to a grandparent’s house. There is a sauna as well. You do need to rent a car to be able to explore because there’s no taxis. However the very nice owner of the property can take you to Flåm for a reasonable fee and he’s so great! We wished we had stayed longer and highly recommend it! The views, the living room overlooking the fjord, breakfast in the porch overlooking the fjords, it’s about being right there in nature.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The house had a fabulous view over the fjord..We could also enjoy the sauna in the house after a long day, which was a great thing to do. The house was very clean and equipped with every necessary thing the traveller needs! Thank you to the hosts! We had a great stay!

We had a flat tire and he helped us all the way,,picked us up and drove us around, helped with arranging to fix. Note that the location is at the very end when you reach a fence and can’t continue. Writing this because google maps took us 300 meters back so we weren’t sure where it was.

L'environnement est paisible, dans un tout petit village. Ce fut un séjour hors du temps. Notre seul regret a été de ne pas rester plus longtemps. Merci pour votre accueil. L'hébergement n'est pas accessible par les transports publics (sauf par le ferry, deux fois par jour). La personne qui a répondu à notre demande pour venir nous chercher à Flam n'était pas très avenante, mais l'homme qui est finalement venu nous chercher était extrêmement gentil.

Ventilator maakt enorm veel herrie. Voor 3 overnachtingen slechts 1 grote en 1 kleine handdoek. Inventaris keuken summier. Veel champagne glazen, 4 gewone glazen. 4 -persoons appartement met maar 3 buitenstoelen.

• Min (10/5): An amazingly beautiful place, an unforgettable experience - My family of four had a wonderful stay at the apartment for three nights. It sits at the end of the village with breathtaking panoramic view of the fjord. The owner lives nearby and was very responsive to our questions and requests. I also liked the washer and dryer to do some mid-vacation laundry work. The village of Undredal is serenely beautiful. We feel so lucky to have found this place, it is definitely a highlight of our trip to Norway. The shower enclosure can be better in the bathroom. It is not done in the most proper way so when the water runs high it is easy to spill out onto the bathroom floor.

• Michael (6/5): - The view is amazing. It is right on the fjord. The host was very kind. The pictures of the location don't differentiate between the basement and the upstairs. We were hosted in the basement apartment because we had too many guests for the upstairs, but the basement was unlike the upstairs. All the best pictures of the location were of the upstairs. It was the most expensive Airbnb on the trip. I booked months in advance and could have picked up many places in the village and the surrounding areas. I chose that for the pictures and was disappointed when they were all for upstairs and not where we were hosted.

• Saurabh (10/5): - Serene quite neighbourhood. Really the last house in Undredal under the mountains and beyond it is just wilderness. The village center, restaurant, basic supermarket, church - all in walking distance. Very spacious, clean and oh, what a view. Sitting in the balcony and sipping our coffee with the view every morning was a delight. Nothing really. Parking can be a bit tough for the uninitiated- but for any regular driver- not a problem but not straight forward. Some construction in the neighbourhood which restricted vehicle movement but for luggage in/out the owners helped graciously so wasn’t an issue for us at all.

The village is quiet and walkable with an excellent restaurant right on the fjord and a historic stave church. Just 6 km from Flom, so perfect after you are done with your fjord tour.

• Pierce Shwantz (9/5): Best Place to Stay Near Flam , in Undredal. - The location of the apartment was amazing, right on the Fjord, with excellent view. The apartment was extremely comfortable, lavish in space and facilities. The host was very helpful and since he was staying nearby he would come if there was a need. He helped us in charing our electric car at very economical price at his property. The property was slightly difficult to find as the google location would not take us right up to the property, and we had to call the Host and he did help us out. There is hardly any grocery shops near by. The location is about 15-20 drive away from Flam, so it's not proper Flam, but is quite good.
• Mohammed (9/5): Great place - An apartment located in a small quiet village but with an amazing view of the Undredal fjord. The apartment has couple of bedrooms, a living room, a big kitchen and a bathroom. All necessary accessories are available such as TV, heating appliances and free car parking. The host was highly responsive and very cooperative. Some of the amenities need to be added like soaps and iron tables.

• Kyla (6/5): - The view from the apartment is incredible. We truly enjoyed sitting in the chairs facing the windows all day! The apartment is right next to a lovely hiking trail with those same incredible views. The apartment was large and having access to laundry was great! The kitchen has all of the necessary utensils to cook! The keys were easy to access. We traveled without a car of our own which made accessing the property a bit of a task. We were able to book taxis to and from the Flåm train station which was about a 20 minute ride. The neighbors were completing some construction on the road which meant we had to walk a short ways. The construction was a bit challenging to walk through (had to climb over a large hole in the road haha), but the owners did offer to help with our luggage. The drain in the shower isn’t the best which can result in quite a wet bathroom if you aren’t careful! We had visitors to do electrical work a few times throughout our day here which was a bit of an interruption in our peaceful stay. Overall, we had a good stay!
• Franck (9/5): Emplacement privilégié - Situation exceptionnelle sur le Fjord, calme. Le confort du séjour avec ses grands canapés, la terrasse couverte. Le Sauna personnel ! La disponibilité des propriétaires. L'électroménager (basic et ancien - sauf frigo neuf) pourrait être sur d'une gamme supérieure. Les WC pourraient eux aussi être rénovés. Les odeurs de cuisine qui remontent de l'appartement du RDC (en tous cas c'est l'identification que l'on en a fait). L'évacuation de la douche (mauvaise pente, ça inonde toute la salle de bains si on ne prend pas garde). Le manque de détail sur le logement que l'on réserve ; il y a 4 appartements dans 2 maisons - rdc / étage. On ne sait pas trop ce que l'on réserve (même si au final on a eu une très bonne surprise)
• Martin (9/5): Perfect peace - This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Norway without the crowds. The accommodation is right on the Fiord, is easy to get to, has accessible parking and is very comfortable. The heating is good and makes it cosy. The washing machine is a bonus for a holiday and clothes dried easily ( no dryer). Cooking is easy with a decent equipped kitchen though a bigger frypan would be useful. There is a good restaurant in Undredal that also provides kayaks and a sauna to rent. This is a peaceful haven and we are so happy we stayed. The drive to Flam is easy to catch the fiord cruise and train.
• GT25 (9/5): Endroit exceptionnel pour découvrir la région. - Situation exceptionnelle avec vue panoramique sur le fjord. Bonne communication avec l'hôte. Village d'Undredal bien plus préservé que Flam. Prix élevé par rapport à la qualité de l'aménagement (meubles, salle de bain).

• Passarawan (10/5): - บ้านติดกับ fjord วิวสวย บ้านกว้าง สบาย เจ้าของดูเป็นมิตร แนะนำให้มาพักค่ะ ได้อยู่กับธรรมชาติจริงๆ หากไม่ได้เดินทางโดยรถส่วนตัวจะลำบากหน่อย ที่พักให้ข้อมูลไว้ว่าค่ารถtaxi 300nok สำหรับรถเก๋ง แต่โดยเรียกเก็บจริงจาก Taxi 8xx nok (5คน) และทางเดินไปท่าเรือถ้ามีกระเป๋าจะลำบากหน่อยเพราะทางลาดชัดและขรุขระบางช่วง แต่โชคดีที่พนักงานของที่พักช่วยนำไปส่งที่ท่าเรือให้ :)
