My bed was the only thing I would even consider complaining about. Just a bit uncomfortable, but for what was paid I wasn't expecting luxury, more just a cool atmosphere with cool people looking to be able to spend the most time on the mountain and make some friends while at the lodging.

There were 2 bathrooms, both with showers, sinks, and toilets. The staff was very nice and super helpful. The breakfast was smaller than I expected but still included enough to have a full breakfast.

There was a common area refrigerator where you could store your own food (milk, juice, butter, lunch meat). The TV did not work although I didn't plan on watching a lot. If I had asked someone about it, it probably would have been a minor fix

Das Zimmer war etwas klein, aber für uns auf jeden Fall für eine Nacht ausreichend.

We had to pay about $240 per night he at the room has no refrigerator and no microwave. He had to go out into the common area to the common refrigerator to keep things cold and the common microwave to heat up your food. Also the room was very narrow and uncomfortable and the bathroom tiny and the Wi-Fi extremely inadequate get all of this for a giant price. Very overpriced!

• Arkady (4/5): - The place was unstaffed and felt miserably lonely. The lack of hot water and heating at night made it even more uncomfortable. After staying for 2 nights, I was relocated to a different place instead of being allowed to stay for another 2 nights as I had hoped.

Having a drink that you brought, talking with friends and strangers, is an experience that you won't have at a motel. You get what you pay for. If you want 5 star luxury TOTR is not where you want to be.

People staying there were very friendly. Breakfast was the one let down. Orange juice ran out the first morning and was unavailable the 2nd morning. Coffee and selection were ok. But for the price per night this was more than ok for me.

Great for daily skiing. Very minimum furniture. bed, a wooden bench and two small night stands. No chair, no desk, no cabinet, no drawers. I had to do some computer work and I wish I had a small desk.

• Sonyta (10/5): - This was such a cozy lodge! They provided a complimentary breakfast with plenty of pastries, bread, coffee, water, orange juice & cereal. It was super convenient that breakfast was ready by 6:30am, which was perfect timing for us to eat before hitting the slopes by 8am! This is a shared lodge, so there is a main room on the first floor with large tables & couches in front of a fireplace where you can lounge & mingle with others. Just a heads up, if you don't want to share a bathroom, make sure to reserve the "private bath" upon booking!

• DONALD (10/5): Classic county ski lodge - This is my second stay here. It was an excellent experience. Clean and comfortable rooms with and excellent, well appointed common room/lobby with eating area, fireplace, game tables, TV and music area

• Philip (9/5): Superb - The Lodge exudes the cozy charm of a skiing community, complete with a wonderful wood-burning fireplace and comfortable sofas, making it a perfect spot to relax in the evenings. The room temperature was easy to adjust to our needs, adding to the overall comfort. The room was a bit tiny.

TRL met all of our needs with clean and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast far exceeded expectations with fresh pastry and baked goods. • Amy (10/5): - We stayed 2 nights on Thanksgiving we were visiting family nearby. TOTR served our needs perfectly! It was clean, warm and friendly. Not fancy, not expensive at all, we just slept there. It was a mile from my brother's house. I forgot my ice/snow brush for the car and by morning, we had several inches on the ground. The woman at the front desk loaned me a broom and even ran out to help me clean the car. It was a great stay, I am glad we found Turn of the River.

Third floor walk-up, no elevator. Steep stairs, small room, limited towels, soap, etc. Tiny stall shower. No cups for drinking, no facial tissues, Broken handles on the one dresser, tiny TV (not the HD TV promised). No heat control - too hot - then no screen in window. Generally a huge disappointment for a room of this price. We left at dawn after the first night. Looking for a refund!!

The walls are paper thin and no matter how much Febreeze is sprayed, each room has a different odor. • Alice (6/5): The room is not worth the price - Location The room and bathroom were very small . There was not a dresser , closet or a luggage rack in the room. It takes more than ten minutes for the the hot water to get up to the third floor.

• Virginia (10/5): - This property is a ski lodge and once you understand that, its great! Its an older place that maximizes space for sleeping. Theres a large common area with lots of comfy seating, a piano and a huge fireplace. Breakfast was typical continental style, coffee was good and the hostess was interesting and informative. Our room was small as was the bathroom but it was totally adequate!

• Christine (10/5): - Thank you Audrey for the warm welcome!! It's a beautiful lodge with the river across the road and beautiful tree filled hillside. Audrey was so friendly to start a fire outside and visited with us. She made us feel right at home. It's very clean and homey. I recommend you stay here if you can it's well worth it!!
• michele (8/5): - I loved that this was a traditional Vermont ski lodge. It's definitely not fancy, the walls are thin, but it is so "Vermont". I loved that the downstairs had a living room with games and magazines, making it very social for those who want to be social. If you want the ski lodge aura, this is the place to stay!
