• John (5/5): Again the service was adequate but I didn’t get warm feelings of being a valued customer as I do at just about every oth - Good location Person on duty did her job but didn’t get the feeling i was a valued customer! They had rooms upstairs where I preferred to be but she stated it would cost you $15-20 more because no single rooms were available upstairs. With rare exceptions I’m usually giver a double room for the price of a single if no singles are available. Also I was not told that you get a discount for paying cash!

• Suzanne (8/5): Nice surprise! - What a nice surprise—better than we expected! Check in was quick with a lovely receptionist. Rooms are very basic but clean and fresh-smelling. It reminded us of a national park lodge. Short drive to Main Street.

Terrible and egotistical owner who won’t give you grace for a pet stay there. The breakfast is also TERRIBLE. Rooms, electrical, and the HVAC all super outdated. Walls are thin, you’re practically sleeping with the neighbor. Unless you’re looking for a rundown ‘motel’ I’d find somewhere else.

• judefritz (10/5): Perfect! - This is a really comfortable place to stay. There is virtually no noise transfer from other rooms. Everything is either new or in excellent condition. The owners make special effort to make sure you have what you need! We stayed seven nights and had a great experience. We travel a lot and places like this are hard to find. I recommend you book directly with them.

Rooms are nice sized, clean, and have everything we would want or need to use while staying there. We give this hotel a 5 star rating, highly recommend this place and will stay here again next time we travel this way. The owner is friendly, personable and we enjoyed a nice visit with her.

When our TV didn't work, the lady from the desk came right down and fixed it, very cheerfuly and helpfully. The property is a bit dated, admittedly, and I guess they're updating it one feature at a time. Two items: 1. The mattress on our bed seemed a bit old and starting to get bumpy--may need replacing. 2. The bathrooms really really need safety bars, especially by the tub. Otherwise, OK. I appreciated that there were enough electrical outlets to plug in chargers and c-pap. The property seemed quite quiet and in a convenient location for us.

• F7404VXrobertp (10/5): I recommend staying here when in the Eau Claire area. - After being unable to find a reasonably-priced hotel in Eau Claire that had good reviews, I broadened my horizons a bit and found this place. Glad I did. It's a half hour from Eau Claire, but worth the drive. It is reasonably priced and well-kept with friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable and appeared to have been recently updated. Good wifi, refrigerator in room, large TV, and continental breakfast. I plan to stay here again when I'm in the area.

• Brenda (10/5): Great to see American family owned businesses - Loved the feel of home. The mattresses are older but comfortable. We slept well. The owner was welcoming and gave us dining recommendations. McT's was delicious. So thankful to see a Gideon Bible, I had forgotten mine.

• markfQ5064WT (10/5): Sunrise Inn - We have stayed here a few times. It is a lovely place with nice personal touches. I appreciate the value. Our grandson enjoyed playing the games in the lobby. The room was spacious and beds good. A little firm but we slept well.
