- Jim (8/5): Comfortable bed, hot shower, friendly staff. - I’ve had multiple stays now and am thankful I chose this motel over the others of comparable price in the area.

- Jim (8/5): If you don’t plan on staying in your room a lot, it is a warm bed to sleep in and a shower at least! - It is a place to stay, it’s kinda centrally located for Valleyview. The woman who runs the (the only staff I’ve seen) is very friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to deal with her! It is rather old and not the most secure-feeling. But for the price, can’t really complain.
- Travis (6/5): - Very comfortable beds, cheap stay. Garbages hadn’t been dumped from the last people, heaters were crazy loud, and someone was stomping back and forth in a room above all night. This was brought to their attention, but they said they had not rented out the room above, so maybe it was a ghost. Haha
- Emily (7/5): -
- Cynthia (3/5): Won’t stay again - The staff was friendly and accommodating The water smelt and felt weird, there were multiple holes in our bathroom door
- Norman (6/5): Was in a motorcycle trip and the hotel was comfortable, clean and priced right - Good location. Beds were comfortable It’s a bit dated for sure and good use
Some love.
- Thomas (6/5): Cheap place to stay - Economical stay, clean bedding. Quiet night. Washroom had peeling paint and could use some maintenance.
- Dianne Daren (9/5): -
- Richard (10/5): Was good - Very nice experience! The hotel is close to everything and the atmosphere was relaxed.
- Hart (10/5): - It had everything I needed.
The staff was great and very accommodating. The room was super clean and comfortable.
Can't wait to come back.
- Dar (9/5): Clean, comfortable, friendly place to stay. - Very comfortable, very clean, fabulous staff.

- Susan (2/5): - Dump
- Kellee and Richard (2/5): - Stains on carpet and sheets
- Gilbert (2/5): Girls trip - Not a thing
- Daniel (7/5): it was ok - The lights in the bathroom didn't work, the room was dark
- Mary (4/5): Comfortable clean bed. - Convenient and affordable. Very, very outdated and old.Lawsuits just waiting to happen.Long black hairs on the bathroom floor.Second stay there the bathroom light didn’t work.
- John (1/5): A death trap with all the fire and health code violations. - It was close to the highway so I could get to a gas station and run as fast as I could. KEEP LOOKING, PAY MORE ELSEWHERE!
Upon arrival at around 9pm we were confronted with a note on the door as the front office was locked. The person did not have a computer available to verify our reservation or rate. Upon entering the room noticed a movie type run down motel with no idea how it ever received even 1 star. A door that barely closed, extension cords with multiple appliances (TV, microwave and coffee pot) all plugged into one. A ceiling fan with obvious water stains at the mounting point where the wiring is located and no smoke or CO2 detectors. With so many fire and health code violations I'm surprised this location could ever be recommended by Booking.com. As far as cleanliness, when I ran my fingers over the top of the TV I had to scrub hard to get past the dust collected at top.
The bathroom window screen looked like swiss cheese and it had to remain open for ventilation and that's probably how the small spider I had to exterminate before showering got in. Upon inspecting the bed noticed the cover had some previous burn holes and the sheets were sewn in several places. The two flat pillows provided didn't do much for the U shaped bed that sunk in with my 200 lbs. For those skeptical that might not believe this horror story please review the pictures provided.
- Mary (5/5): You get what you pay for.. - Value Very, very old and outdated. The bed was comfortable.
- Pauline (5/5): Ok place to crash for the night - Bed was great The place could use some love and care
- Ievgen (8/5): Very good -
- Moses (5/5): Passable - Location Cold older hotel
- Rigo (2/5): - Didnt even stay there, i got in and went back out drove away to the nearest hotel, i pay more for another hotel but “you get what you pay for” right?.
- Roland (10/5): Got more then expected for the price we paid. - All good Nothing wrong with that place.
- Daren (7/5): Quaint, cozy, quiet. - The location is convenient. The place is older, but it's comfortable and quiet. The staff are great (Gina goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need).
- Daniel (10/5): - great
- Darren (3/5): Poor - Location was good Very run down, would not stay there again
- Neil (8/5): - I was fine with the night, but some of the furnishing were a tad worn. Nice bed, however.
- Angela (8/5): - Liked that it was close to stores and Tim's
- Lorna (8/5): I'll be back - Great value. Super comfortable beds. Full-size fridge and freezer The water in Valleyview doesn't taste great. Take bottled water with you.
- Ross (8/5): Very good -
- Kumar (3/5): Poor -
- Noah (7/5): Good -
- Marcel (5/5): Passable - The price was very reasonable and the staff were friendly! The room smelled of smoke from years past and the room was extremely dated! Most of the motel was occupied by people with extended monthly stays and construction crews! It was pretty much what I expected for the price!
- Irene (7/5): Great value - Older property, but everything was clean. What I expected for the price on just a one night stop over. I have stayed in much worse places for much more money. Great value! Shower curtain would have been nice, but not necessary
- Abram (1/5): Bad - The room smelled bad, the beds had lots of animal hair on all the blankets and sheets. My daughter had an allergic reaction. We stayed in the room only for 2 hour and had to find a new room at a different hotel. There was only 2 working light bulbs.
- William (6/5): - Very good price for the two night stay.
- Manuel (2/5): it was....memorable... - It was easy to find, it was quiet, and it had a full sized fridge. We arrived at 11pm (my 8 year old daughter and I). Was charged $10 more than what i was supposed to pay. When we finally got into the room, the light switch did not work, the bed had black hair and eyelashes near the pillowcases and my daughter had a small Beetle crawling on her side of the bed (she likes bugs- so it was ok?!. It's an older hotel, and I didn't expect a whole lot, as it was just a place to sleep on the way to our destination. I pulled down the blankets and the beds looked ok, but I was a little to grossed out to sleep under the sheets so my brought in some blankets from the car and made our own bed. There is no sink in the bathroom...its next to the bed....which is odd... and the walls were concrete and rough looking. Honestly, if I didn't have to be up at 5:30am, I would have gone somewhere else.
My daughter referred to it as the Bates Motel.
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Heck (6/5): Entirely satisfactory for a good price. - We found the inside of the room just fine, even though the exterior of the buildings looked worn. Deceptively nice inside. Didn't have a shower curtain for our room, but that wasn't a problem.
- Justin (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (2/5): - The motel did not receive a booking from me so I had to pay again. Better not get charged twice.
- Joel (7/5): Good -
- Joel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Judy (7/5): Great place to stay and very affordable and close to hospital - They have an excellent restaurant and the room were clean and staff very friendly. The low toilet seat.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dustin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joseph (1/5): slept in cloths on top of blankets. - nothing everything
- Brendan (5/5): Passable -
- Lawrence (7/5): It was a dive but I expected worse for the price. Clean & reasonbly comfortable, too bad we could hear everything th - Very economical. Thin walls, poor setup for the bathroom vanity.
- You (10/5): Exceptional - Affordable
- B.whatcott (9/5): Pleasant staff, convenient location, not the Ritz but excellent value for the money! - Pleasant staff, excellent value for the money.
- W. (7/5): Good -
- Yadwinder (7/5): Good -
- Smolski (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joanne (5/5): Passable - This property needs a lot of updates, renovations, and upkeep. Staff person did not have my reservation for the date of arrival. Became argumentative, couldn't locate my reservation on their Booking.com, until after I gave the date that I made the reservation.
- Micheal (10/5): Pleasant, cozy, refreshing. - Authentic, comfortable, convenient. Loitering
- Mukul (2/5): Very poor - Location of the motel Stinky room, old bedspreads, dirty washroom
- W. (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gerry (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (5/5): Passable -
- Steve (7/5): Good -
- Alena (7/5): Good -
- Jo-anne (7/5): Good - Accessibility and good price Old
- W. (8/5): Very good -
- Sheryl (6/5): Pleasant - It was convenient and served it purpose. Decent price. Staff were lovely. Older and run down. Building needs some work.
- W. (5/5): Passable -
- Lasse (7/5): Good -
- Oleg (6/5): Pleasant -
- Antypowich (6/5): Pleasant - Amazing bed and pillows Drywall water stain on the ceiling. Air conditioner broken, Dewalt construction fan supplied to move the air around....old school.
- Glen (6/5): - You get what you pay for, air conditioner not working, they compensated with a big fan. Weather was cool so it wasn't a problem, I could have asked for a different room but didn't.
No TSN on cable so I had to go to the pub to watch my football games.
Overall the room was clean everthing worked (except the air conditioner), I give it a 6 out of 10 but I probably won't stay here again.
- Karen (8/5): - The beds were very comfy, which is most important when you are just staying the night. A little TLC and paint, it would be a great little spot. The owner was very nice. Thanks, Karen
- Oleg (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (8/5): We had 2 rooms and stayed 2 nights. Had a great mini vacation! - From the outside you would never guess how comfortable the rooms are. The manager is a very friendly guy. Absolute steal of a price! Decent restaurant attached to hotel. Co-op foods is a block down and Tim Hortons and Petro-Canada are a 3 minute drive. The outside needs some paint and town needs to fill in the potholes but mainly it’s cosmetic. Very deceiving compared to the rooms.
- Shane (5/5): Passable -
- David (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Clean room, comfortable bed
- Sonny (10/5): Exceptional - Good for the price N/A
- Wanda (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Spacious and clean room, comfortable bed. Good value for the money Nothing comes to mind
- Lexie (2/5): Very poor - unprofessional staff, lots of garbage laying around. rule was way too hot and there was no thermostat.
- Lorna (7/5): good price for a quick rest before continuing our journey - Location and value. Staff were wonderful. strong fragrance in the room, heater would make a very loud bang randomly
- Brian (6/5): It is adequate for a short term business stay. - It was convenient and available when I needed it. The controller for the room heater was off. It made me a bit uncomfortable
- Anar (2/5): Very poor -
- Nathan (2/5): Very poor -
- Kyle (3/5): Poor -
- Linda (4/5): - Very dirty & rundown
- Arijit (4/5): Shameful Motel - The upkeep of the property is awful. Broken doors, frame work of windows broken and in one room the light was also not working. The Manager showed me another room which was same in terms of other condition but lights were working. The towels are rugged and would turn you off. Floor was dusty.
Bed sheet was clean
- Cathy (10/5): Clean rooms and friendly staff, Good value for the money - Room was spotlessly clean. Spacious and comfortable. front desk lady was really nice, she allowed an early check in. Nearby chinese place was delicious!
- Kurt (1/5): Bad - The price was good but should of known better because of the low price Omg…where to start. We go to check in and she didn’t even know we had reservations. We decided to go look at the room because the building itself was a little worn, & lack of care. We open the door to our room and the smell was musty, the lamp shade was dangling, the mirror was so hazy and full of smudge marks. Wasn’t sure if the towels were even clean just how they were hanging. We cut our losses and stayed at another hotel near by. Pictures on the website are deceiving. Travellers beware!
