• Stephen (8/5): - Both downstairs and upstairs staff are extremely obliging, pleasant and helpful in giving advice to local services that aren't even relevant to the accommodation. Saving time for guests and guidance to quality and value. Re.accomodation, spacious bathrooms here at the Hume are my delight. Room supplies, which at other locales can be an issue are given even when the Do not disturb sign is up, left outside in small baskets. In the bar I enjoy having a beer outside when the sun is out at many tables adjoining the pub. Also guests are given tickets for free drinks in the pub. Not relevant.

• Tayyab (1/5): Moulded carpets and floor - Location The Queen room was very small. The bathroom shower had no fall towards drain. All the water is just pooling in the shower area. Can smell mould from the carpets. Even mould was noted to the toilet tiles. The aircon never cools , it just works as a fan.

• von Eyb (1/5): - Van at the reception tried to help but couldn't do much.. Van at the guy at the reception did what he could but it was not successful. First we had room 15 which was dirty and smelled horrible, then we were offered to stay in the next room, No 14. Both rooms were dirty and dusty, and there were a lot of cockroaches around the fridge area and at the window. The electric plugs (sockets) didn't work at all, though the lamps there were functional. We had to escape and look for a different location. The hygienic level was very bad.

Is very noise road so it’s hard to get asleep. The blinds do not cover the entire window so the light from the streets can seen throughout the room.

• Avisaki (4/5): Disappointing stay - No breakfast. It’s good for a night or two not more than 2 days stay. Its a pub nowhere to eat. Rooms should be serviced every day. There were Cockroaches in the room very disappointing.

• Oula (6/5): Convenient location and ok value for money. - The location was great, the bathroom was clean and the bedding was relatively comfortable. The housekeeping staff were lovely and very helpful but their hands were tied with what and was not available to them to provide. The room was very dusty, the carpet was pretty gross (sorry). I couldn't go barefoot at all on the carpet, felt really yuk under my feet. My first room smelt like mildew but I do appreciate being moved without question to a better room. There were no face washers, even when I called, they just didn't have any. The minibar fridge leaked, whatever I put in there got wet.

• Dave (1/5): Don’t return deposits - Nothing They don’t return the deposits. It’s been 24 days since I stayed here and they haven’t returned it. Make sure you include the AUD$100 deposit in the cost of your trip - because you aren’t getting it back

• Stephen (8/5): - Everything spot on for guests, facilities good especially in my room which had an enormous bathroom. Two free drinks at bar;water bottles and milk kept me hydrated before my daily walks during the current heatwave. Room air conditioning excellent but window overlooking side street allowed my favourite option. Staff at the pub and upstairs at accommodation extremely courteous and helpful.There are good food outlets nearby and shopping next stop at Banksstown also includes library, theatre and club options as well as department stores, banks etc. and eateries galore. Nothing to complain about at this place. Even the weather which last time here effected my public transport and walk options was this time irrelevant. There are a few rooms downstairs for those affected by the stairs.
• Alida (7/5): - The location was great - close to public transport and easy to get to. The staff were lovely, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. The room did have a minor issue with lighting (I didn't report it as it didn't bother me too much). Otherwise, my stay was comfortable.

Free parking as well! Easy to get out of Sydney due to better traffic conditions Lighting fixtures could be better. Would be also good to have white curtains for daytime instead of just window blinds.

• Shontelle (10/5): The staff at Nightcap hume went above and beyond for our family who were visiting for a funeral from proving us with wha - We were there from Sunday-Wednesday and always had a car park. It was very humid in Sydney so having a aircon helped a lot! Our room was very cosy and had enough room for 2 adults and 1 child. The pressure of the water in the shower was amazing! It would have been nice being able to open the windows for fresh air but having the aircon did help.

• Darren (3/5): Pretty ordinary - Not much Arrived at 1.40 and asked if i could check in and was told check in wasnt till 2pm ( 20 minutes )early. I said i was off to warwick farm race course as i had a horse racing and the reply was " SO". Extremley rude staff. No bistro was also a hassle. Never again.

• David (6/5): Hotel was ok, room was ok, no hot water and a little unclean. But suitable for what we needed. - Bed was fairly comfortable and room was spacious. Complimentary bottles of water in the fridge was a nice touch. The shower didn't have hot water. After a long drive and two nights stay it would have been nice to have a hot shower. We also received complimentary drink vouchers but the bar didn't open until late on Sunday so we didn't get to use them (tried a few times up until 9am and gave up). Also had cochroaches running around in the bathroom.
