The room was amazing plenty of space and views to die for ,and the extras provided by the owners were above expectations.
The breakfast choices are more than you would expect delicious and served in the best bone China.
The house and garden are both lovely
Will definitely be back there soon. Nothing.

- Sonia (10/5): Highly recommended, well run, comfortable & well positioned guest house - Wecoming, helpful, friendly & professional hosts, Sharon & Paul, also lovely people. Beautifully presented suite of 2 connected ensuite rooms - one with twin beds & other a king size bed in bay windowed sea view room that was perfect to still enjoy the location whatever the weather provided! Delicious generous breakfast with great range. Very welcome courtesy, nibbles, juice & mini prosecco in the room. Very clean & comfortable. On site parking so helpful. Very short walk to beach, village shops & restaurants & wetlands. Great recomendations & helpful local tips from hosts to get the most out of our stay eg visting local castles & waterfalls. Highly recommend & hope to return. Thank you.

- Donna (10/5): We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the facilities and the value for money. - Hosts, room, view, facilities, attention to detail, breakfast Loved everything!
- Martin (10/5): - One of the best places I have stayed - room was fantastic, large, comfy with loads of extras. Would have happily paid a lot more. And then the service was great. And breakfast made my day - it was awesome. I will be back. I liked it all. If anything, felt guilty at not paying more.
- Natasha (10/5): Superb! - Great location, beautiful and comfortable place, lovely people, super breakfast. Nothing
- Kathryn (10/5): Perfect for a short break. - The owners had thought of everything. Fresh milk in the fridge, complimentary snacks and drinks in the room, a telescope to look out to sea. Great breakfast cooked just for you. Bedroom spacious with a dressing room and good sized en-suite. Friendly service. Nothing

The hosts were lovely and the personal touches left in the room were so nice 💯
- Pavel (10/5): for a short review, there is not enough space here for all the superlatives that come to mind - if booking.com allowed something like a golden buzzer, I would press it right away! There is simply no mistake here. The owners are incredibly helpful, accommodating and communicative. They will explain and show you everything, advise you on where to go and where not to go, what to visit and what to avoid. The room is like from a fairy tale - for the first time in my life I slept in a four-poster bed and it was great! The bathroom is generously sized, equipped with everything imaginable and necessary. And the breakfast!!! The chefs should be tortured and then executed, because you definitely can't lose weight here :-) They have diplomas from booking.com on the wall and they all show a score of 9.9. Basically, I don't understand who took away the one tenth from them and for what. They shouldn't have ten points, but twenty!!!
- Aparna (10/5): - Excellent hospitality
- Susanne (10/5): Fabulous comfortable stay - Spotless room with a view across the sea, comfy bed, crisp linen, snacks in room with tea/coffee, delicious breakfast, welcoming and friendly hosts, good recommendations for where to go! We loved our comfortable night. We came because of all the good reviews and we were not disappointed. Easy parking, easy check in and breakfast ordering from a great selection menu. We stayed as we were visiting the Zipline Quarry nearby. Paul recommended a lovely pub in Llandudno and the Yacht Club a few houses down from Min y Don where they welcomed us for drinks later. All in all a fabulous stay, highly recommend. Nothing to dislike
- Mary (9/5): - Fabulous guest house located on the seafront. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We lacked nothing - absolutely everything had been thought of. Great place to stay, and the best breakfast in Wales. I would have preferred fragrant-free bedding.
- Margaret (10/5): Just brilliant. - We enjoyed everything about the guest house. The extras were a nice touch and the room upgrade was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was excellent. Our hosts Sharon and Paul were so friendly.
- Judith (10/5): Exceeded Expectations - A lovely B&B with very comfortable clean rooms and Victorian features. The owners are so friendly and will do anything they can to help. My room was very quiet and comfortable. They even upgraded me so I had a dressing room, fabulous bathroom and bathrobe. The breakfast menu exceeds every expectation and is better than exclusive hotels. Az a long distance walker, with no notice , they kindly provided a tasty filling evening meal and beer.
The seafront is beautiful. Nothing
- andrew (10/5): -
- Ernest (10/5): Welcoming and very comfortable stay in a great location. - Easy to find in a great location and views overlooking the Menia Straits spectacular at sunrise.
Hosts are both very friendly and helpful, with very tasty and well presented breakfasts picked from a wide choice of items Leaving.
- Patricia (10/5): Fantastic, luxurious guesthouse. - Everything.
It felt very luxurious. Chandeliers, prosecco and snacks, dressing gown and slippers, fantastic view of the sea…telescope and binoculars provided.
Very comfortable bed. Large, fully equipped bathroom. Lovely shower.
Breakfast was very tasty, a fair range of choices.
Paul and Sharon are lovely hosts.
Location is fantastic for long walks along the shore. Close to Conwy and Llandudno and Colwyn Bay.
Plenty of parking on site. N/A
- David (10/5): Probably the best B&B we've stayed in, can't think how it could be bettered. - Beautifully presented room, very comfortable indeed, lovely roomy en suite shower room. Plenty of room for parking at the property. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. Our room overlooked the promenade and the sea, great views. Nothing could have been better
- Lorraine (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Excellent - I'd recommend it to anyone. - Sharon & Paul gave us a warm welcome. The room and building was beautiful as was Llanfairfechan generally. If we had more time, we would have walked down the coast - very beautiful. Llanfairfechan is a bit on the quiet side. So, depending on what you're looking for, that could be a good thing - or a bad thing.
- Geoff (10/5): -
- Claude (10/5): Sensationnel !!!!
Rien
- Jennifer (8/5): Comfortable and welcoming sea view experience - View, friendly hosts, thoughtful touches like plentiful drinks and snacks, comfortable room, parking right outside. Hosts made special efforts with breakfast. Not really a problem but there are few restaurant options within walking distance
- josephine (10/5): - We were made very welcome by Paul and Sharon. The guest house was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Prime location across from the beach. Off road parking too. Nothing
- James (10/5): Lovely quiet guest house that is comfortable and welcoming - The property is located right by the beach promenade, with beautiful views and a nice front patio. The staff were lovely, Sharon & Paul went out of their way to make me comfortable, they even made me a sandwich for breakfast when they realised I’d forgotten submitted my breakfast request, just in case, which was amazing No complaints really, however it would be nice to have a net curtain or blind on the windows so light can come in without people having a direct view
- Fritz (10/5): Perfect B&B in the heart of north wales - The attention to detail, the kindness and warmth from the hosts, the comfort of the rooms. Nothing. It was impeccable.
- Gillian (8/5): Quite a special stay with everything you would want for an overnight stay - A stones throw from the beach and coastal path.
Lovely homely feel and brilliant hosts. Room was brilliant with a fantastic wooden headboard mini fridge nice coffee and a huge bathroom and shower.
Breakfast was really well made and you could tell they both took pride in the food they provided. Lots of choice which you decided the evening before and the time you wanted it so when you arrived in the dining room you were waiting long for your breakfast. Just great service top notch. It’s not the most modern building or decoration but it’s clean and tidy. The stairs were a little odd from large treads to small treads on the upper floors so had to pay attention.
- Hristina (9/5): - The rooms were nicely put together and very comfortable. It was great to have a view on the sea. The breakfast was very good. The hosts put a lot of care into it the entire experience. The 7pm deadline for check-in is not especially explicit and is very easy to miss. We were on the brink of not being allowed to enter the guest house which is quite stressful when you’re miles away from home.
I’d recommend the hosts to send a reminder about the 7pm deadline the day before the check-in.
- mark (10/5): Perfect location and hosts. - Really friendly hosts, lovely big room with perfect sea views. All the add ons included - juice, Prosecco, biscuits, bathrobes etc. spotlessly clean, plenty of parking. Really good breakfast, everything spot on, couldn’t fault it. Nothing, zero.
- Jason (10/5): - The whole experience was great from start to finish. Made welcome from the start. Loved the view from the bedroom window. Lovely bathroom with a freestanding bath. There was nothing I didn't like.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Elise (10/5): - Lots of luxury touches! Very welcoming hosts. Fabulous breakfast. Lovely sea view Teddy bears in the bedrooms
- Waldemar (10/5): -
- Nicholas (10/5): A superior level of service offered by Sharon and Paul- nothing was too much trouble. Paul encouraged us to eat our loca - Fantastic location on the seafront. Ample parking with a security camera covering the front. The house is a beautiful period property with tall ceilings and ornate coving. The bathroom appeared brand new, with high end fittings. The views are very impressive, with a pair of binoculars provided, a nice touch.
- Clair (10/5): Extremely comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for owners Paula and Sharon felt that it was important to them t - Lovely Victorian building in great location. The view from our room was wonderful. Very clean and obviously well loved by owners Paul and Sharon. Decor was tasteful, personal and interesting objects/paintings everywhere. Nothing to not like
- Nicholas (10/5): -
- ellen (10/5): We had a relaxing and restful time and everything we could possibly have asked for was provided. - The room was spotless and everything you could possibly want was provided. Paul & Sharon had thought of absolutely everything. The food was lovely and the poached eggs are definitely a must try. The views from both the front and back rooms are gorgeous. There was absolutely nothing that could have been any better. The property and the service provided were brilliant. Definitely highly recommend as a place to stay.
- Louise (10/5): Just lovely, a real hidden gem - Everything!! The welcome, attention to detail, and thoughtful gifts on arrival. Much appreciated. Breakfast outstanding, comfortable dining room.
Llanfairfechan is a stunning location that is perfect for anyone who wants to explore North Wales, within easy drive of llandudno and conwy, Eryri etc. Perfect for us as dropping our daughter back to Bangor University. Llanfairfechan itself has a stunning beach and nature reserve. A couple of good cafes.
Perfect really - we were sad to leave. Leaving
- Martyn (10/5): - comfortable 2 room suite, lovely view over the bay. Outstanding breakfast, multiple options to select the evening before. Very warm, welcoming, helpful and attentive hosts. Beautiful location, walks and views from the promenade. Outside the control of the property - local dining options rather limited, especially at the start of the week. Conwy, with much more, is just a few miles away.
- serge (8/5): -
- Oleg (10/5): -
- Carol (10/5): -
- Mike (10/5): - Paul and Sharon were great hosts and very friendly. The little extras like Prosecco were a bonus. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bath with a view was a highlight. Limited dining options nearby within walking distance.
- David (10/5): This was our second stay at Min y Don. We are already looking forward to our third - Spacious room with two comfortable armchairs set in a big bay window overlooking the Irish Sea. Binoculars included for birdwatching. Four poster bed. Lots of outlets conveniently located for charging phones. Many other thoughtful touches.
System to order breakfast the night before from a menu with interesting options means the breakfast you want is ready when you want it.
Paul and Sharon are welcoming and helpful.
- Pavel (10/5): This is a gem you shouldn't miss when you come to Snowdonia! - From the moment we arrived at this family-run boutique hotel, we felt right at home. The hosts' hospitality is exceptional, making our stay incredibly memorable. Our room was not only large and comfortable but also had a stunning panoramic window that offered a beautiful, uninterrupted view of the sea. The superior breakfast was the perfect finishing touch to a truly perfect stay. Nothing
- karen (10/5): - Sharon and paul are amazing made us feel so welcome and nothing was to much trouble lots of little extra dressing gown slippers fridge in room with milk orange juice and prosecco and five us lits of information about were to go would highly recommend Everything was lovely
- Jac (10/5): - All the thoughtful little touches, the beds were comfortable, the view gorgeous, the hosts were fantastic ! This is truly a special place and we have no negative comments. Stay here if you get the chance before it sells. Every BnB should strive to be like this one!

- gwen (10/5): Fabulous relaxed chill out - Its charm and elegance as soon as you walk it has an ambience of calm and relaxation. Sharron and Paul’s warm friendly greeting is the start of a very comfortable chill out break
Lots of lovely small touches. Couldn’t fault the property or any of the stay. May be the breakfast menu it was so good I wanted to eat it all !!
- Bogdan (10/5): -
- Rhiannon (10/5): Superb hospitality, beautiful and quiet location, room very well maintained with perfect views. - Room was beautiful with a perfect view of the sea and puffin island. Very friendly and attentive hosts. Delicious and filling breakfast. There were little touches in the room to make the stay extra special. Those little details count and didn't go unnoticed. Everything was just perfect. It is very clear the hosts love what they do as their hospitality shone through. We highly recommend staying here. Nothing.
- Sarah (9/5): lovely, helpful hosts, would definitely stay there again - The rooms were clean and comfy with lovely views and the bathroom was well stocked and love a walk in shower nothing
- Atter (10/5): - Sandra and Paul ( the hosts) made us very welcome. The room we stayed in was just perfect, with a fridge and fresh milk!!! for our tea and coffee. Plus the lovely snacks.
The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, kept us going all day!! There is nothing to dislike. Everything was great
- Terry (10/5): Lovely place! - Lovely room with arm chairs in a bay window looking out to sea.
Great array of snacks in the room and fresh milk for tea. Nothing. It was great!
- Bettina Renate (10/5): - Great place with lovely hosts. Always asking for our needs. Fantastic breakfast, nice and perfect rooms.
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Lois (10/5): Perfect in Every Way - Sharon and Paul are a delight, making us feel like family. The house is gorgeous and elegant, with incredible views of the beach. The beds are so comfortable, the bathrooms so well equipped, and the nights very quiet for a great sleep. The food is wonderful, and so much fun to be entertained with a little magic as we ate. There are not enough superlatives to do them justice. Sharon, I hope you get your horse! There are no negatives. You can't improve on perfection.
- Kevin (10/5): Can’t wait to go back! - From arrival to check out you could not ask for more. Fantastic views out to sea from our very very comfortable and well equipped room 10/10 All brilliant nothing to not like here
- Penny (10/5): Friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and very clean accommodation - Clean, comfortable and great view of the sea and mountains Nothing
- Steven (10/5): - Great welcome, comfortable beds, tasty breakfast, with plenty of choice, and very useful and interesting local information
- Fox (10/5): -
- Mariyam (5/5): Good location but would not stay again. - Good location, lovely views of puffin island. Clean rooms. The owners were too in-your-face, i appreciate the welcome and the customer service- giving snacks for the rooms, fresh towels, clean beds, breakfast, but they were too involved and nosy about everything we were doing. I felt like we had to sneak past them on the way in and out of the guesthouse so they dont question where we are going and what we are doing.
When we brought food back for dinner, i had already read the rulebook stating that we could use the downstairs dining room to have dinner from outside, yet the owner stopped me as we were coming in saying youre not allowed to take the food upstairs. I said i know. Ive read the rules and i was planning to use the dining room. Bit rude.
The bathroom window had sort of clear blinds right opposite the shower cubicle, so at night if you have the light on while showering, people could see you and there was no privacy unless the lights are off.
- Mrs (10/5): - Sharon and Paul are Amazing hosts and very dedicated to their guests ,they made us feel so welcome everything was so clean,we had tea coffee biscuits a fridge with a mini bottle of prosecco, all shampoo, conditioner, hand cream ,slippers , gowns. The view from our window was absolutely lush the sunsets were amazing to watch in bed and we could see puffin island too and the light house.Sharon and Paul also refreshed our room twice and gave us more towels, toilet rolls ,snacks juice and toiletries.Breakfast was well nice my favourite being Paul's very own min y stack ,at our last breakfast sitting this morning we were even entertained by some of Paul's old magic tricks which really had us boggled ,Sharon got us tasting flower petals and they were actually nice .It was our 30th wedding Anniversary holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but sad to leave Sharon Paul and Charlie bear and we highly recommend their beautiful 5star guest house . Sara and Rich x
- Dawn (10/5): -
- William (10/5): Very good - Best guest house Nothing
- Lindsey (9/5): Perfect hosts. Wonderful room. Would recommend for a couple or young family. - The location for us was great as near to Conwy and only a short distance to Anglesey. The hosts Sharon and Paul were so welcoming and attentive. They had thought of everything in the room to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had the superior room on the top floor and it was fresh and clean with views over the sea and Puffin Island and with a separate room at the back. So many little treats were left for us too like snacks, biscuits, flapjacks, orange and apple juice and milk in the fridge ad well as a mini Prosecco. Fully kitted out with toiletries, slippers and bath robes better than that found in a big hotel for the price we paid. Super choice of food for breakfast and choice of eating time. Plenty of parking around. Front door key to get in and out independently. Thanks for our 1 night stay. We knew there wasn’t a restaurant which was not an issue as we had a car. The area doesn’t have a great choice of local pubs with food though but you can drive into Conwy. Would have been great if there were places to dine within walking distance but none of this reflected on our satisfaction with the guest house as that surpassed expectations.
- Angela (10/5): Perfect - Absolutely everything…the warm welcome, the attentiveness, the fascinating decor and the wonderful homely feel to the whole house. The breakfasts were superb and our room had a lovely view onto the beach…It was the most perfect way to round off our week long stay on Ynys Mon and come to Llanfairfechan. Nothing could have surpassed this beautiful guest house. We are truly grateful to have been able to stay there. Diolch o galon Paul and Sharon 😘😘
Rien
- Andrew (10/5): Superb - Everything was fantastic. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was the best.
