Guest Reviews
- Garrick (10/5): - Unique old-world charm. 3pm check in.
- Lynn (7/5): -
- Anthony (9/5): It was very spacious, very close to Whiskey Row - The shower pressure was really low. The pressure dribbled out
- jeff (10/5): - The location was outstanding
- Barbara (10/5): - I found this to be a perfect rental. Very nice inside, close to everything down town. It has the feeling of being home.
- Carl (8/5): - Great location.
- pakalomattom (6/5): - Central location. The accommodations would’ve been great, except the cold water in the shower didn’t work. Would stay again if that was fixed.
- Rick (8/5): Overall, it met our expectations. - Very convent to town square which allowed us to walk to everything. Parking was right across the alley. We were right behind several bars. A little noisy at night with the live bands.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (8/5): Hidden Gem in the middle of the Row! - This place is a great option if you want to be in the middle of the Whiskey Row night life! It's a little dated inside, but it has everything you could possibly need and more. Being right next to the bars, it is a little loud until closing time, but that's to be expected. The bed is comfortable, and the jetted tub was amazing! We had some issues getting in due to the digital lock batteries dying, but we called and got assistance pretty quick.
- Monica (10/5): - This place was amazing! Way bigger than we expected! And so cozy too!! It was like we were home.
- George (10/5): Exceptional -
- Miranda (10/5): Going to do it again! But more days - No one came to bother. ???
- Michael (10/5): House keeping very mean girl but Jermey was awsome - Big close to everything Old but way worth it
- Michael (9/5): The maid was treating us unfairly - Read it
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional - Great location on whiskey row.
Close to all activities
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Chelsea (10/5): - Wonderful place to stay and so close to everything it’s perfect! The only thing they could could better is making sure there are sheets for the pull out couch. We couldn’t fine them anywhere
- Jeanne (9/5): Nice Place, Great Location, Clean and great manager! - location and was surprised to find it on a holiday weekend......nice big space, the stairs are a bit much at the end of the day, but the elevator next door was great. even the fold out bed was comfy. got a little loud from the outdoor smokers patios below but was still able to fall asleep
- JOHN (10/5): - The place on whiskey row
- JOHN (10/5): - Great place in thick of it
- Devon (10/5): Exactly what we needed. - Location was amazing and if you are looking for a room with personality click book right now. Room was large and had everything we needed for our stay. Right on Whiskey Row and near everything. Would stay here again.
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geneva (8/5): - It's a beautiful apartment in an amazing location. Be sure to go out and enjoy downtown Prescott before it gets too late because, despite its wild west past, it's a town that closes down pretty early in the evening. But you couldn't ask for a better location for enjoying downtown.
The only problem with the place was that the jets in the tub weren't working and by the time we tried it out, it seemed a little late to call about it since it's not like a regular hotel with an all night staff. Aside from that, I would only caution that the checkout time is the earliest I've ever seen at 10am, so you'll have to be up bright and early to get ready to go. We decided to trade our desire to stay in such a cool location for our desire to sleep in and have a slow, leisurely morning but it is a trade off.
I would recommend staying more than one night to really get the most out of it and be able to enjoy it fully. We just had one night to ourselves while our toddler was with her grandparents but I wish we could have stayed longer!
- Aimee (10/5): Exceptional - It was charming, capturing the old fashioned feel of Prescott perfectly! Everything was clean, with lots of nice little touches (we were pleasantly surprised to see a lovely Christmas tree in the living room). Check in/out were hassle free. You are staying above/next to operating restaurants in a business area. This means multiple loud, early morning deliveries and late night music/people talking. Not necessarily a negative, just something to be aware of (and one of the nice touches to this property was that ear plugs were supplied to help dampen that noise).
- Jeffrey (7/5): A great location to enjoy downtown Prescott and the infamous Whiskey Row. - Nicely furnished throughout the suite including a fully functional kitchen offering all the items required to make a meal. Public parking was close by and free. An elevator was available to access the main street on Whiskey Row, and easy access to Lilly’s Saloon. Linens were not available for the pullout sofa, but after a brief call to the rental agency, staff members arrived within 30 minutes and provided the linens and made the bed.
- Chad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brodie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Misty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharakk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): - Really nice place in a great location!
- Michael (8/5): Amazing Suite & Location - but please don’t try to sleep on their sofa bed - very nice area & the room (suite) was very large. The 2nd bed was correctly described as a fold-out sofa bed. However, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. In fact, the folded out bed was not level. If the owner spent just one night sleeping on that bed, they would immediately replace it with a viable bed/sofa option.
- Judd (10/5): - Plenty of room to relax. Elevator is not convenient but better than carrying our luggage up 3 flights.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Great - Everything Nothing
- Kelly (10/5): - This was the perfect place to spend our 15th anniversay. There are a few, minor details that could use a little updating (ie. furniture/decor), but the location and charm of this place made it easy to overlook. We can't wait to to return again!
- Gerod (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (10/5): Great -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cally (10/5): - Best place I've stayed in years
- Lolita (10/5): - Great location! Very clean and beautiful suite. We had an issue with the one toilet but a repair man came at 9:30 pm to fix it!
- David (10/5): - Best kept secret in Prescott…place is hidden like an old Chicago back alley speakeasy! We will be back!
- Carol (6/5): A little more transparency on entrances, please - Needs to be more transparency about entering. The alley entrance is a series of steps. In the dark that is not good. That is the only way in and out when the door to the tavern is locked. The front elevator entrance cannot be used at that time. That needs to be explained in advance. There was no extra toilet paper and no kitchen towels. There needs to be a hand rail between the main floor and the bedroom floor.
- Amanda (6/5): - I chose this property because of the convenient location on the downtown square. I didn’t think about the noise, fast food smell, and light that would come into the space at all times of the night and morning. If you enjoy your sleep, this is not the place to stay. Also while there, our internet went down and we ran out of toilet paper. There were no extra rolls.
- laurence (10/5): Very Nice Place - The penthouse was a very nice surprise . It was very clean and large . I will rent again
- brittnee (10/5): Perfect! - Amazing! We will be back this place was so perfectly Preacott!
- Cheryl (10/5): Amazing Place! - Such an amazing find!!
Amazing location!
We had a little plumbing problem but the staff was there in l as then 5 minutes.
Loved the room and area it was so nice to have a separate bedroom, bathroom, and living space.
- Frank (8/5): - We liked the location of the penthouse right in the center of everything. There is even a bar outside the door. The only thing we had to get use to is all of the smells from different restaurants cooking over night
- Shaun (10/5): Best Place in Prescott yet! - The pictures do not do this place justice! Sure, it’s not got the latest and greatest fancy finishes but who the hell goes to Old Town Prescott for that. This location has that old lifestyle vibe but with all modern comforts that we have yet to experience anywhere else. Anytime that we plan to go north for future visits this will be the very first place we look for availability. Thank you very much for a FANTASTIC stay!
- Matthew (6/5): This place is perfect....except - This place would be a perfect 10... EXCEPT that its attached to 2 bars one of which has live music til well past midnight on the weekends. Its in a perfect location, Inside is amazing and price is right but your brain will vibrate on the pillow. If you stay out late this is the place for you but we wont ever be returning.
- chad (8/5): Amazing location and cute place - Amazingly cute place with an unbeatable location. Large and good price. The only downside is the TV doesn't work (have to unplug the HDMI every time to get sound to work) and it is very loud at night and in the morning, but that is due to the great location as there is live music and the back of businesses right there.
We have been staying at the Hassayampa for years, but this will be our new go to.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very cozy and comfortable. I liked that it fit the culture of Whiskey Row.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location, location, location! This is the perfect spot to be in Prescott. Not fancy, could use update, Torn shades, curtain needs hem repair, not sure about sofa bed, seemed hard to pull out so we didn't. Could not work TV in bedroom but this place was spacious, clean and I totally recommend. Would book again 🙂
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a really fun, unique, experience. The property is old, since it is in one of the original buildings on Whiskey Row, but that was part of the charm. Clean, large bathroom, bed was very comfortable.
The only fault was that there isn't any view, but we weren't in the room enough for that to make a difference.
We will definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Gives you that "back in the western days feel"
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We absolutely loved this place! With music around could get noisy but our midweek visit kept it within reason! Easy access to bars and entertainment! And the place is HUGE!! Thank you!!
- Paul (10/5): BEST PLACE ON WHISKY ROW TO STAY - GREAT LOCATION, PARKING GARAGE NEXT DOOR, EVERYTHING NEEDED TO COOK SIMPLE MEALS, JETTED TUB, COMFY BED, GOOD WIFI.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Penthouse is amazing. Perfect location. Walking distance to everything, no need for a car. The house itself, takes you back in time, but has all the modern amenities. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would love to stay here again.
- Patricia (10/5): Would rent again - Very spacious. Comfortable bed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place was amazing! The room was beautiful, I will definitely be staying here again
- Douglas (10/5): Read this. Do not pass up this place. - I'm going to put this simply: I've stayed in 1,000 hotels. My wife and I have stayed in at least 10 together since we met. I couldn't tell you the color of the wall on any one of those hotel rooms - Except this one. We both just looked at each other and agreed we'd never forget this room, which is what reminded me to leave this review.
Everything was exactly as advertised. Is it outdated? Yeah. Perfectly so. Except where you want convenience - Everything is modern and convenient.
Seemless WiFi, easy cable, everything we needed from board games to dishes to scissors was right there. We didn't move our car once because everything was in walking distance. We also basically had a patio to ourselves.
We'd recommend this place to literally ANYBODY for any reason if you're in Prescott. The staff was communicative (even though we had to leave a message the first time, they called back almost immediately), everything was handled remotely and we never had to see a staff member. When we had an issue with the TV at 9pm, they picked up the phone and explained what we were doing wrong.
Full kitchen, supplies, jet bathtub for two, extremely comfortable bed, a full dining room, even a private toilet in the bathroom with a closing door.
Look, you're getting a lot for your money. There are no views from inside the apartment worth mentioning but WHO CARES. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP BECAUSE OF THAT.
Great stay, we will be returning guests over and over.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The décor was very old-west, but has modern conveniences such as the large jetted tub and full kitchen. Nice, clean unit with a boatload of charm. Very nicely located in the heart of Prescott, a short walk to delicious dining and interesting shops, with the added benefit of the free parking right across the alley. I will be trying to stay here every time I visit this city! One note, the property is not handicap accessible, as it is in a building that is almost 100 years old. Would HIGHLY recommend!
- Arnold B (10/5): Whiskey Row Penthouse - The room was very nice, clean and comfortable and convenient to down town Prescott but because the weather turned bad we didn't go out. The only drawback for us we being in our 70's the stair climb is little hard for us but the room was great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved this property. Tons of history as it is directly above the historic "Palace Bar". The decor is slightly dated, but fits the personality of the property. Lots of space, jacuzzi tub, and a large deck. Prescott is a fun town and this property made it all the better.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The uniqueness was being right there on Whiskey Row having access to all the shops and bars around the square.
- Eric (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, and convenient
- Rashan (10/5): - Amazing place!!! Very easy private check in. Large, clean, comfy bed and super sweet huge spa tub. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping
- Steph (10/5): - Such a cute place! Its such a large space, great for a family! We really enjoyed the old western aesthetic, and convenience of have everything in walking distance
- Sandy (6/5): - It was very clean. However the noise level from the bars next to us from the bands and people walking outside the door, we never got to sleep until 2 am.
- Rhiannon (10/5): Perfect - I would stay in the Penthouse every time I visit Prescott! Food, fun, friends, family! You name it and is all within a 5 minute walk. Fabulous!
- nancy (10/5): - We had a great time we celebrated my husbands birthday and we’re a little worried what would be open with Covid.
We locked ourselves out immediately but Josh saved us and responded immediately! Apartment was so cute and very clean.. bed was extremely comfortable!!
I can see though if you are a light sleeper vehement things open up it can get noisy!
Jacuzzi tub was our highlight! We loved it!!
- david (10/5): Great located building - A very spacious unit with plenty of room to lounge around, have some friends stop by and very convenient in regards to its location to downtown. We loved the charm brought on by the building and decor. Our only negative comments would be you do have to climb a few flights of stairs to get to the unit and the beautiful big bath tub can only be used as a shower. But again overall a great stay and we were very pleased.
- Keirstin (10/5): - What an amazing property! Loved it! Look forward to staying there again.
- Georgia (10/5): Great place - It was a beautiful place, and i can't remember the last time i slept so well. It was also very clean, and had two roll away beds in the bedroom closet, plus a pullout couch in the living room, it also had a full kitchen. I would definitely stay here again!
- Tiffany (10/5): A true Whiskey Row experience - This is such a great property. Your very own Penthouse just for you and your Boo! Though there was tons of room. Absolutely perfect for a larger family or some friends. It was really awesome. The place is charming. The furniture makes you feel like you are part of the old days of parlor rooms and saloon gals. The bed is huge and the linens were lovely. There is a closet that has extra sheets, extra pillows and extra blankets. We made great use of the full-size kitchen. The bathtub was fabulous. There is a bath closet with extra towels. It is very close to a bar, the noise level was never a problem. There are earplugs provided if you are a light sleeper. My boyfriend is; he never had to use them. There is an elevator available for this property but it was more convenient for us to use the three-story stairs. Absolutely a recommended property.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Awesome room! Like stepping back into the past. Great location on Whiskey Row, clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fun place/location - Casual large apartment above Whiskey Row saloon. 2 sleeper couches & 2 roll-away beds, jetted bathtub for 2 adults with hand spray to rinse off...
Music from saloons was no a problem but earplugs were provided on night stand.
No staff st apt location & Concierge hrs short.
Now that we have stayed there we would do it again if we do not have activities way from downtown Prescott.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location right on main street in Prescott.
We didnt like that you had to access thru the alley
Property needs some upgrading but is a good size
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The place is part of history and it was great to be on Whiskey Row.
