We had dinner at the riad on our first evening as we we tired after a long trip and the food was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. I had to have something ironed once but another customer had locked the iron in their room and left so the staff ran to the next dry cleaner's and they had it ready for me in 20 minutes.

Il proprietario, Giorgio, un signore padovano estremamente gentile e disponibile, ci ha fatto sentire accolte fin dal primo momento, con grande attenzione verso ogni nostra esigenza e preziosi consigli per vivere al meglio la città. Un ringraziamento speciale anche a Youssef, sempre premuroso e attento alla nostra sicurezza: sapere che ci aspettava sveglio per aprirci la porta al rientro la sera ci ha fatto sentire davvero tranquille. La colazione era deliziosa, abbondante e curata nei minimi dettagli. Le camere sono bellissime, arredate con gusto, molto pulite e trasmettono una tranquillità incredibile, perfetta dopo le giornate nel caos della medina. La posizione è ottima: vicina al centro e comodamente raggiungibile a piedi. Un posto che consiglio sinceramente a chi vuole vivere Marrakech in un ambiente autentico ma con un’accoglienza davvero speciale.

- Silvia (8/5): Equipa extremamente simpática e incansável - A nossa estadia foi marcada pela extrema simpatia da equipa, que foi incansável e fez de tudo para atender às nossas necessidades. O riad é muito bonito, bem localizado e, embora as ruas de acesso possam parecer, à primeira vista, um pouco 'manhosas', nunca nos sentimos inseguros. O pequeno-almoço era feito na hora, com produtos típicos e variados, mas sentimos falta de alguma proteína e de mais fruta. A casa de banho era espaçosa e estava muito bem equipada. O quarto estava muito limpo. Um detalhe que prejudicou grandemente a estética do espaço foi a presença de uma mota enorme estacionada no átrio durante toda a nossa estadia, mesmo ao lado da porta do nosso quarto. Outro aspeto curioso é o facto de os quartos não terem fechadura. Quando questionamos sobre este aspeto, ofereceram-se para nos fornecer um cadeado, mas nota-se que não é um procedimento comum. Como nesta altura do ano o rooftop estava quase sem utilização e a piscina sem água, a relação qualidade-preço pareceu-nos um pouco elevada para o que é oferecido fora da época alta.

- LAURA (9/5): Ci torneremo sicuramente! - Lo staff Freddino nelle aree comuni, nonostante lo splendido camino acceso. D’altronde ammetto che io sono particolarmente freddolosa (sto bene al di sopra dei 25 gradi), era gennaio e il tempo atmosferico molto inclemente durante il nostro soggiorno. Non potevo pretendere che facesse caldo a queste condizioni e per giunta in un Riad.
- GIOVANNI (10/5): Lo consiglierei a tutti e spero di poterci ritornare presto. - Prima di tutto l'ottima posizione nella parte vecchia e caratteristica della città, comodo a tutti i siti da visitare e ad ottimi ristoranti nonchè al souk delle spezie. Speciale accoglienza da parte del proprietario italiano di cui si vede il tocco anche nella comodità della camera (letto ampio) e del bagno (c'è il bidet!). Colazione abbondante e varia e possibilità di cenare previo accordo (noi ne abbiamo approfittato: tutto gradevole, ben presentato e servito con gentilezza). Tutto perfetto.

- Elaine (10/5): MUST BOOK THIS RIAD - The owner and staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, from teaching us how to get around, to explaining how to haggle for taxis, and welcoming us home every time we got back from our day and night time adventures. It felt a bit like staying with a host family during study abroad in the best way possible. This was our first time in Morocco, and we will certainly be back to Marrakech and this riad! I've heard that Moroccan hospitality is great, but staying at this riad really blew my expectations out of the water. Because it's winter, we didn't get to use the pool so we're just going to have to come back. There is an adorable rooftop with a pool and a view of the Atlas mountains! The courtyard is beautiful, the rooms are great and the heating unit worked well for the chilly nights. It was absolutely dumping rain one morning but they had umbrellas for us to use for the day, so thoughtful. Location was amazing, easy to walk to major sightseeing spots, easy to get a taxi and get dropped off by taxi, couldn't have asked for better location. We only stayed 3 nights and were able to fit in El Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Madrasa, Koutoubia Mosque, Jardin Majorelle, along with thoroughly exploring Jemaa El Fna and the surrounding souks without any problem or any rush. The excellent location meant that getting around was as frictionless as it could get considering the narrow paths and roads. Breakfast everyday was delicious, especially loved the yogurt and fresh orange juice. The coffee and milk were always HOT, starting off every day strong :) The actual room itself was great, bed was SUPER comfy and supportive, plenty of counter space in the bathroom which was the main thing I was looking for. The surrounding neighborhood was super safe and super quiet at night. I was concerned before this trip, 2 women traveling together, but we had zero issue. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated quite frequently one or two nights, it would get super hot and then super cold all of a sudden. But it didn't happen often enough to be too big of an issue.

Everyone was extremely friendly and even helped me with my bags both arriving and departing! The riad was beautiful, clean and located just a short distance from everything I needed! I loved the culture surrounding the area and felt perfectly safe navigating my way around! I would 100 recommend for your stay!!

Extremamente competentes, cordiais e muito atentos às nossas possíveis necessidades ou desejos. O hotel é muito bonito, com uma bela decoração e um terraço maravilhoso ao fim da tarde. Jantámos no hotel e gostámos muito dos pratos marroquinos, muito saborosos. O acesso era difícil, embora em certas situações algum funcionário nos ajudasse.
- Guest (10/5): Beautiful riad with beautiful staff members - The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. One of my friends was sick and Youssef went out to the market and got her some Moroccan cold remedies. That was so kind of him to do. The breakfast and dinner service is wonderful. Simo was amazing and prepared very good meals for us. This riad has a well curated space and feels very homey.

- Faryal (10/5): - The property was so clean and it was most comfortable stay we had in our two week trip. We got the hibiscus room which was excellent! Breakfast in the morning was amazing and was prepared for us earlier if we needed to leave that day. Each one of the people who worked there made sure we were comfortable and made sure we had what we needed. We saw the true hospitality of Morocco when we stayed at this Riad. We will definitely recommend Riad Azahar to everyone of our friends.

Each item was explained and there was plenty for a good days walking the city We loved every thing Roberto the owner helped when ever needed, Youssef was friendly and always courteous. Ismail always had time to speak . I can not fault the staff in any way

Attention to detail was first rate. The location was great too with regards going out walking to everything. It may seem confusing to find at first but really it was easy to navigate the lanes once you did it once. Nothing to dislike at all

Riad très bien rénové avec grand goût et extrêmement bien entretenu. Chambres très belles et salle de bains très agréables. Rien, excellente option, le meilleur hébergement de notre séjour au Maroc, si nous revenons sur Marrakech nous essaierons d'y séjourner de nouveau.

- Michaut (10/5): - Nous avons aimé notre séjour. Du début à la fin. Le Riad Azahar était parfait pour notre séjour. Du petit déjeuner varié, riche et simplement délicieux. Au repas du soir tout autant excellent tout cela dans un cadre exceptionnel. La chambre spacieuse et confortable typique des Riads. Ce fût une réelle surprise positive. Le tout entouré d'un personnel au dessus de tout. Roberto entouré de son équipe nous ont accompagné et ont été aux petits soins pour nous. Merci à lui ainsi qu'a Youssef, Ismael, Simon et toutes les personnes que nous n'avons pas rencontré mais qui ont sublimé notre séjour. Les voisins couchent tard.

- carla (10/5): Marrakesh - Mi sono trovata molto bene. Roberto accogliente e sempre a disposizione. Camere pulitissime, cambio biancheria tutti i giorni. Colazione buona e abbiamo cenato lì solo una sera ma mangiato veramente bene. Unica pecca, che ho già segnalato a Roberto, la guida che ci ha fornito parlava poco l'italiano. Simpatico ma non all'altezza.

Il Riad è magico, pulitissimo silenzioso, si mangia benissimo colazione fatta al momento e diversa ogni mattina. La cena a dir poco fantastica, cucina marocchina con prodotti di qualità. Ciliegina sulla torta hammam e massaggio. Roberto sa davvero come farti sentire a casa a migliaia di km. Ci ritornerò Nulla tutto perfetto

- Lucy (10/5): Fabulous and full of culture. - The staff were so freindly and helpful. The building is off the beaten track but they came and met us from our transfer to guide us to the front door. Once you go through the front door the interior is absolutely beautiful and so tranquil.
