Guest Reviews
- Sevilla (10/5): -
- Gregory (7/5): Good -
- Hailey (3/5): Poor - The spa bath was super nice The room wasn't very clean. The staff isn't very helpful and the people around the hotel were kind of sketchy.
- Glenn (6/5): Better than the last 5 economical hotels I stayed at. - Location on the river in downtown Fort Atkinson was ideal for walking and bicycling. Property in transition. Being worked on. Lobby and Hallways were messy but room was good. Will be a great boutique hotel when complete.
- Roth (5/5): It wasn’t great but not horrible. Would stay again if I had to. - The bed was very very comfy, clean and everything seemed almost new. The staff seemed nice. The water was Luke warm not very hot. We didn’t you the whirlpool tub cause that water wasn’t very warm. The fan above the tub was super loud and dirty, we didn’t turn it on which made for very little light in the room. The walls were very dirty. Trash was left in the room. The vents where very dirty. And mold in the ac unit
- D'arcy (5/5): Worth the price. - If you are looking for an okay, cheap place to stay near the downtown, this is a good fit. It is also a residence hotel. Lots of cigarette smokers with pets.
- Rachel (1/5): Bad -
- Jessica (3/5): Poor - Little to no hot water, broken tile around the tub
- Kimberly (10/5): Very quiet, relaxing! - Very quiet
Hot tub in room was very relaxing
Staff was helpful
- Svien (10/5): Exceptional - The view was great overlooking the river! Good location, everything within walking distance I'm an asphalt worker, the parking lot needs love
- Kathleen (5/5): Passable -
- Klemesrud (1/5): Wouldn't stay again - No breakfast Couldn't shower. No water to shower.
I had to call someone to check in and out
No one at front desk.
- Sarah (1/5): Bad - Nothing. Horrible hotel, staff and location. There was seedy people gathered outside, not safe to walk alone. The room was dirty, there was soiled panties in the room. Broken fan in the bathroom, duct tape on the walls and outside of the tub. Was not a double room, was a queen bed instead of a king. The staff was horrible ever since we brought up the poor room and the soiled panties. We left the hotel room for a bit, medicated the dogs, and left them in the hotel. They kept saying our dogs were barking and called the cops on us. The cops called us from outside the room and said the dogs were not making any noise. They changed our keys even though our dogs and possessions were still in the room. They threatened to be at up my fiancee and take our dogs. The kicked us out before the second night but kept our money so then we had no money to stay anywhere else and had to try to drive 8 hours home in the middle of the night. Ended up sleeping in our car in a roadside park as soon as we hit our home state Michigan. We not only are out the cost of the hotel room and the stuff left behind, but we are also out the cost of concert tickets that we had for that weekend.
- Gerrie (4/5): Disappointing, but glad for decent price and clean bedding. - The price was cheap. The river view was nice. The bedding was comfortable and clean. Room had a refrigerator with freezer and a microwave. The entrance was not locked; anyone could get in. And neighborhood a little iffy. The carpet and bathroom floor were sticky. The sinks did not have stoppers in them so I could see and smell the gross stuff growing in the pipes. No hot water in sinks (I didn't use shower). Furnishings were worn. Walls and door were chipped and dirty, including the wall in the bathroom.
- Linda (2/5): This was the the epitome of the ROACH MOTEL. There's nothing safe, or clean or normal - There was NO BREAKFAST!!! It WASN'T A RELAXED INN ! There was a police car in front when we arrived! A altercation between people. ARE YOU AWARE THIS PLACE HAS SECTION 8 ROOM RENTERS LIVING THERE??!!!!
Had I known I would have never booked room! And by the time we found out...We had a reunion to attend & couldn't book another hotel @ ALL of the above! The room & hallways were dirty! The walls in our room hadn't been clean.in a very long time. The toilet wasn't working well.. no water pressure!
Damage & mold in the room and general areas..NO LIGHTS or cameras outside
- Wegener (5/5): Average at best. For the innkeepers attitude, sub par. - The location is lovely, right on the river. Rooms smell of smoke, and are very run down. No chair to sit in if you're trying to work on anything. Innkeeper very rude. When I called to let him know when I would be leaving, I heard him say "I just want her gone, I don't want her bothering you", to the woman proprietor working the reception area. You don't want to say things disparaging your guests, especially when I was quiet, respectful and very careful not to cause issues during my time there. Especially when they can be shared in reviews.
- Brian (8/5): Good price for what you get - Price and staff No Kleenex and cups in the room people smoking right by no smoking rooms
- Dawn (6/5): Very close to local bars and grills, great view of the river. Nice walking path to enjoy the beautiful evening - The jacuzzi tub was great to relax in while I could The cable wasn’t working and we had to bother the great lady at the desk for a new box, than it even stopped working but just went to bed early
- Elizabeth (6/5): I will come back - No coffee or water .
- Amy (7/5): Good location. Quiet. - Did not get offered a breakfast. There were no cups in the room to brush teeth. No conditioner or lotion. But the biggest problem was not many outlets. Nowhere to plug in CPAP machine.
- Barbara (4/5): I think with some tlc and a few more amenities this place would be outstanding. - Location was good - and actually would be very pretty during the summer as it overlooks the Rock River. The staff was nice on check in. Very personable. Front desk had a tube of paneling glue sitting there; bunch of plants in misassorted plants by the stairs; no coffee in the lobby in the morning, no coffee maker in the room, no drinking cups in the room and no ice bucket. Bedding was clean, Room was clean though smelled of bleach. Entire lobby area full of cleaning and building supplies.
