- Sandra (10/5): Excellent hotel, great price and superb location - Excellent location. Easy and inexpensive parking. There is a lounge and bar, also a rooftop bar, and restaurant right on the premises. The hotel is in an area with plenty of other restaurants in walking distance, the NJ transit system is directly across the street from the front of the hotel. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. On the weekend they have a Jazz night open to all. This is a great boutique hotel and is exceptional for the price. I highly recommend it.

Upon arrival the bar was playing loud music that made the check-in difficult. The room I reserved was not available. We could not find the hotel packing lot, nor when we arrived did the front desk ask us if we did. Coffee was not ready in the lobby until 7:30?? Most like would not return.

- kevinkorell (8/5): Very nice stay in Rahway - As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties across the Hilton portfolio when I visit a particular area. Being a resident of New Jersey, staying in this area is important to me when I don't wish to drive home after dark. A rarity, but I had stayed at the Watt once before for a similar reason. One cannot beat its proximity to a train station, which is the way I usually travel. Coming home from a much longer trip on Amtrak to Metropark, I was able to leave my car where it was, hop up one station on NJT to Rahway to get to this hotel. As I always do, via the Hilton app I checked in and chose my room the day before arrival. That worked well, and I appreciated the Diamond upgrade. Upon arrival I did stop at the desk to obtain a plastic key since I remembered there were extra doors to go through to get to the guest rooms. Staff at the desk was cordial and helpful. The room was huge, almost too large for my needs. But I got the impression that is was a little under-furnished... .too much empty space. I think the room could have used more furniture or something to fill in the space. The separate bedroom was equipped with its own climate control, and also a sound machine, which I had not seen before but I realized that some might be bothered by the frequent train horns. They ARE loud, but if you've travelled there by train, leave there by train, and just travelled by train for the past week, you kind of expect it. :) Another nit in the room was the lack of a desk. I had to move the dining table closer to reach an outlet in order to plug in my laptop and phone. Still had decent sleep, and in the morning I was prepared to return to Metropark and my car and head home. Overall, a nice stay in a very convenient location.
- Julie (8/5): - Room was very modern and clean. The young man who worked the night of the 26th and 27th was very friendly. The lady who worked the bar was fantastic. Location is right across from the train station which makes it very convenient to get into rhe city. Overall good experience. Our room was on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately there is a dog club/daycare directly next door. The dogs begin barking very early in the morning, which is outside of the hotels control. Security door was a little hard to pull but again there was not anything that would keep me from coming back.

- 773donk (4/5): Clean, but felt cheap. Mixed service experience - I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It gives off vibes that it’s high end, but has many aspects feeling cheap. For example, the lobby looks grand, but you exit the elevators on your floor and you’re in a dingy lobby that needs your key card to exit into the room hallway. The room looked nice, but the fixture next to the bed didn’t turn on (lamp nor power outlet); and the bathroom fixtures were all scratched and cheap looking. I experienced rude difficult customer service at check in at 11pm (you’d think they’d have nothing better to do but provide good kind service), but then I had good customer service at checkout. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom clean too. The hallway felt very much like a dorm room hallway, it was very peculiar. They didn’t provide any welcome amenity for Hilton: neither points nor food and bev credit.

- R9240RIstevena (10/5): The people at the Watt make the experience - We have been staying at the Watt this weekend for a family wedding and about 20 of us wandered in and out in the lounge for breakfast on Sunday morning. Ray was a patient, gracious host for us, coming back and forth as people wandered in throughout the morning, giving us a chance to fuel up for our trips home and say our goodbyes. We had a great stay at the Watt and Ray was the icing on the cake. I also heartily recommend saying hi to Karlique at the from desk. He’ll greet you at check-in with a beaming smile and he’s always cheerful and helpful any time you need something at the hotel or info about the neighborhood.

- Nick (10/5): - Four floors of this 14 story new construction rental / condo type building are a Hilton hotel and this hotel has the spirit of a new construction gentrification boheamouth. The entrance and lobby are confused and unpleasantly laid out clearly designed to service the needs of both uses of the property and maximize revenue at a loss of ambiance. The one building has two entrances one for the renters and one for the hotel guests and though they share the elevators guests and residents are expected (and verbally instructed if they use the wrong entrance) to use separate entrances. The result is a confusing lobby design oms of the hotel are t same , mostly bare grey walls with sparse bad are prints, a few nice fixtures, (very nice furniture though) it's got a mid / bare minimum feel, no wallpaper or wainscoting or interesting features on the wall just sheetrock and savage baseboard. It all feels like staged apartments without any of the care or interior design that would make it feel thoughtful to the guests inner life or aesthetic experience. However it's clean and new, everything worked, the beds are comfortable, the suites are huge but some have odd shapes they feel like huge rooms not premium experiences. The price is right, it's a good hotel I guess its the best in the area. It is wildly inconvenient that they don't have a parking lot but there is a municipal lot around the corner and it's only $14 overnight, but it's still annoying they don't have their own lot.

- M (5/5): Not good experience - Only the location of hotel. It was within walking distance of an event we were attending 1)checking at front desk was charged $50 deposit , it was not clear what for? Was told would be refunded on checking out. On checking out they said it’ll be refunded within 3 to 5 days. ? 2)price vs value is poor. 3) 🥲 the Amenities are very poor Toiletaries soap lotion very poorly placed and attached to wall. No teeth care. NOT ENOUGH TOWELS. The room is poorly lit. 4) The grey/black color prevails on all the interior design. Doors corridors carpets the uniforms of the staff all that add gloominess to the stay. 5) the A/C unit in our room it sounded like a locomotive. We did not sleep well. 6) the mixed use of building isn’t good ideas 7) no free parking at this price. 8) the view: we look at garbage containers backside of the room 9) it was mentioned breakfast forv$10.95. Went down to eat but found out weekend menu.

Sat down at the bar and then saw the service lady with a white shirt on and blue pants walk out of the kitchen and then sit down where no one can see her. And then came back when she wanted to not worried about the customers that’s were waiting at all, then proceeded to give them an attitude. Which should never be given to paying customers. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Won’t recommend at all to anyone because of how rude this women is. When asking around a ton of people have problems with her. This is not the first occurrence.
- Btunde11 (2/5): Worst Hotel Experience, Loud Outdated and Rude Staff - My stay at the Watt Hotel from August 29 to September 2 was a complete disappointment. The room was right next to the train tracks and the noise made it impossible to sleep for four nights. The AC unit was also extremely loud and the room was outdated, which made the stay even worse. The service was equally poor. At check-in no information was provided and the staff seemed untrained and uninterested in helping. The receptionist Khadijah was not only unprofessional but rude both when I arrived and when I checked out. I requested a room change and was told someone would follow up, but no one ever did. After leaving I filed a complaint directly with Hilton Corporate. They promised I would hear back within three days but a week has passed with no response at all. For the price I paid this was unacceptable. I will never return to this property and I strongly recommend that others avoid it as well.

- Natalie (4/5): - The hotel does not have its own parking. The garage is owned by a third party. It is pay by the hour so it's not $12 a night as advertised on Expedia. Also the garage was often full. The bathroom was so dirty and out dated. I would never stay here again and I was shocked that it was affiliated with Hilton.

- Rosa Elena (10/5): Familia - Situado bien frente a la estación de tren que lleva al aeropuerto de Newark y a New York, el staff muy gentiles .
- Verified traveler (4/5): Uncomfortable environment - Hallways smelled like people were smoking pot. The shower base was painted and peeling. The next morning it smelled again. I watched the bar tenders tasting customers mixed drinks. Just overall a bad time.

- Bryana Lyn (10/5): - I enjoyed that this property was near the train station. Along with the staff being very accommodating and welcoming.
