It was offseason, so there was no one there to greet me. Which I had a call letting me know that would be the case. The cream was curdled. Pretty minimal amenities. I do think they're doing their best, however. I say it did not make my expectations. The photos on the website made it look like the cute little porch with a picket fence faced the lake. It did not, it was 3 ft from the highway

Gray (8/5): - This is an old school motel. We love the charm and the outside bar and Restaurant. They even had music on Friday night and volleyball teams on Thursday If you are looking for a luxury hotel this is not it. This is an old school motel with lots of charm.

After reading other reviews on hotels.com, I was looking forward to our stay. I was very disappointed. While the room was small and the furniture was outdated, the worst thing was the bed. It was very creaky and sagged towards the middle. It needs to be replaced. I did feel our room was very clean. We had no glasses--probably just an oversight. With the current bed, I would not feel comfortable recommending this hotel.
Bette (9/5): This was a perfect place to stay to explore the finger lakes region. - We LOVED the location, especially the view. Having onsight restaurant/bar is always a plus. It was a great base for our travels and exploration of the region. The bed was so high I needed assistance getting in and out but we have found that high beds are the norm in today's hotels. The shower was a bit small but got the job done. A soft chair (all that was provided was 3 dining type chairs) would have been nice but I took the chair from outside our room and put pillows in it to make it comfortable. I realize these things were in mostly due to limitations on my part and would definitely stay here again.

William (10/5): Hidden Gem on Conesus Lake - This Inn is a hidden gem. We wanted to visit Letchworth State Park (the Grand Canyon of the East). This property is less than 20 miles from the Mt Morris entrance. We stayed on a Monday night. The owner went out of her way to accommodate us. This property sits right on Conesus lake. There is not much beach, but enough area to get wet if you desire. After viewing Letchworth, the Monday Margarita special at the bar was welcoming. The bartenders, Kyle and Jasmine, were friendly and efficient. The food was typical bar food (the main restaurant is closed on Monday), but it was good and the wings were great. They have a beach volleyball league that plays on Monday night which was fun to watch. The bar has a soft tip dart game and a pool table in addition to NY state Quick Draw. Geneseo is about 10 or so miles North and has a Walmart, Wegman's and any other type of store you might need. We would gladly stay here again if in the area.

steve (10/5): - A micro-burst thunderstorm killed the power with a long lead time to repair as we arrived. Mary (the manager) arranged very suitable accommodations in a nearby area with power. She transferred the Expedia funds to our new hotel before we could get to it, and we did not incur any additional funds. Mary did this while handling a multitude of other issues due to the storm. Get her a pay raise now. We went back a couple of days later for drinks and dinner. The bar and restaurant are excellent as well. Absolutely outstanding service, we will be back. Thanks again!

Holly (5/5): Not what I expected. - The only things I liked was the ability to sit out by the water and the view of the lake from my room. But not worth $135 with tax included $150 a night. There was no breakfast or food offered. The restaurant was closed, which they did tell me ahead of time. But for the price of the room there could of at least been some kind of breakfast offered. No mention of how to check in or any signs. I had to call from my vehicle to get a key. There should also be information on the website about the hotel being right next to the main road. If I would have known all this beforehand I probably wouldn't have stayed. Room could of been cleaner as well. A lot of cobwebs and so much dirt and grime under bed and in corners. Could use a good spring cleaning.

Jennifer (7/5): Okay place to stay. Was close to my husband’s meeting for work. - The lake front was nice. The bar & grill on property was convenient. We watched some volleyball games while eating dinner. That was enjoyable & relaxing. The lightbulb in the only lamp was blown. One recessed light (out of three) was out above the kitchenette. The shower curtain needed to be washed. The mattress was old - definitely had a dip in the center. Replacement would probably be a good decision.

The only problem we found was noise heard from rooms next door you could heard the people talking.. other than that it was a beautiful view from Eagle Point over looking the scenic water of Conesus Lake.

Matthew (5/5): not worth the price will not consider staying there again - sheets were clean parking issues, whatever they clean with leaves an oily residue on everything that makes it feel dirty, nats around outside eating area are terrible they need to spray for them. Don’t plan on going to bed till the bar closes it is very noisy in the room.

There is also a bar for those who likes to drinks next door next to the restaurants. The only thing that kind of made us uneasy is the digital lock at the entrance door but no deadbolt to lock from the inside. It would make travelers feel more secure if there is a deadbolt in the inside of the entrance door.

Janet (10/5): Fun place - exceeded expectations! - The view from our room was exceptional; the restaurant far exceeded our expectations and the owner's friendly, knowledgeable and polite. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area. We plan to be back! The only "challenge" with the room that we found was the size of the shower. It was a little tight for us, but easily managed. We loved the room and the entire place had character and charm!

The amazing dinner at the restaurant. The kind staff. The lake view. Sounds crazy, but the paint job in the room….I’d like to find that painter and have them paint our house! Such detail…. The bed on rollers. They have no locks on the rollers.I tried to sit in bed to read, but the bed kept rolling away from the wall. Not a huge complaint, but a fixable one that would make the room perfect!
Tim (9/5): Awesome vibe, cute rooms. - We were on the lake boating, Beachcombers was an awesome place to spend the night. They had mooring provisions for out boat, and the bar was just a few steps from our room. Awesome vibe. We would most definitely stay again. Bar was busy with only 2 bar tenders so service was a little slow.
April (7/5): More for a party crowd, not really for a relaxing stay. - The rooms were newly renovated. They were clean. The motel was right on the lake. The bar and restaurant are right on the lake which was nice. The area is beautiful. It was advertised as private beach, there was a very small area of rocky runoff that you really couldn't even lay on a beach towel. The music is played every night so don't expect to get any sleep early! The walls from room to room are very thin because we could hear noises from the room next to us and the constant slamming of the door next to us.
Katherine (8/5): - Friendly staff met us at the car to check us in - we could park right in front of what I thought was our room as there are only 6 units RIGHT on the road. We had room #3/king suite which looked like it had a bump out in the b ack (rooms are over the restaurant, which was not open while we were there). Room has been updated and was extremely clean but furniture was old and drab, in need of replacing or just discarding for sleek smaller furniture to maximize space. Not sure if we needed to use the pull out couch how anyone could use bathroom. We were not there for the 'resort' which is basically an area in front of lake with a bar and tables with umbrellas, it was just home base as we explored the area around Lake Ontario and visit a friend in the area. Really, nothing objectionable, room was clean and we had what we needed - refrigerator, coffee maker, clean bathroom, small shower. Oh - water doesn't get hot quickly and apparently if restaurant is open, water pressure could be an issue.
