• Stephanie French (9/5): Great value - My room was comfy and clean and the water was hot immediately. There's an open air treadmill as well as some weights. I got an early 5 am breakfast that was complete with an omelette, lentils, fried banana and potatoes and fresh watermelon juice. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I needed to print a document for work and they did so free of charge. I could pick up snacks and coffee at the nearby shop, and the on-site restaurant was solid too, with tasty fresh food and a full bar. Would definitely go back. My room wasn't serviced after the first night and this surprised me a bit--maybe they only service every other day, or on request. I didn't check. The wifi was pretty spotty in my room, but better at the restaurant.

• Key One (10/5): - I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was good and always satisfying. I was kindly upgraded during my stays, which I truly appreciated. The internet connection worked well this time, which made my stay even more comfortable. The bathroom had reliable hot water and good drainage, and the room was equipped with air conditioning. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I would be happy to stay here again. As a small suggestion for improvement, I would recommend replacing the bathroom mirror in Room 227.

• Gloria (7/5): - The staff are professional and pleasant. The location is ideal and the food delicious. The hotel restaurant has activities most week nights such as quiz night, live band etc which makes for a nice vibe. I loved the balcony outside my room.

• Artan (9/5): De beste locatie van Kampala - De locatie van dit hotel ( in vergelijking met 3-4 andere hotels veel duurder!) maakte het verschil Het is geen luxe hotel, maar wel aangenaam omgeving, zeer veilig, vriendelijk personeel, de mooiste buurt van Kampala en toch dichtbij alle faciliteiten Het was Africa Cup op dat moment. Ik kon niet van op mijn kamer naar een march kijken, om maar iets negatiefs te zeggen

• Harris (2/5): Room smelt of urine becsuse of leaky toilet, and staff unwilling to do anything about it. - Was in kololo Room smelt of urine because there was a leak in the toilet. Told the receptionist several times that my room smells and they told me that they don’t have any other rooms available even though on booking.com it showed that they had several rooms available.

Joel who picked up from the airport is made my 45 minutes ride seem so shortly and comfortable. The Place is calm and quite for a a business trip. Wonderful hotel. I am definitely staying here again on my upcoming trips with the Team. nothing comes to mind

Loved the fact that it features a small shop with local (mostly) organic products, and a (mostly) organic restaurant. Breakfast was very varied, every day something different on the buffet. Close to lots of good restaurants. Bathroom was not very practical as it lacked a small bathroom cabinet or plank. If people were walking outside, could get a bit noisy.

The team here goes above and beyond, and I cannot say enough about the amazing staff. Special thanks to Franck, Chance, and Henry for their exceptional hospitality. You made my stay unforgettable! At the restaurant, Judith, Joseph, Saadab, and Salima were phenomenal. The food was delicious. The rooms were clean and spotless. Can we talk about the shower? The water pressure was incredible. It made every shower time such a treat! Overall, the entire staff was extremely polite, friendly, and always willing to help. Their warmth and professionalism truly made my visit special. Thank you so much! Will definitely recommend. There were tea bags provided, which I appreciated but perhaps adding instant coffee would make it even better for coffee lovers like me.

The table looked like a camping table and was stained. The light switches were not clean and the room generally needed to be redecorated as there were marks on the floor and the walls

The climb to the top floor of the upper block of rooms wasn't my favourite thing! Not for the unfit 😅 The room was set up for one person - one towel, one bottle of water, one glass, one tea cup... By the check out time we still only had one glass for 2 people 🙃 There was a kettle and sugar but no teabags or creamer... Teabags appeared on the penultimate evening. The thing I disliked most was the dirty mosquito net... blood stains and other dirty smudged stains ... pretty gross tbh

• Iwona (5/5): I'd not recommend it unless you stay in the premium rooms (and pay extra for those). - The original room I was in was not nice at all - small, crammed and there was no water for more than 8 hours on my first night. After complaining multiple times, they offered me one of their premium rooms (which are shown on the Booking.com page so don't be folloed - you have to pay a lot extra to stay in the nice ones) - that was much nicer. No water in the first room (in the older building, not the new complex, water shortage affected everyone in that building), and the room I originally booked which was very small and crammed- it was hard to move around inside.

• Laura (7/5): - The staff was friendly and helpful. They helped me call a tourism agency, served breakfast earlier and stored my luggage for free and for one day after my check-out. The restaurant, Revive, was very nice. Food was good and music as well. The room was clean and a bit small, but an size that was okay for the price I paid. It looked like the photos. The mattress was uncomfortable, there was noise and the fan was very loud. I didn't like the bathroom either. It was too small and the shower didn't work well.

It's located in a quiet yet central area—perfect for exploring the city. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit, always ready to assist with anything I needed. You can really feel the care they put into making guests feel at home. I’d definitely stay here again!

• Beeker (9/5): Awesome budget hotel with amazing staff and food! - This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a high-quality, budget hotel with clean private rooms, a central/good location, and good nutritious food. It’s a little more expensive than a hostel private room, but the attached restaurant REVIVE is such a good selling point. All staff were super friendly and chill for my stay. No drama - Frank was especially super nice and was very flexible with my booking! Highly recommend if you are not wanting to splurge too much, but still want comfort and privacy. WiFi in my room didn’t work very well. Around the whole place it was unstable.

The facilities - restaurant, gym, store in premises at Lee great. The best part, this hotel is smack in the middle of everything without the busy aspect found across most places in Kampala. If I go to Kampala again, definitely will stay there.
