Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): Lovely stay at The Courtyard - Lovely stay at The Courtyard. There are only 4 units, but each has a bedroom, ensuite bathroom and a lounge area with sofa and a little kitchen area, with sink, microwave, fridge and hob.
They don't provide breakfast, not since the pandemic, even though Hotels.com still show one is included. That didn't bother me, as I simply stopped and picked up what I wanted when out.
It's midway between Perth and Dundee, so was great for sightseeing.
- David (10/5): Courtyard Stay August - Great area to stay, very peaceful and just off the main road to continue your drive or stay for a few days. Set up was great in the twin apartment. Plenty of space to either sit outside or in the apartment. Wash facilities had all you need and quiet at night. We was on a golf week and close to many golf courses around the area.
Would recommend if you was going back south or as a stop off before you continue north.
Thanks to all at The Courtyard
- Jacquie (10/5): A hidden GEM ! - Fantastic ! Wish I could go often !
- Jane (10/5): Courtyard - Great place, clean and comfortable and the welcome from Omi was excellent- she couldn’t have been more helpful
- Charleen (10/5): - Lovely peaceful property surrounded by beautiful countryside. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
- Frankie (10/5): - We had the most amazing week staying here. Not only was the room comfortable and easy to use the staff were incredible. Loved staying here.
- Heather (10/5): Excellent Apartments - Arrived at late at night, no problem finding room. The apartment was lovely, very clean and fresh. Decor was lovely, very cosy. Very quiet, had a great sleep. It is self catering, but all is provided to make your own breakfast. Omy the owner was so friendly, what a lovely lady... oh and bruce her dog was adorable. would definitely stay again.
- Ann (10/5): Great stay! - Great stay! Perfect for a 2 night stay attending a wedding at near by Error Park.
Bed was comfy and the separate lounge and kitchenette were a bonus, like having a mini apartment rather than just a small hotel room.
Hotels.com booking stated we needed to be out by 1100 but check out was actually 1000 which was a little earlier than we would have liked.
- Steve (8/5): secluded - Nice comfortable accommodation a little bit secluded and off the beaten track. No pub nearby!
- Christine (8/5): Very friendly hosts - Very friendly helpful hosts, very quiet location, comfortable. Wifi not available in unit at time of stay. Hot water unpredictable
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely place to stay. Everything is good quality, warm, clean and comfortable. Wasnt aware there was no breakfast but didnt read the confirmation email before visiting.
- jorge (10/5): - was amazing
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy, tranquil and dog friendly - I booked this as a fee days away with my mum and to allow me to visit friends that live nearby. The Courtyard was dog friendly so I brought along my chihuahua, as expected no dogs on the furniture and we had taken along her bed and blankets. Being down a country road it was lovely and peaceful to take her a walk near the property. We booked the twin, which had a comfortable living room with small TV, kitchen work top, breakfast bar, fridge, microwave, kettle, cups, plates and cutlery. There was a shower over the bath in the on suite toilet. The location was lovely and quiet, close to Cairn O'Mohr Winery and an easy commute into the likes of Perth, Dundee and St. Andrews. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again in the future
- Caitlyn (10/5): - It was easy to find when following direction online. Pulled in and seen my name on the door we were staying in on post it, when went to house of owners she was welcoming and friendly. Prepared and said billing was paid for and key in door. When entering the apartment it was spacious for the two of us, wee kitchen area was fab.
Bed was comfortable and enough space for both of us, I loved the extra pillow. Due to getting ready for the Perth races, the rooms were full of light and good for getting ready make up wise etc. Shower was powerful and hot enough.
The places itself was in the middle of Perth and Dundee, we adventured to Dundee mostly but it was great to not been bang right in the centre and in the beautiful countryside but not even 30 mins drive away from both Perth and Dundee.
The only thing I’d say for improve would be that the internet connected to the TV to access Netflix to watch, or wifi access to connect to on our phone/laptop.
- Michelle Joyce (10/5): - I loved my stay at this place, it was nice, quiet, cozy and peaceful. Small and away the city bustle, perfect!
- Tim (10/5): - Peaceful, in beautiful countryside, lovely garden, full. Of birdsong
- Allan (10/5): - beautiful conversion in a beautiful courtyard
- Ian (8/5): Value for money - Worn and cosy no wifi which is a down side as website advertised wifi and website also say 11am check out signs in the rooms ask you to check out by 10am.
- Dawn (10/5): Lovely! - Lovely! Stayed here as a guest at a nearby wedding and it was perfect for our needs.
- Michael (10/5): - Excellent room with all the requirements. This place is a credit to the owners
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We had a lovely stay here. Great base for visiting Perth, Dundee and surrounding areas
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely, clean, spacious rooms. Very well equipped with everything we could need throughout our stay. Personal greet on arrival but well managed for self check in service. Very comfortable nights sleep and excellent shower room facilities. Would highly recommend for a travelling family of 3 as we were. Excellent!
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Lovely place to stay . Stayed one night on route to Aviemore . Everything we needed for an over night . We had our 2 golden retrievers with us and found a lovely walk beside river ray and woods late afternoon . Could have stayed longer .
