- Matthew (6/5): - Location was good, main plaza 10 minute walk at most. Air con worked very well. Rooms clean, good size. Breakfast ends at 9am which is very early. Staff were helpful & allowed us to leave our bags when we went to Tayrona park. Had a small issue that they couldn’t provide us with a key to our room, they told us that some other guest took the key when they left, naturally security is a main concern for travelers with passports etc in our rooms. But we had no choice but to leave our room unlocked when leaving the hotel for dinner with all of our belongings. They did rectify it and got us a key for the room after we got back from being out but the way it was handled initially was not professional at all. When this occurred it was our second booking with them.

- Olinda (10/5): Great stay in Santa Marta. - Great hotel, with rooftop. Clean new rooms, v comfy bed. Free breakfast. The area is nice and quite at night. We ended up staying here a couple of times as they kindly looked after our large rucksacks while we went up to Tayrona and Palomino. We especially enjoyed the local restaurants and corner bars. Great value, would definitely recommend.

- Michael (10/5): Hidden Gem - Hidden gem! Perfect for people who love to get away from all of the hustle and bustle, but still want to be close to city life. The owner, Damar, is an incredible host and made my girlfriend and I feel like family. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained with a homie feel. The rooftop is also super nice and we loved spending time up there enjoying the view and spending time with other guests. We definitely reccommend staying here and hope to be back soon!
- Kristofer (10/5): Central location, safe & secure, and clean! - Casa Aparte is close to all the sights in Santa Marta and an easy walk to the buses for Tayrona and Minca. They stored our luggage for free while visiting other sites, the staff are all super friendly and helpful (especially Damar), they serve you breakfast, and the AC in the private rooms is 24 hours! I definitely recommend this hostal, and stayed here on three separate occasions with consistent service.
- TUGDUAL (8/5): - Personnel très accueillant et souriant, Damal et Ricci étaient très sympa et l’hôtel est très bien situé(proche restaurant et supermarché). Par contre pas d’eau chaude et petit déjeuner basique. Cependant bon séjour.
